자동유량측정에 의한 한강대교 조석영향 분석 (Analysis of Tidal Effect in Hangang Bridge by Automatic Discharge Measurement)

  • 한강대교지점은 조석의 영향을 받고 노들섬으로 인해 흐름이 나누어지는 특수한 지형조건을 가지고 있으며, 홍수예보지점이고 한강유역의 유출량을 분석하는 대표지점이기도 하다. 따라서 정확한 수위-유량관계를 도출하기 위하여 많은 노력을 기울였으나 조석의 영향을 받지 않는 홍수기 이외의 기간에 대한 정확도의 확보가 곤란하였다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 대책으로 최근 자동유량측정에 관한 연구가 진행되었고, 실무에 적용되어 한강대교지점에서 실시간 유량자료의 획득이 가능하게 되었다. 한강대교지점에는 남단(노량진방향)과 북단(용산방향)에 2대의 자동유량측정 시설을 설치하여 운영하고 있다. 수중에 설치된 도플러방식 수평초음파유속계(H-ADCP)가 23개 각도로 회전하며 10분마다 단면의 유속자료를 생산하고, Chiu의 유속분포(Chiu, 1988)를 이용하여 유량을 계산한다. 본 고에서는 자동으로 측정된 성과와 기존의 유량측정 방법에 의한 성과를 비교하였으며, 월별 유출량에 대한 분석결과를 제시하였다.

  • Accurate river discharge is the most important factor in managing river basins and for successfully maintaining total maximum daily loads in Korea. It is not easy to measure the discharge directly in large rivers owing to physical and environmental constraints, even after investing much time and money. Recently, to overcome these historical drawbacks in river discharge measurement, we have developed the Automatic Discharge Acquisition & Management System (ADAMS) that scans the river cross-section and measures each cell $(1m{\times}1m)$ velocity using HADCP. The hardware system is composed of an HADCP sensor and winch, as well as a PC and software system for the discharge calculation module and hardware control module. It is controlled remotely via the internet and uses the velocity-depth integration method and the velocity-contour method for calculating river discharges. The characteristics of ADAMS are a ubiquitously accessible system, featuring real time automatic discharge measurement, remote control via the internet. The results using ADAMS at the Jindong stage site show less than 5% uncertainty and are 4 times more efficient than the ADCP & Q-boat system. This system can be used to measure any large river, river mouth or tributary river affected by backwater, all of which have a very difficult measuring real time discharge. The next generation of ADAMS will feature an upgrade to increase portability and GPS integration.

  • This paper presents a methodology for determining machining conditions in Electric Discharge Wire-Cut. Unification of two phase neural network approach with an automatic generation of machining parameters is designed. The first phase neural network, which is 1 to M backward-mapping neural net, produces approximate machining conditions. Using approximate conditions, all possible conditions are newly created by the proposed automatic generation procedure. The second phase neural net, which is a M to 1 forward-mapping neural net, determines the best one among the generated candidates. Simulation results with ANN are given to verify that the presenting methodology could apply for determining machining parameters in Electric Discharge Wire-Cut.

논 비점오염 저감을 위한 담수위 관리와 배출수 여과의 효과 분석 (Management of Ponding Depth and Discharge Filtration from Paddy Fields for Controlling Non-point Source Pollution)

  • Field study was carried out to assess the effect of automatic inlet and filtration outlet to reduce non-point source discharge and save agricultural irrigation water from paddy. The comparison of control and treated plots showed that irrigation water was saved up to 58 mm and discharge water was reduced up to 110 mm. The filtration outlet improved the discharge water quality for SS, COD, TN and TP up to 60.1 %, 0.1 %, 4.5 %, and 26.0 %, respectively. Overall, the findings of this study indicated that non-point source pollution discharged from paddy fields where automatic inlet and filtration outlet were installed could be reduced 266.3 kg/ha/yr in SS, 10.3 kg/ha/yr in COD, 1.22 kg/ha/yr in TN, and 0.10 kg/ha/yr in TP, respectively. This clearly showed that the automatic inlet and filtration outlet are effective management method for saving of agricultural water and protecting water environment.

