Today, consumers can access Internet from everywhere, therefore most commercial and other organizations provide their services on the Web. As the result, countless Web service systems are already on the Internet and more systems are under construction. Therefore, many researches of verifying that the system to be constructed will not have any deadlock and will run successfully without any problem at the early stage of design have been performed. Several Petri net based verification methods have also been published. However, they have focused on building Petri net models of Web service systems and none of them introduces efficient analysis methods. As a mathematical technique with which we can find the minimum duration time needed to fire all the transitions at least once and coming back to the initial marking in a timed net, the minimum cycle time method has been widely used in computer system analysis. A timed net is a modified version of a Petri net where a transition is associated with a delay time. A delay time used in a timed net is a constant even though the duration time associated with an event in the real world is a stochastic number in general. Therefore, this paper proposes 'Mixedly Distributed Stochastic Timed Net' where a transition can be associated with a stochastic number and introduce a minimum cycle time analysis method for 'Mixedly Distributed Stochastic Timed Net'. We also introduce a method of analysing a Web service system's response time with the minimum cycle time analysis method for 'Mixedly Distributed Stochastic Timed Net.'.

Ensuring the safety of automobiles and trains during system operation is regarded as indispensable due to the progress in unmanned operation. The automotive functional safety standard, ISO 26262, has been proposed to ensure the safe design of vehicles. This standard describes in detail the required risk analysis and evaluation procedure and safety measures, while appropriately reflecting the system design information. Therefore, much research has been done on the risk analysis procedure, wherein the design information is mostly extracted from physical components of similar systems already in operation, the information traced back to obtain constituent functions, and then methods of identifying risk sources are studied. This method allows the sources of risk to be identified quickly and easily, however if the design requirements are changed or systems are newly developed, others may be introduced which are not accounted for, thereby yielding mismatched design information. To resolve this problem, we propose a top-down analysis in order to utilize the system design information appropriately. Specifically, a conceptual system is designed to obtain the functions, which are then analyzed. Then, a function-based fault tree analysis is conducted, followed by a risk source analysis. In this paper, a case study of automotive safety is presented, revealing that the proposed method can analyze the risk sources with reduced possibility of omission by systematically reflecting the system design information.

Various methods have been applied for the research to model the relationship between rainfall-runoff, which shows a strong nonlinearity. In particular, most researches to model the relationship between rainfall-runoff using artificial neural networks have used back propagation algorithm (BPA), Levenberg Marquardt (LV) and radial basis function (RBF). and They have been proved to be superior in representing the relationship between input and output showing strong nonlinearity and to be highly adaptable to rapid or significant changes in data. The theory of artificial neural networks is utilized not only for prediction but also for classifying the patterns of data and analyzing the characteristics of the patterns. Thus, the present study applied self?organizing map (SOM) based on Kohonen's network theory in order to classify the patterns of rainfall-runoff process and analyze the patterns. The results from the method proposed in the present study revealed that the method could classify the patterns of rainfall in consideration of irregular changes of temporal and spatial distribution of rainfall. In addition, according to the results from the analysis the patterns between rainfall-runoff, seven patterns of rainfall-runoff relationship with strong nonlinearity were identified by SOM.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the purchase behavior, the level of shopping satisfaction for inbound Chinese tourists buying fashion products and the analysis of the influence of fashion product purchase criteria and effects of store attributes toward shopping satisfaction in Korea. Subjects were selected through convenient sampling technique in Incheon International Airport. A self-administered questionnaire was developed in Chinese by translation and back-translation method. Finally, 284 questionnaire out of 420 were used for data analysis. To analyze data, factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, etc. were carried out. A used statistical package was PASW 18.0. The analysis results were as follows. First, most of the repondents were women in 20s and 30s, who were purchasing fashion products more than other during the period of travel. Second, the product purchase criteria were identified as 'practicality', 'design and quality', 'memorabilia' and 'hallyu'. As the analysis results, shopping satisfaction was influenced by 'design and quality' and 'hallyu'. Thirdly, the effects of store attributes were identified as 'product', 'environment' and 'employees'. and customer's shopping satisfaction was influenced by all of those. By the end of this paper, For the purpose of achieving more competitive fashion products, the 4P marketing strategies targeting Chinese tourists were discussed based on the results.
