전기제품의 프로그레시브 가공을 위한 공정설계 자동화 시스템 (An Automated Process Planning System for Progressive Working of Electric Products)

  • This paper describes a research work of developing automated progressive process planning system for working electric products. An approach to the CAD system in based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge for the CAD system is formulated from plasticity theories experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. The system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD with a personal computer and is composed of three main modules which are input and shape treatment flat pattern layout and strip layout module. Based on knowledge-based rules the system is design by considering several factors such as radius and angle of bend material and thickness of product complexities of blank geometry and punch profile bending sequence and availability of press. Strip layout drawing automatically generated by piercing with punch profiles divided into for external area is simulated in 3-D graphic forms including bending sequences for the product with piercing and bending. Results obtained using the modules enable the manufacture of electronic products to be more efficient in this field.

  • 굴삭기는 다양한 산업 분야에서 폭넓게 이용되고 있는 대표적인 장비임에도 불구하고 작업 환경은 매우 열악하여 굴삭 조종자는 각종 소음이나 진동, 분진에의 노출뿐만 아니라 산업재해의 위험성 또한 높다. 이러한 문제점들을 타개하기 위하여 현재 국내에서는 2006년부터 지능형굴삭시스템(Intelligent Excavating System)에 의한 자동화된 굴삭기의 개발을 위하여 연구를 진행 중에 있다. 자동화 굴삭시스템 구축에 있어서 센싱(sensing)을 통해 획득된 지형 및 주변 환경정보를 활용하여 숙련공의 휴리스틱스(heuristics)를 바탕으로 설계된 모듈을 통해 최적의 굴삭 작업 계획을 세우고, GUI (Graphic User Interface)를 제공하여 실시간 작업진행 상태 파악 및 모니터링(monitoring) 내용을 굴삭기 조종자와 공사 감독관에게 제공하는 Task Planning System의 개발은 생산성, 안전성, 작업의 품질 및 장비의 성능에도 지대한 영향을 미치며 자동화된 굴삭시스템을 개발함에 있어서 필수적으로 요구되어지는 핵심기술이다. 본 논문에서는 자동화 굴삭시스템을 위한 자동화 계획생성 시스템인 Task Planning System의 현재까지 진행된 연구 내용과 모니터링 및 작업에 대한 최소간섭을 위한 Task Planning System Interface를 소개한다.

  • 본 연구는 모의개체로 하여금 동적행위연결을 통한 목적지향 행위계획을 수행토록 하는 기법의 구현사례로서 재계획기법을 소개한다. 기존의 행위처리기법, 특히 Semi-Automated Forces (SAF)에서는 모의 초기에 주어진 정해진 계획을 단순히 수행하는 수준에서 크게 벗어나지 않는다. 따라서 인간의 판단 같은 예측불허 상황이 발생하는 (Human in the loop) 모의에서 기존 기법은 상황대처에 미흡하다. 또한 그러한 기법은 돌발상황 대응을 위한 광범위한 경우의 수를 고려하다보면 행위조합 폭증 문제를 겪을 수 있으며, 그러한 조합이 상황에 부합하지 않을 수 있다. 재계획기법은 역전파(back-propagation)를 활용, 목표달성을 위해 필요한 행위들을 검색, 연계하는 자동계획기법 구현사례이다. 이 기법은 행위에 태그(pre/post-conditions)를 부여, 동적으로 행위들을 연결한다. 본 논문은 기법의 실효성 입증을 위해 국방분야의 연구과제에 적용된 성과를 소개한다.

Optimal design of multi-former die set by the techniques of horizontal split

  • This paper deals with an automated computer-aided process planning and die design system by which designer can determine operation sequences even if they have a little experience in process planning and die design for axisymmetric products. An attempt is made to link programs incorporating a number of expert design rules with the process variables obtained by commercial FEM softwares, DEFORM and ANSYS, to form a useful package. The system can provide a flexible process based on either the reduction in the number of forming sequences by combining the possible two processes in sequence, or the reduction of deviation of the distribution on the level of the required forming loads by controlling the forming ratios. Especially in die design module optimal design technique and horizontal split of die insert were investigated for determining appropriate dimensions of components of multi-former die set. Results obtained, using the modules, enable the design and manufacture of a die set for a multi-former to be more efficiently performed.

  • 복잡하고 다원화되어 있는 재택건강관리 계획 모델링을 계층적 작업 네트워크 계획을 기반으로 설계하여 분산 네트워크의 성능을 최대한으로 활용한 자동화 계획 설계를 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 SHOP라는 계층적 작업 도구를 이용하여 응급, 주의, 비정상, 정상과 같은 4가지 시나리오 모델에 따른 맞춤형 건강관리 계획 설계를 구현하여 재택건강관리 시스템의 상태분류에 대한 보조 의사 결정 도구로써 적용하였다.

  • This paper describes some research works of computer-aided design of blanking and piercing for stator and rotor parts and irregularly shaped sheet metal by press. An approach to the system is based on knowledge based rules. The process planning system by considering a blank layout for nesting of irregularly shaped sheet metal and an improved strip layout for stator and rotor parts and irregularly shaped sheet metal is implemented. Using this system, design parameters(utilization ratio, slitting width, pitch, working order, die blank shapes) are determined and output is generated in graphic forms. Knowledges for blank layout and strip layout are extracted from the plasticity theories, handbooks, relevant references and empirical know-hows of experts in blanking companies. The implemented system provides powerful capabilities for process planning of stator and rotor parts and irregularly shaped sheet metal.

  • This paper deals with the development of a computer aided fixture planning system that automatically selects set-ups, set-up sequence and fixture design for prismatic parts. This study presents the hierarchical data structure for feature-based part model and the preprocessing procedure for the proposed system. The preprocessing procedure generates tools such as DDR(Degree of Dimensional Relationship), AMV(Admissible Misalignment Value) and the datum reference frame of each feature according to the proposed decision table. The proposed system is called AFIX(Automated FIXture planning system) which is implemented by using C language on the workstation. A case study for a cavity plate is presented to show the performance of the AFM.

  • Flexible Manufacturing System(FMS) is an integrated, computer controlled complex of automated material handling devices and numerically controlled machine tools that can simultaneously process medium-sized volumes of a variety of part types. This paper discusses planning problems that can be solved for efficient use of an FMS and present an integrated decision support system for FMS production planning and scheduling problems. FMSDS(Flexible Manufacturing Systems Decision Support System) consists of data handling modules, part selection module, loading module, load adjusting module, scheduling module and simulation module etc. This paper presents the solution methodology of each subproblems and integrated interfaces between subproblems using hierarchical approaches and loop controls considering the relationships between subproblems. A case study by this model is presented.

사례기반 추론방법을 이용한 치공구의 선정 (Fixture Planning Using Case-Based Reasoning)

  • The aim of this research is the development of an automated fixture planning system for prismatic parts using the case-based reasoning (CBR). CBR is the problem solving paradigm that uses the similarity between a new problem and old cases to solve the new problem. This research uses CBR for the fixture planning. A case is composed with the information of the part, the components of fixture and the method of fixing for the part. The basic procedure is the retrieval and adaptation for the case, and this research presents the method of retrieval that selects most similar case to the new situation. The retrieval-step is divided into an index matching and an aggregated matching. The adaptation is accomplished by the modification, which transforms the selected case to the solution of the situation of the input part by the specified CBR algorithm. The components of fixture and the method of fixing are determined for a new part by the procedure.