  • 본 논문에서는 합류부 배수영향을 받는 지점에서 유량을 산정할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 먼저, 최근 2개의 홍수사상에 대한 HEC-RAS 부정류 모의를 수행하여 모형을 보정하였으며, 관심구간 상하류 수위와 유량과의 관계 그래프를 작성하고 크리깅 보간을 수행함으로써 HPG (Hydraulic Performance Graph)를 작성하였다. 대상 홍수기간 동안 HPG와 상하류 연속 수위 자료를 이용하여 구간 유량을 산정하였고, ADVM 같은 자동유량측정 자료와 비교하여 비교적 잘 일치하는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과는 수위-유량 관계곡선의 이력현상이 큰 배수영향 구간에서 유량을 산정하는데 경제적이고 실용적인 방법을 제공할 것이다.

  • ADC(Automatic Discharge Connector) is commonly used for the easy maintenance of the submersible pumps. However, the small gap between the flange of the base plate and that of the pipe due to the head rise, the flow momentum change and the mis-installation makes leakage flow that may be a great loss to the pumping system. In this study, the performance degradation was predicted with the simple leakage flow model through the gap. The newly developed ADC was tested and the leakage performance was compared with the old one and also no-leakage piping system. The newly developed ADC reduced the leakage flow in a satisfactory way in comparison with the old model.

  • In the design of an RF discharge system, the electrical equivalence of the gas discharge must be known. With this knowledge, one can design a suitable matching network for a maximum power transfer from the RF generator into the discharge. For this purpose, an experiment has been conducted in which the electrical impedance (conductance and capacitance) was determined as a function of power. In parallel with this, a detailed theoretical analysis has been done and the results are in accord with those of our experiment. Design equations are also given for a simple matching network, and a design example is presented to demonstrate its application. During the actual operation of an RF discharge system, however, it has been often observed that the reflected power tends to vary in small values due to the changes in the impedance of the system. This problem can be relieved by adding an automatic impedance matching circuit to the system and this paper presents such an automatic impedance matching network.

  • This study was performed to develop an automatic sacking device for the combine harvester which was constituted input/output signal system, controller, delivery device, shooting device, pneumatic system for shooting operation, vibration device fer sacking operation and a new developed sacking bag. A new developed automatic sacking device and new sacking bag were operated well in general. And they were possible to develop a new combine to reduce of fatigue, to improve the safety and the performance. In developed device, The optimum delivery velocity of conveyer for sacking was 5.16 mm/sec. In sacking device, sacking discharge was shown 94% with non-vibration condition and sacking discharge was shown 99% with vibration condition, respectively.

환경오염의 방지시설의 운영에 관한 실태조사 (A Study on the Wastewater and Air Pollution, Noise and Vibration Management and Discharge Control at the Industries)

  • 510 random samples were studied during the months of may through November 1985 at the various industries and conclustions were made as follows; 1. $43.94\%$ of the plants studied operated their plants with semiautomatic control system, and better efficiency were observed at the plants where automatic control systems emplorid and also large industries showed more tendency adopting the automatic plant control system. 2. Overall efficiency of the treatment plants were seen much higher at the first and secand discharge class categories then the lower discharge classes, $80.79\%$ of the plants were see their daily plant operation being controlled by the operator himself. 3. The main causes of the plant stopage and in efficient discharge control were found to be malfunctioning of the plants machineries and equipment or inadequate decision made by the management to save chemicals or electricity. 4. The study showed $60\%$ of the industry treated their wastwater wholly and the rest discharged only with dilution without receiving any further treatment, and this tendency pronounced at the 4th and 5th class discharge category industries. 5. $66.17\%$ of the industry had their storage capacity to accommodate the waste discharge during plants outage while $92.67\%$ of the air pollution discharge industries had no means for the plant outage. 6. $56.77\%$ of the studied industry maintained 24 hour operation of their discharge control systems whill $18.67\%$ of air pollution discharge industries and $10.53\%$ of the waste water discharge industries showed no control effort during the night.
