Filtering Time Optimization in Vehicle Electronic Control Systems Using a Non-Contact Magnetic Sensor and Dual Buffer Structure (차량용 전자 제어 시스템에서 비접촉식 자기장 센서와 이중 버퍼 구조를 이용한 필터링 시간 최적화)

  • The automotive industry is transitioning from traditional internal combustion engines to systems powered by motors, batteries, and various electronic control units. Central to this shift is the micro-controller unit, which processes data from various sensors for real-time environmental awareness and control. This paper explores using non-contact magnetic sensors for sensing vehicle inclination as part of a digital twin implementation. Unlike optical or contact sensors, non-contact magnetic sensors offer robust performance in challenging environments, providing consistent and reliable data under varying conditions. To optimize real-time data processing, we propose a double buffer structure to enhance digital signal processing performance in embedded systems. Experiments using a custom sensor-integrated board demonstrate that the double buffer structure with direct memory access-enabled serial peripheral interface significantly reduces data processing time and improves noise reduction filtering. Our results show that the proposed system can greatly enhance the reliability and accuracy of sensor data, crucial for real-time vehicle control systems. In particular, by using the double buffer structure proposed in this paper, it was possible to secure 8.27 times more data compared to raw data, despite performing additional filtering. The techniques outlined have potential applications in various fields, offering enhanced monitoring and optimization capabilities, thus paving the way for more advanced and efficient vehicle control technologies.

  • The driver model during drift cornering was examined, and a technique to improve vehicle movement performance during drift cornering was investigated. Based on the results obtained, the driver was found to steer using feedback of the body slip angle and the body slip angle velocity during drift cornering. Moreover, improvement of the cornering force characteristic, at which exceeded the maximum cornering force calm as much as possible is important.

  • In this study, low emission gasoline engine system is developed utilizing an EGR valve, 3 way catalytic converter and electronic fuel injection system. EGR was controlled by a needle valve and optimized at the engine conditions. Throttle body fuel injection system is used for fueling. When the engine was operated at constant speed by the electronic engine control system with the 3 way catalytic converter, th emissions were reduced by 50 to 90% in volume depending on he engine operating conditions.

  • 자율주행 차량이란 목적지를 입력하면 운전자의 도움없이 자율적으로 주행환경을 인식하면서 주어진 목적지까지 안전하고 신속하게 스스로 주행할 수 있는 차량을 말한다. 차량이 자율주행을 하기 위한 가장 중요한 요소는 주행로의 경계를 인식하고 정확한 조향 각도를 구하는 일이다. 이의 잘못된 인식과 잘못된 계산은 차량으로 말미암아 많은 물적, 인적손실을 가져올 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 주위환경을 인식하는데 차량의 전방에 CCD 카메라를 부착하여, 이를 통해 얻어진 도로의 영상으로부터 도로 경계의 인식 방법과 핸들의 조향 각도를 계산하는 방법론을 제시하고자 한다.

  • Clutch disc 의 facing은 사용할 때마다 마찰로 인하여 마멸된다. 마멸함에 따라 clutch cover의 구조상 clutch cover의 release lever가 올라와 clutch release bearing (thrust bearing)과의 간 극이 작아져서 드디어 이 간극이 없어지게 되면 release lever가 clutch release bearing을 누르게 되어 평상에도 clutch가 절반 정도로 떨어지는 상태로까지 됨으로써 clutch의 완전한 연결을 할 수 없어 slip이 일어나게 된다. 이상과 같은 문제점들을 해소하기 위하여 clutch의 control system을 수시로 조정하지 않으면 안되며 이러한 번거로움을 피하기 위하여 release lever가 올라옴으로써 release bearing과의 간극이 작아져서 자동적으로 일정한 간극을 유지하여 clutch의 slip을 방지하고 clutch기구의 내구성을 향상시키기 위한 것이 무조정식 release cylinder, 혹은 clutch adjuster이다. 이에 대한 신형식 두 종류의 구조, 작동 및 특징에 대하여 해설하여 본다.

  • The viscoelastic layer material is widely used to control the noise and vibration characteristics of the panel structure. This paper describes the design technology of the effective vibration damping treatment using the concept of the equivalent parameter of viscoelastic layer materials. Applying the equivalent parameter concepts based on theories of shell, it is possible to simulate the finite element analysis of damping layer panel treatments on the vibration characteristics of the structure. And it is achieved the reduced computational cost and the optimal design of topological distribution for the reduction of vibration effect.

  • It is important to control the axial forces of high tension bolts such as the automobile, construction machine, aircraft, marine engine bolts. However, the direct method to measure the axial forces of bolts practically have not been found out. The ultrasonic techniques is based on the principles that the bolt tensile elongation and ultrasonic velocity changes are proportional to the axial force below the yield point of the materials. From the result of the experiment, the coefficient of acoustoelasticity k could be measured as - 11.18*10$_{-5}$m $m^{2}$k $g_{f}$./.

  • 최근의 경량화 췌ㅅ로 말미암아 승용차의 차체는 박판일체식 구조로 제작되어 구조적 강성의 약화를 가져 왔으며 이로 인하여 외부의 요인으로부터 발생되는 승용차의 진동문제는 더욱 악화되고 해결하기 어렵게 되어가고 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 여러가지 문제로 인하여 전륜구동형 승용차의 조향계에서 발생되는 Shake와 Shimmy를 2-모드 동흡진기를 사용하여 제어하고자 하며 실제적으로 시작품을 제작하여 실차상태에서 확인시험을 실시하였다.
