Social engineering attack means to get information of Social engineering attack means to get information of opponent without technical attack or to induce opponent to provide information directly. In particular, social engineering does not approach opponents through technical attacks, so it is difficult to prevent all attacks with high-tech security equipment. Each company plans employee education and social training as a countermeasure to prevent social engineering. However, it is difficult for a security officer to obtain a practical education(training) effect, and it is also difficult to measure it visually. Therefore, to measure the social engineering threat, we use the results of social engineering training result to calculate the risk by system asset and propose a attack graph based probability. The security officer uses the results of social engineering training to analyze the security threats by asset and suggests a framework for quick security response. Through the framework presented in this paper, we measure the qualitative social engineering threats, collect system asset information, and calculate the asset risk to generate probability based attack graphs. As a result, the security officer can graphically monitor the degree of vulnerability of the asset's authority system, asset information and preferences along with social engineering training results. It aims to make it practical for companies to utilize as a key indicator for establishing a systematic security strategy in the enterprise.

As the IT industry developed, the information held by the company soon became a corporate asset. As this information has value as an asset, the number and scale of various cyber attacks which targeting enterprises and institutions is increasing day by day. Therefore, research are being carried out to protect the assets from cyber attacks by using the attack graph to identify the possibility and risk of various attacks in advance and prepare countermeasures against the attacks. In the attack graph, security metric is used as a measure for determining the importance of each asset or the risk of an attack. This is a key element of the attack graph used as a criterion for determining which assets should be protected first or which attack path should be removed first. In this survey, we research trends of various security metrics used in attack graphs and classify the research according to application viewpoints, use of CVSS(Common Vulnerability Scoring System), and detail metrics. Furthermore, we discussed how to graft the latest security technologies, such as MTD(Moving Target Defense) or SDN(Software Defined Network), onto the attack graphs.

Zhang et al. proposed a improved fast correlation attack on stream ciphers at SAC'08[8]. This attack is based on the fast correlation attack proposed at Crypto'00 and combined with FWT(fast Walsh transform). Given various attack environments, they presented complexities and success probabilities of the proposed attack algorithm. However, we found that our simulation results of the proposed attack algorithm are different from them presented in [8]. In this paper, we correct results of the proposed attack algorithm by analyzing it theoretically. And we propose a threshold of valid bias.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore, extract and categorize the team's tactical factors in soccer matches. Tactical factors are extracted on the basis of the phases consisting a football match (attack, defense, attacking transition, and defensive transition). Research design, data, and methodology: A semi-structural interviews were conducted with a group of experts of five football managers and coaches to explore tactical factors. Analysis of the content was done using a categorical aggregation or direct interpretation, and then was conducted factorial extraction and categorization. Results: In the attack phase, a direct attack and a step-by-step (occupation) attack form the type of attack, and in the attack transition phase, a long counter attack and a short counter attack form the type of attack. The type of defense in the defense phase was divided into regional defense and compression defense, and the type of defense in the defense transition phase was divided into defense for delaying counterattacks and defense for immediate pressure. Each tactics appeared differently depending on the situation of the game and the play of style. Conclusions: It may indicate the team's performance and has the potential for being used as a team performance factor. Further implications were discussed.

As optical network technology advances and high bandwidth Internet is demanded for the exponential growth of internet traffic volumes, the Dense-Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) networks have been widely accepted as a promising approach to the Next Generation Optical Internet (NGOI) backbone networks for nation wide or global coverage. Important issues in the NGOI based on DWDM networks are the Routing and Wavelength Assignment(RWA) problem and survivability. Especially, fault/attack detection, localization and recovery schemes in All Optical Transport Network(AOTN) is one of the most important issues because a short service disruption in DWDM networks carrying extremely high data rates causes loss of vast traffic volumes. In this paper, we suggest a fault/attack management model for NGOI through analyzing fault/attack vulnerability of various optical backbone network devices and propose fault/attack recovery procedure considering Extended-LMP(Link Management Protocol) and RSVP-TE+(Resource Reservation Protocol-Traffic Engineering) as control protocols in IP/GMPLS over DWDM.

It is known that power analysis is one of the most powerful attack in side channel analysis. Among power analysis single trace attack is widely studied recently since it uses one power consumption trace to recover secret key of public cryptosystem. Recently Sim et al. proposed new exponentiation algorithm for RSA cryptosystem with higher attack complexity to prevent single trace attack. In this paper we analyze the vulnerability of exponentiation algorithm described by Sim et al. Sim et al. applied message blinding and random exponentiation splitting method on $2^t-ary$ for higher attack complexity. However we can reveal private key using information exposed during pre-computation generation. Also we describe modified algorithm that provides higher attack complexity on collision attack. Proposed algorithm minimized the reuse of value that are used during exponentiation to provide security under single collision attack.

High-quality images have a lot of information, so sensitive data is stored by encryption for private company, military etc. Encrypted images can only be decrypted with a secret key, but the original data cannot be retained when attacked by the Shear attack and Noise pollution attack techniques that overwrite some pixel data with arbitrary values. Important data is the more necessary a countermeasure for the recovery method against attack. In this paper, we propose a random number generator PingPong256 and a shuffling method that rearranges pixels to resist Shear attack and Noise pollution attack techniques so that image and video encryption can be performed more quickly. Next, the proposed PingPong256 was examined with SP800-22, tested for immunity to various noises, and verified whether the image to which the shuffling method was applied satisfies the Anti-shear attack and the Anti-noise pollution attack.

In this paper, we analyze the authentication scheme of Hwang et al. proposed in 2023 and propose a new authentication scheme that improves its problems. Hwang et al. claimed that their authentication scheme was practical and secure, but as a result of analysis in this paper, it is possible to attack the password/ID guessing attack and session key disclosure attack due to insider attack and stolen smart card attack. In addition, Hwang et al.'s authentication scheme, which provides user anonymity, does not provide user untraceability due to its unstable design. The proposed authentication scheme, which improves these problems, not only provides user untraceability, but also is secure for stolen smart card attack, insider attack, session key disclosure attack, and replay attack. In addition, except for one fuzzy extraction operation, it shows the same complexity or very similar one as related authentication schemes. Therefore, the proposed authentication scheme can be said to be an authentication scheme with safety and practicality.

MANET has various types of attacks. In particular, routing attacks using characteristics of movement of nodes and wireless communication is the most threatening because all nodes which configure network perform a function of router which forwards packets. Therefore, mechanisms that detect routing attacks and defense must be applied. In this paper, we proposed hierarchical structure attack detection techniques in order to improve the detection ability against routing attacks. Black hole detection is performed using PIT for monitoring about control packets within cluster and packet information management on the cluster head. Flooding attack prevention is performed using cooperation-based distributed detection technique by member nodes. For this, member node uses NTT for information management of neighbor nodes and threshold whether attack or not receives from cluster head. The performance of attack detection could be further improved by calculating at regular intervals threshold considering the total traffic within cluster in the cluster head.
Nowadays, cloud computing is becoming more popular among companies. However, the characteristics of cloud computing such as a virtualized environment, constantly changing, possible to modify easily and multi-tenancy with a distributed nature, it is difficult to perform attack detection with traditional tools. This work proposes a solution which aims to collect traffic packets data by using Flume and filter them with Spark Streaming so it is possible to only consider suspicious data related to HTTP Slow Rate Denial-of-Service attacks and reduce the data that will be stored in Hadoop Distributed File System for analysis with the FP-Growth algorithm. With the proposed system, we also aim to address the difficulties in attack detection in cloud environment, facilitating the data collection, reducing detection time and enabling an almost real-time attack detection.