Pushover analysis has gained significant popularity as an analytical tool for realistic determination of the inelastic behaviour of RC structures. Though significant work has been done to evaluate the demands realistically, the evaluation of capacity and realistic failure modes has taken a back seat. In order to throw light on the inelastic behaviour and capacity evaluation for the RC framed structures, a 3D Reinforced concrete frame structure was tested under monotonically increasing lateral pushover loads, in a parabolic pattern, till failure. The structure consisted of three storeys and had 2 bays along the two orthogonal directions. The structure was gradually pushed in small increments of load and the corresponding displacements were monitored continuously, leading to a pushover curve for the structure as a result of the test along with other relevant information such as strains on reinforcement bars at critical locations, failure modes etc. The major failure modes were observed as flexural failure of beams and columns, torsional failure of transverse beams and joint shear failure. The analysis of the structure was by considering all these failure modes. In order to have a comparison, the analysis was performed as three different cases. In one case, only the flexural hinges were modelled for critical locations in beams and columns; in second the torsional hinges for transverse beams were included in the analysis and in the third case, joint shear hinges were also included in the analysis. It is shown that modelling and capturing all the failure modes is practically possible and such an analysis can provide the realistic insight into the behaviour of the structure.
Since fire was founded in the world, human races have invented various heating methods. Ondol is traditional heating method in Korea. It is very the important work to trace the history and characteristics of Ondol which originated and was developed in the Korean peninsula. Especially, the study on Ondol will contribute to improving the present heating methods and predicting future ones. In this paper, we shall study through the analysis of documents such as oriental documents, the document of Choseon dynasty, European documents and American documents. In order to discover the origins of Ondol as one of the excellent heating method all over the world, This study aims at identifying the history and characteristics of Ondol in the Korean peninsula, through document analysis. Results of this study are as follows. 1) The first document about Ondol is Sookyongjoo(水經注), Chinese ancient geography book. Contents recorded in the book include the description related to Ondol at Kwankyesa temple which was located at the border land between Gogooryo(ancient Korea) and the northeast of China. 2) Ondol was popular heating method in Gogooryo(ancient Korea) and it was used in not only Gogooryo but also Silla Kingdom and Beakje Kingdom. Thereafter, it was also used widely in Goryo dynasty and Choseon dynasty. Thereby we know that Ondol has been used as a heating method for a long time in the Korean peninsula. 3) Ondol was covered with a floor paper since the beginning of Choseon dynasty. the paper made room clean and impacted on Korean life style. Because the floor was clean and warm, Koreans thus took off shoes and sat on the floor. 4) Ondol was spreaded to Jeju island in Korea before 16th century but wasn't used widely there. The reason was that Ondol was rare high class heating system and the weather was warm in Jeju island. 5) The overspreading of Ondol caused that poor people built roughly Ondol in the last of Choseon dynasty. So, the quality of Ondol gradually became lower and lower. 6) A westerner was impressed by the novelty of Ondol and Frank Lloyd Wright had played an important role to update and spread Ondol widely all over the world. Hailing Ondol as the ideal heating system, Frank Lloyd Wright began incorporating it in his buildings back in the U.S. and even invented a modified ondol system, using hot water running through pipes instead of the hot exhaust through flues.

