A Design of Color-identifying Multi Vehicle Controller for Material Delivery Using Adaptive Fuzzy Controller (적응 퍼지제어기를 이용한 컬러식별 Multi Vehicle의 물류이송을 위한 다중제어기 설계)

  • In This paper, we present a collaborative method for material delivery using a distributed vehicle agents system. Generally used AGV(Autonomous Guided Vehicle) systems in FA(Factory Automation) require extraordinary facilities like guidepaths and landmarks and have numerous limitations for application in different environments. Moreover in the case of controlling multi vehicles, the necessity for developing corporation abilities like loading and unloading materials between vehicles including different types is increasing nowadays for automation of material flow. Thus to compensate and improve the functions of AGV, it is important to endow vehicles with the intelligence to recognize environments and goods and to determine the goal point to approach. In this study we propose an interaction method between hetero-type vehicles and adaptive fuzzy logic controllers for sensor-based path planning methods and material identifying methods which recognizes color. For the purpose of carrying materials to the goal, simple color sensor is used instead of intricate vision system to search for material and recognize its color in order to determine the goal point to transfer it to. The technique for the proposed method will be demonstrated by experiment.

  • The swirl ratio of a charge in the cylinder was estimated by calculating the ratio of the rotary speed of charge which could be simulated from the rotary speed of paddle in the swirl measurement apparatus, to the engine speed which could be calculated by measuring intake air flow rate. The automation of the swirl ratio measurement for cylinder head was achieved by controling both valve lift in cylinder head and a suction pressure of surge tank using two step-motors. The number of measurement position for calculating mean swirl ratio was varied by adjusting the interval of valve lift. The mean swirl ratio with varying the number of measurement position showed nearly constant value. Two measurement methods for measuring the swirl ratio were compared, one was to control the suction pressure of the surge tank with PID (proportional, integral, differential) mode with by-pass valve controlled by the step motor and the other did not control the surge tank pressure by fixing the by-pass valve. The difference of the mean swirl ratio between the two measurement methods showed nearly constant value with varying the number of measurement position. This means that the w/o PID control method could be preferred to the PID control method which has been used, due to the simpleness of the swirl measurement.

  • Jitterbug is a passive network covert timing channel supplying reliable stealthy transmission. It is also the basic manner of some improved covert timing channels designed for higher undetectability. The existing entropy-based detection scheme based on training sample binning may suffer from model mismatching, which results in detection performance deterioration. In this paper, a new detection method based on the feature of Jitterbug covert channel traffic is proposed. A fixed binning strategy without training samples is used to obtain bins distribution feature. Coefficient of variation (CV) is calculated for several sets of selected bins and the weighted mean is used to calculate the final CV value to distinguish Jitterbug from normal traffic. Furthermore, the timing window parameter of Jitterbug is estimated based on the detected traffic. Experimental results show that the proposed detection method can achieve high detection performance even with interference of network jitter, and the parameter estimation method can provide accurate values after accumulating plenty of detected samples.

  • This paper describes the design and realization of full attitude system based on MEMS IMU and GPS carrier phase. The work can be divided into two parts: First, initial heading is determined by using two GPS receivers. And this paper discusses the usage of space geometry conditions to reduce the range of ambiguity search. The method presented in this paper was tested on the static. On the static condition, an accuracy better than 0.06 degrees for heading for 3.48m long baseline has been achieved. Integration of GPS and low cost MEMS IMU are used to realize the real-time heading attitude system. Second, level attitude (pitch and roll) is determined using the method of frequency-velocity for the feedback control. At the same time, the method using the attitude based on MEMS IMU to help determination of the range of ambiguity search is proposed. The results done on the sea show that an alternative means to provide real-time, cost-effective, accurate and reliable attitude information for attitude surveys. Though motivated by a big ships application, the design can be applied to other vehicles.

  • In this paper, an improved method of fault indicator generation algorithm in FRTUs is proposed for the present Distribution Automation System. In order to find fault area, correct FI information should be generated. But when a single line-to-ground fault occurs, FI information is generated in downside of the fault in some circumstance because existing FI algorithm considers only magnitude. It is found that the upside fault current direction if different from the downside fault current direction. Therefore, in order to prevent to generate the wrong fault indication information for FRTU at the downside of the fault, an improved fault indication generation method is developed. Not only the basic conditions are taken into account, but also the directions from the angle difference between zero and positive sequence currents are considered to generated the fault indication information. In case study, the proposed method has been testified and shown the reasonability in generating correct the fault indication information, for many kinds of faults according to conditions.

  • In this paper a feasible way toward the automation for plate forming by line heating method is proposed. For this a mechanical model representing the line heating phenomenon is adopted and a reasonable algorithm is introduced to search the heating path under the given heating conditions, which can produce the surface very similar to the given surface. A computer program system has been developed according to the proposed algorithm here. It has been applied to two curved shapes to show its validity. From the results it has been found that the proposed algorithm and the developed computer program system give a good result and can be a possible way getting to the automation system of plate forming by the line heating method.

Case-Related News Filtering via Topic-Enhanced Positive-Unlabeled Learning

  • Case-related news filtering is crucial in legal text mining and divides news into case-related and case-unrelated categories. Because case-related news originates from various fields and has different writing styles, it is difficult to establish complete filtering rules or keywords for data collection. In addition, the labeled corpus for case-related news is sparse; therefore, to train a high-performance classification model, it is necessary to annotate the corpus. To address this challenge, we propose topic-enhanced positive-unlabeled learning, which selects positive and negative samples guided by topics. Specifically, a topic model based on a variational autoencoder (VAE) is trained to extract topics from unlabeled samples. By using these topics in the iterative process of positive-unlabeled (PU) learning, the accuracy of identifying case-related news can be improved. From the experimental results, it can be observed that the F1 value of our method on the test set is 1.8% higher than that of the PU learning baseline model. In addition, our method is more robust with low initial samples and high iterations, and compared with advanced PU learning baselines such as nnPU and I-PU, we obtain a 1.1% higher F1 value, which indicates that our method can effectively identify case-related news.

  • In this paper, the 3-D measurement method of moving object with a laser and one camera system for image processing method is presented. The method of segmentation image in conventional method, the error are generated by the threshold values. In this paper, to improve these problem for segmentation image, the calculation of weighting factor using brightness distribution by histogram of stored images are proposed. Therefore the image erosion and spread are improved, the correct and reliable informations can be measured. In this paper, the system of 3-D extracting information using the proposed algorithm can be applied to manufactory automation, building automation, security guard system, and detecting information system for all of the industry areas.

  • As IEC 61850 based substation automation technology is emerging globally, there are many efforts to implement and apply this IEC 61850 standard to substation automation area. IEC 61850 based substation supports ethernet network, standard data model and SCL(substation Configuration Language), etc. These features can provide enough environment to make applied technology which can substitute the legacy relay trip logic configuration method(PLC or Local area reconstruction) to XML based configuration method. This paper suggests new IED trip logic configuration method. The XML based trip logic configuration method can be established using SCL technology And IED trip logic reconfiguration from remote center can be possible under ethernet based technology

  • An excellent mesh construction is of Importance in yielding good results of finite element analysis. The new mesh generation algorithm, which offsets boundaries inward, was developed on the basis of a looping method. An user interface technique and automatic splitting lines which both divide a given domain into subdomains manually or automatically, were used. In addition, the separation method has advantages to prevent the large scale of element size and to control numbers of nodes and elements. This new mesh generation algorithm was proved in practice.
