The objective of the study is to investigate the influence of aesthetic attributes on user interface design. Theories of aesthetics are first studied from which aesthetic attributes are defined as information sources. Representation of a product is viewed as a combination of aesthetic attributes, based on a hypothesis that each attribute has a certain influence on the performance in terms of user interface. An experiment was conducted to support the hypothesis. Various combinations of aesthetic attributes of a microwave oven were generated from the orthogonal array of a conjoint analysis. Subjects perfomed on a computer two types of tasks, each of which simulated a combination of attributes. Reaction time was evaluated as a performance measure for the conjoint analysis to find out how much influence each attribute has on the performance. A computer program, UISA(User interface Simulation system of Aesthetic attributes0, was developed and used for simulation. Findings on the influences of aesthetic attributes were summarized.

The art subject deals with aesthetic experience within natural environment around and artificial environment, and it represents the experience through formative arts. And it also extends the aesthetic experience by making students appreciation of the works of art. In the main text of this study was studied with the connection with environmental education on the basis of the characteristics of art subject. That is, in the art education there can be an understanding of the harmony between natural environment and artificial one and their relationship and, furthermore, more positive environmental education can be possible by environmental murals, environmental sculpture, environmental design, packing design, poster design, elf through systematic formative arts. In addition, the art education can make students keep sensitivity to the natural and artificial environment through the appreciation of a variety of art works made with a theme of environment or through the appreciation of the works in the environment around our lives. Also, it can lead to acquire the desirable values and attitudes toward the environment by discussing the harmony of environmental development and environmental preservation visually. In the second place, this relation described in detail by each grade according to the contents of the 7th curriculum for the art subject. In the third place, the following were suggested: the goals for the environmental education in the art subject, the direction of environmental education, the organization of contents related to environment and their emphases, and the main teaching and learning methods for environmental education.

추사는 우리 문화역사에서 진주와도 같다. 그의 불우했던 시대적인 환경이 그를 더욱 더 정진하게 하였으며, 이를 통하여 그의 예술은 찬란한 꽃을 피울 수 있었다. 그는 명문가에서 태어나 성장하고, 20대 약관의 시기에 이미 청조 문화의 당대 거장인 옹방강·완원과의 만남을 통하여 자신의 학문적 세계를 넓게 확립할 수 있었다. 특히 그가 유배생활을 했던 적거지(謫居地)에서의 서예술활동은 추사체를 확립할 수 있게 하였다. 또한, 세한도를 그림으로서 그의 문인 정신의 진수를 보여주었다. 수많은 서신을 통하여 그의 문화·예술·사상도 살펴볼 수 있다. 나아가 청대의 고증학을 바탕으로 실사구시의 사상과 철학도 살펴볼 수 있다. 본고는 추사의 문인예술에 대한 심미안(審美眼)을 세한도(歲寒圖)·불작난도(不作蘭圖) 등을 통하여 정신성 측면에서 고찰하여 보고자 한다. 이는 추사 예술의 본질이 되는 심미안이라고 판단되기 때문이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze four separate elements-sublime beauty, elegant beauty, mysticism, ornament-which appeared in materials, patterns, colors, silhouettes, details, and accessories, laying stress on luxurious, brilliant, mysterious feelings on Gorgeous Images appeared as trend theme of modern fashion by mixing religious mysticism of the Byzantine Empire. Mysticism element is using the effect of splendid and gorgeous colors from the Orient rather than forms. And a philosophy of abundant colors in mosaics, which are seen in art forms such as architecture, paintings, etc., shows that it creates some visual rooms for religious spirits. Influenced by the fashion of the Greco-Roman style, the elegant beauty element is expressing abundant comfort and elegant feminine lines that are from creases, and it is also emphasizing natural beauty which seems to slip down by displaying the splendid images of Gorgeous as drapes that fit a body. Ornament element was reflecting an inspiration from the splendid and brilliant culture of religion in the Byzantine Age. Therefore, it was appeared as a style filling the whole with bulky silks, splendid ornamental materials embroidered in gold or silver thread, the complicated geometric patterns that are two-dimensional and dignified, and so on. It was decorated with crosses which represent Christianity as a motif, and also it emphasized the splendor of the Byzantine and dazzling splendid images of Gorgeous by using accessaries decorated with various jewels. The elements of sublime beauty are showing the beauty adding humble and majestic images to it as designs sought by spiritual values or intrinsic values. Those designs, so to speak, have pretense which does not allow to expose a body and plain pure feeling, so that they are showing some abstinent styles in a solemn atmosphere, with most details removed. We can say the Fashion Theme appearing in Modern Times is the result from representing by combining various factors of the times with formative beauty through creative works for aesthetic expression. The moderners are requiring new designs which is possible to meet their individualities, in addition to their outstanding fashion senses. From this point of view, a variety of textiles, patterns, and colors in the Byzantine have a great meaning to fulfill people's various desires as interesting elements.
