뉴럴 네트워크와 시뮬레이티드 어닐링법을 하이브리드 탐색 형식으로 이용한 어패럴 패턴 자동배치 프로그램에 관한 연구 (Study on Hybrid Search Method Using Neural Network and Simulated Annealing Algorithm for Apparel Pattern Layout Design)

  • Pattern layout design is very important to the automation of apparel industry. Until now, the genetic algorithm and Tabu search method have been applied to layout design automation. With the genetic algorithm and Tabu search method, the obtained values are not always consistent depending on the initial conditions, number of iterations, and scheduling. In addition, the selection of various parameters for these methods is not easy. This paper presents a hybrid search method that uses a neural network and simulated annealing to solve these problems. The layout of pattern elements was optimized to verify the potential application of the suggested method to apparel pattern layout design.

  • This paper deals with the optimum high pressure control algorithm for a transcritical $CO_2$ mobile air-conditioning system with belt-driven compressor to achieve the maximum COP. The experiments were performed to find out the maximum COP conditions with various operating conditions. The experimental results showed that the COP was increased and then decreased with increase of the refrigerant high pressure for the system. Therefore the value of high pressure which has maximum COP could be selected. Furthermore, the strong (linear) relation between the optimum high pressure and the gas cooler outlet temperature was revealed, which suggests the use of a simple controller with only one parameter for the transcritical $CO_2$ cycle.

  • A new approach to $H_{\infty}$ multi-step prediction is developed by applying the innovation analysis theory. Although the predictor is derived by resorting to state augmentation, nevertheless, it is completely different from the previous works with state augmentation. The augmented state here is considered just as a theoretical mathematic tool for deriving the estimator. A distributed algorithm for the Riccati equation of the augmented system is presented. By using the reorganized innovation analysis, calculation of the estimator does not require any augmentation. A numerical example demonstrates the effect in reducing computing burden.

  • An image reconstruction algorithm is vital for the image quality of a photonic integrated interferometric imaging (PIII) system. However, image reconstruction algorithms have limitations that always lead to degraded image reconstruction. In this paper, a novel image reconstruction algorithm based on deep learning is proposed. Firstly, the principle of optical signal transmission through the PIII system is investigated. A dataset suitable for image reconstruction of the PIII system is constructed. Key aspects such as model and loss functions are compared and constructed to solve the problem of image blurring and noise influence. By comparing it with other algorithms, the proposed algorithm is verified to have good reconstruction results not only qualitatively but also quantitatively.

  • 최근 항공교통량의 증가에 따라 효율적인 항공교통관제를 위한 자동화가 요구되고 있다. 항공교통 환경은 일반 교통 환경과는 다르게 공역내의 섹터에 대한 항공기를 제어하는 관제사가 존재하며, 타 섹터로 이동시에는 해당 항공기에 대해 수동으로 관제권을 이양하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 효율적인 항공관제를 위하여 항공기의 흐름을 유연하게 하기 위한 자동 관제권 이양 알고리즘 기법을 연구하였다. 항공기가 섹터 내에서 다른 섹터로 진입을 할 때, 이를 감지하여 해당 섹터 관제사가 관제 권한을 부여 받을 수 있도록 하는 섹터 판별 알고리즘을 구현 하였다 성능평가 결과 기존의 단순한 수동관제 이양방식과 달리 제안된 알고리즘은 자동으로 관제권을 이양하도록 함으로써 효율적으로 항공교통관제를 할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Design of an Algorithm for the Validation of SCL in Digital Substations

  • The substation is a critical node in the power network where power is transformed in the power generation, transmission and distribution system. The IEC 61850 is a global standard which proposes efficient substation automation by defining interoperable communication and data modelling techniques. In order to achieve this level of interoperability and automation, the IEC 61850 (Part 6) defines System Configuration description Language (SCL). The SCL is an XML based file format for defining the abstract model of primary and secondary substation equipment, communications systems and also the relationship between them. It enables the interoperable exchange of data during substation engineering by standardizing the description of applications at different stages of the engineering process. To achieve the seamless interoperability, multi-vendor devices are required to adhere completely to the IEC 61850. This paper proposes an efficient algorithm required for verifying the interoperability of multi-vendor devices by checking the adherence of the SCL file to specifications of the standard. Our proposed SCL validation algorithm consists of schema validation and other functionalities including information model validation using UML data model, the Vendor Defined Extension model validation, the User Defined Rule validation and the IED Engineering Table (IET) consistency validation. It also integrates the standard UCAIUG (Utility Communication Architecture International Users Group) Procedure validation for quality assurance testing. Our proposed algorithm is not only flexible and efficient in terms of ensuring interoperable functionality of tested devices, it is also convenient for use by system integrators and test engineers.