Retaining walls are widely used in the construction of underground structures. This study reviews the stability of the high-strength joint buried pile method at a site in Korea. [Consider giving details of the location.] The method is assessed by considering the amount of ground settlement, as calculated by finite element analysis and measured at the site. Comparison of the measured and numerical results confirmed the method's stability and field applicability. Settlement of 13.42~13.65 mm was calculated for seven cross-sections [The Abstract should be comprehensible without reference to the main text. The labels A-A' to G-G' should not be introduced here without explanation.] using numerical analysis, and the measured settlement reached a maximum of 2.00 mm. The observed differences and variations [Please state what differed/varied.] did not exceed the design expectations in any section. Instruments installed at the back of the excavation area were used to assess the conditions. An underground gradient meter recorded a cumulative horizontal displacement of between -0.40 and 0.60 mm, and an underground water meter recorded slight displacements of between -0.21 and 0.28 m compared with the initial measurements. A surface settlement meter observed very little movement, with a maximum of -2.00 mm compared with the initial measurement, thereby confirming the establishment of a stable state within the management criteria.
The Purpose of this thesis is to develop a vehicle classification algorithm using single Magnetometer detector during presence time of vehicle detection and is to examine a held application from field test. We collected data using Magnetometer detector on freeway and used digital data to change voltage values according to magnetic flux density in analysis. We collected these datum during the presence time and then obtained characteristics from wave form in these datum. Based on these characteristics, We used the following three methods for this a1gorithm :1. Template Matching Method,2. Neural Network Method using Back-propagation Algorithm 3. Complex Method using changed slope points and mixing method 1, 2. Of course, Before processing of over three methods, These data were processed normalizing by 20, 40 of size in only X axis and moving average by 0, 3, 4, 5 of size. Vehicle classification were Processed in three steps ; 2, 3, 5 types classification. In 2 types vehicle classification, recognition rate is 83% by template matching method.

With the increase in installed solar energy capacity, comparison and analysis of the physical property values of solar cells are becoming increasingly important for production. Therefore, research on determining the physical characteristic values of solar cells is being actively pursued. In this study, a diode equation, which is commonly used to describe the I-V behavior and determine the electrical characteristic values of solar cells, was applied. Using this method, it is possible to determine the diode ideality factor (n) and series resistance ($R_s$) based on light I-V measurements. Thus, using a commercial screen-printed solar cell and an interdigitated back-contact solar cell, we determined the ideality factor (n) and series resistance ($R_s$) with a modified diode equation method for the light I-V curves. We also used the sun-shade method to determine the ideality factor (n) and series resistance ($R_s$) of the samples. The values determined using the two methods were similar. However, given the error in the sun-shade method, the diode equation is considered more useful than the sun-shade method for analyzing the electrical characteristics because it determines the ideality factor (n) and series resistance ($R_s$) based on the light I-V curves.
A high-performance liquid chromatographic method was employed for the determination of bumetanide in human plasma. After addition of internal standard (IS, naproxen) and acidification of the plasma with 1 M hydrochloric acid, the drug and IS were extracted into dichloromethane. The organic phase was back-extracted into 1 M sodium bicarbonate solution and 50 ${\mu}l$ of the aqueous phase was injected onto a reversed-phase C18 column with a mobile phase consisting of methanol: water: glacial acetic acid = 65 : 35 : 1. The samples were detected utilizing a fluorescence detector (excitation wavelength 235 nm, emission wavelength 405 nm). The method was specific and validated with a lower limit of 5 ng/mL. Intra- and inter-day precision and accuracy were acceptable for all quality control samples including the lower limit of quantification. The applicability of the method was demonstrated by analysis of plasma after oral administration of a single 2 mg dose to 24 healthy subjects. From the plasma bumetanide concentration vs. time curves, the mean AUC was $246.5{\pm}73.8\;ng{\cdot}hr/mL$ and $C_{max}$ of $132.1{\pm}40.9$ ng/mL reached 1.2 hr after administration. The mean biological half-life of burnet ani de was $1.1{\pm}0.2$hr. Based on the results, this simple and validated assay method could readily be used in any pharmacokinetic or bioequivalence studies using humans.
