대퇴의족의 자동 보행 모드 변경을 위한 랜덤 포레스트 기반 추정 모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Random Forest-based Estimation Model for Changing the Automatic Walking Mode of Above Knee Prosthesis)

  • 의족의 자동 보행 모드 변경 알고리즘 개발에는 주로 사용되는 패턴 인식 또는 퍼지 추론 기법을 이용하지만 즉각적인 보행 환경 변화에는 대응하기 어렵다는 단점을 가진다. 이러한 한계점을 해결하고자 본 논문에서는 한 보행 주기 내 특정 보행단계에서의 보행 환경 추정을 통해 다음 걸음의 보행 모드를 자동으로 변환하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 마이크로 컨트롤러 내에 이식되어 운용되어야 하므로 계산량과 추정 소요 시간을 고려하여 랜덤포레스트 기반을 사용하여 개발하였다. 개발된 랜덤포레스트 기반의 보행 단계 및 환경 추정 모델은 마이크로 컨트롤러 내에 이식되어 유효성 평가를 진행하였다.

  • Shape Memory Alloy(SMA) actuators, which have the ability to return to a predetermined shape when heated, have many potential applications such as aeronautics, surgical tools, robotics and so on. Although the conventional PID controller can be used with slow response systems, there has been limited success in precise motion control of SMA actuators, since the systems are disturbed by unknown factors beside their inherent nonlinear hysteresis and changes in the surrounding environment of the systems. This paper presents a new development of a SMA position control system by using a self-tuning fuzzy PID controller. This control algorithm is used by tuning the parameters of the PID controller thereby integrating fuzzy inference and producing a fuzzy adaptive PID controller, which can then be used to improve the control performance of nonlinear systems. The experimental results of position control of SMA actuators using conventional and self-tuning fuzzy PID controllers are both included in this paper.

  • 컴퓨터를 활용한 제어 기술이 발달함에 따라 무인화 시스템이 증가하고 있는 현실이다. 이 논문에서는 현재 많은 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있는 무인화 시스템들 중의 하나인 무인 자동 주차 시스템을 위한 기법을 제안하고 시뮬레이션 실험을 통하여 그 가능성을 보였다. 제안한 자동 주차 시스템에서는 센서 정보를 입력으로 하고 퍼지 함수에 의한 추론 결과를 활용하여 조향 장치를 제어하는 방식을 제안하였다. 성능 평가를 위하여 그래픽 시뮬레이션 환경을 구축하고 제안한 기법을 이용한 가상자동차의 주차 과정을 보였으며 그 결과를 분석하였다.

스마트폰의 UI/UX 향상을 위한 상황인식 프레임워크 개발 및 응용 (Context-aware Framework and Applications for Improving UI and UX of Smartphones)

  • With the recent advance in smartphones, users are allowed to use mobile applications anytime anywhere, and change their way to interact with smart environment and people. As a result, the need for developing context-aware applications on smartphones has a great attention from users and developers. This paper proposes a context-aware framework for supporting UI/UX of smartphones. The proposed framework collects a wide range of sensory data from smartphones and allows developers to analyze and model context models for their desired apps. In addition, it also supports real-time inference within the apps to make them to adapt to context. In order to show effectiveness of the proposed framework, we introduce two smartphone apps: context-aware home screen and automatic detection of smartphone problem use. Therefore, we expect that the proposed framework will help developers easily implement their apps with respect to context-awareness.

범용의 퍼지 하드웨어 설계 (A Design of the General-Purpose Fuzzy Hardware)

  • Recently the fuzzy control is widely used as a tool for constructing automatic control systems which can replace the manual operation of large-scale nonlinear plants. In most applications of the fuzzy control however it is hard to meet the requirement of the operation time. In some real-time control the fuzzy control scheme requires too much computing time for fuzzification inference and defuzzification. To reduce the computing time there may be two alternatives the development of a new operation algorithm and the design of high-speed fuzzy hardware. In this paper to solve the problem of reducing the fuzzy operation time we propose a new high-speed fuzzy hardware scheme which has merits of its generality and extensibility. Finally we verify the proposed fuzzy hardware.

퍼지를 이용한 해태건조기용 자동 온도${\cdot}$습도 제어시스템 (The Automatic Temperature and Humidity Control System for Laver Drying Machine Using Fuzzy)

  • The look up table method conventionally applied to control the inner temperature and humidity of a laver drying machine has repeatedly occurred not only laver's damage but also inferior goods since the reaching time at the optimum state takes a long time. In this paper, a fuzzy control theory instead of the look up table was proposed to reduce the reaching time at the optimum state. The proposed method used six input variables and four output variables for the fuzzy control, and a triangle rule for a fuzzifier, The Mandani's min-max method was applied to a fuzzy inference. Also, the mean method of maximum was applied to a defuzzifier. The method applied to the fuzzy controller contributed to reduce the reaching time at the optimum state, and to minimize not only laver's damage but also inferior goods.

  • 자동운전과 안전운전 구현을 위한 첨단 차량 및 도로 시스템(AVHS : Advanced Vehicle & Highway Systems)의 한 분야인 충돌 방지 시스템을 완성하기 위해서는 차량간의 상대 거리, 차량의 속도, 차선의 굴곡 정도, 경사도등을 사용해서 종합적으로 상황 판단을 내려야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이들 요소들중에서 차선의 굴곡도 판단을 근사 추론을 이용하여 실험하였다. 근사추론을 이용한 것은 차선의 굴곡도를 계산형으로 파악할 때의 단점인 계산 시간 오버헤드(overhead), 또 그에 따른 실시간 처리의 어려움, 고가의 장비필요성 등을 극복하기 위해서이며, 실험은 Fuzzy Logical Inference 기법을 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 실제 도로상에서의 계산된 굴곡도와 실험된 시스템 결과와의 유사성과 그 시스템의 사용 가용성(feasibility)을 검정하였다.

  • In recent years, shipping at the sea has been rapidly grown in marine nations and vessel's collisions are increasing as well. The collision avoidance is one of issues maritime safety. To reduce vessels' collisions, the fuzzy inference system is one of popular algorithms for collision avoidance. In this paper we aim to implement Matlab. Fuzzy logic toolbox software for collision avoidance algorithm. For this we used an original Matlab fuzzy logic toolbox and customized the toolbox for the collision avoidance algorithm.

  • The automatic determination of vehicle operation status as well as continuous tracking of vehicle location with intelligent management is one of major elements to achieve the goals. Especially, vehicle operation status can only be analyzed in terms of expert experiences with real-time location data with scheduling information. However the scheduling information of individual vehicle is very difficult to be interpreted immediately because there are hundreds of thousand vehicles are run at the same time in the national wide range workplace. In this paper, we propose the location-based knowledge management system(LKMs) using the active trajectory analysis method with routing and scheduling information to cope with the problems. This system uses an inference technology with dispatching and geographic information to generate the logistics knowledge that can be furnished to the manager in the central vehicle monitoring and controlling center.

  • The development of automatic production system have required intelligent diagnostic and monitoring function to repair system failure and reduce production loss by the failure. In order to perform accurate functions of intelligent system, inference about total system failure and fault analysis due to each mechanical component failures are required. Also the solution about repair and maintenance can be suggested from these analysis results. Generally, bearing is a essential mechanical component in the machinery. The bearing failure is caused by lubricant system failure, metallurgical defficiency, mechanical condition(vibration overloading misalignment), environmental effect. This study described roller bearing fault train due to stress variation and metallurgical defficiency from lubricant failure by using FTA.