인공위성의 동역학과 토크 외란을 고려한 큐브위성의 식 기간 자세추정 (Attitude determination of cubesat during eclipse considering the satellite dynamics and torque disturbance)

  • 인공위성의 자세추정은 결정론적 방법과 재귀적인 방법으로 나눌 수 있는데, 이 중 재귀적인 방법으로는 칼만 필터를 사용하여 자세를 추정하는 알고리즘이 널리 사용되고 있다. 초소형 큐브 위성의 경우 많은 탑재체를 실을 수 없기에 최소한의 자세 센서만을 이용해야 하는 제한점이 있다. 미션에 따라 식 기간 및 태양 센서의 데이터 이용이 불가능할 때에도 인공위성의 자세추정은 계속 되어야 인공위성은 임무를 성공적으로 완수할 수 있게 된다. 본 연구에서는 일반적인 인공위성의 자세추정 기법을 기반으로 큐브위성의 동역학과 토크외란을 고려하여 알고리즘을 발전시켜 식 기간에서도 더욱 정확한 자세 추정이 가능하도록 하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존의 자세추정 방법과 비교하여 그 성능을 검증하였다. 또한 위성체가 우주 환경에서 운용되면서 받을 수 있는 다양한 크기의 토크외란에 따른 자세추정 오차를 분석하였다.

  • 영상처리는 자동화, 인공지능 시스템에서 물체 추적, 객체 인식 및 분류와 같은 중요한 부분을 담당하고 있으며, IoT 기술과 자동화의 관심이 높아짐에 따라 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 하지만 영상의 경계선과 같이 세밀한 데이터가 요구되는 시스템에서는 정밀한 잡음제거 알고리즘이 요구되고 있으나, 기존 알고리즘은 필터링 과정에서 블러링 현상이 강하게 나타나는 단점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 필터링 과정의 정보손실을 최소화하기 위해 화소값 분포패턴에 기반한 필터링 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 입력영상의 화소값에 대해 이웃한 화소값의 분포패턴을 구한다. 그리고 분포패턴을 바탕으로 가중치 마스크를 계산하며, 필터링 마스크에 적용하여 최종출력을 계산한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 기존 방법에 비해 잡음제거 특성이 우수하였으며, 블러링 현상을 최소화하며 영상을 복원하였다.

Fault-Tolerant Control for 5L-HNPC Inverter-Fed Induction Motor Drives with Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control Based on Hierarchical Optimization

  • This paper proposes a fault-tolerant control strategy with finite control set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) based on hierarchical optimization for five-level H-bridge neutral-point-clamped (5L-HNPC) inverter-fed induction motor drives. Fault-tolerant operation is analyzed, and the fault-tolerant control algorithm is improved. Adopting FCS-MPC based on hierarchical optimization, where the voltage is used as the controlled objective, called model predictive voltage control (MPVC), the postfault controller is simplified as a two layer control. The first layer is the voltage jump limit, and the second layer is the voltage following control, which adopts the optimal control strategy to ensure the current following performance and uniqueness of the optimal solution. Finally, simulation and experimental results verify that 5L-HNPC inverter-fed induction motor drives have strong fault tolerant capability and that the FCS-MPVC based on hierarchical optimization is feasible.

  • In this paper, it is shown that chaotic nonlinear chemical process can be controlled based on the Poincare map based control algorithm. An isothermal autocatalytic CSTR, which has chaotic dynamics, is successfully controlled and period 2 orbit is generated in a normal chaotic region with small perturbation of the control parameter.
