개인별 인솔의 족궁 지지가 신체 균형능력에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Transverse and Longitudinal Arch Support of Individual Discount rate on the Balance Ability of the Body)

  • The body to achieve an interaction that are connected to each other. Foot of which plays an important role in motor activity. Insole that has been recently used, have a dynamic functional elements. In particular, support of Arch plays a very important role in terms of a motor function of the human body as a whole. It is possible to predict the proper support Arch with insole, the overall structure of the body there can affect the balance. In this study, by applying the insole which supports the Longitudinal arch and Transverse arch, you are trying to assess the interaction of balance and the body's ability. To target the 20 there is no problem in the sense of balance, college student, and changes were observed by measuring the Center of Position area and distance through the Biorescue device worn before and after led by Arch support. As a result, I showed improved results significantly discount rate after wearing in the Center of Position area and distance to assess the balance ability. Therefore, the correction insole function is to support the Longitudinal arch and Transverse arch to an important role in the foot. It may be that it has a functional element for improving the balance of the function of preventing collapse of the arch during walking, to disperse the weight of the entire foot, us reduce fatigue in the end.

Effect of the Arch Support on the Strength of the Abductor Hallucis During the Toe Spread Out Exercise in Standing Position in Individuals With Pes Planus

  • Background: The longitudinal arch is important for individuals with pes planus. The toe spread out exercise (TSO) has been widely used to continuously support the longitudinal arch by increasing the abductor hallucis (AbdH) muscle activation. However, the AbdH muscle is commonly lack of the sufficient activation during the TSO especially in individuals with pes planus. Objects: This study was performed to investigate the effect of arch support on the muscle activity and strength of the AbdH during TSO in standing position in individuals with pes planus. Methods: Twenty subjects with pes planus between 20 and 30 years of age participated in this study. The muscle activity and strength of the AbdH were measured using surface EMG system and the Smart KEMA tensiometer system. The AbdH muscle was evaluated during TSO between individuals with and without longitudinal arch support in standing position. The longitudinal arch was supported by using the insole. The paired t-test was used. The level of statistical significance was set at α = 0.05. Results: The muscle activity and strength of the AbdH during TSO with arch support in standing position was significantly greater than that without arch support. Conclusion: The muscle activity and strength of the AbdH during TSO in standing position can be influenced by the longitudinal arch support in individuals with pes planus. The AbdH strengthening during TSO in standing with arch support can be recommended especially in individuals with pes planus in the clinical settings.

유리 용해로 축열실 상재 하중 증가에 따른 Rider Arch의 안전성 검토 (A Stability Study of Rider Arch under the Increased Load of Checker Brick in Regernerator of the Reformed Glass Melting Furnace)

  • 유리용해로의 축열실은 폐연소가스로 열을저장하며, 유리용해로에 유입되는 흡입공기를 예열시키는 역할을 한다. 유리용해산업에서 연료소비를 줄이기 위하여 절연법, 단열벽돌, 공기누출등이 오래 연구되었다. 또한 새로운 형태의 단열벽돌과 Rider arch가 유리용해로의 수명연장을 위하여 연구되고 있다. 본 연구는 연구대상공장의 이전설치시 유리용해로의 축열실이 5.64m에서 7.89m로 높이가 높아졌고 이에 따른 축열실 하중증가에 의하여 Rider arch가 더 높은 응력을 받게 되었다. 이런 조건에서 Rider arch의 기계적 안정성을 본 연구에서 검토하였다. 계산식에 의하면 하중증가에 따른 Rider arch의 응력은 안정한 것으로 평가되었고 Rider arch가 견딜수 있는 최대 압축응력은 163kg/$cm^2$이고, 최대전단응력은 6.37kg/$cm^2$이다.

2-Arch 터널의 3차원 거동 특성 - 수치해석 연구 (Numerical investigation on 3D behavior of 2-Arch tunnel)

  • 본 연구에서는 2-Arch 터널의 3차원 거동 메카니즘에 관한 내용을 다루었다. 이를 위해 도심지 지하철에 적용된 2-Arch 터널을 고려하였으며 3차원 유한요소해석을 수행하여 좌우 터널의 이격거리, 지반조건, 토피고 등에 대한 매개변수연구를 실시하였다. 해석결과 토대로 다양한 조건에 대한 터널 천단침하 및 쇼크리트 응력, 중앙기둥 작용하중 등을 중점으로 분석하였으며, 그 결과를 토대로 좌우 터널 이격거리, 지반조건, 토피고에 따른 2-Arch 터널의 거동 메카니즘을 고찰하였다. 그 결과 숏크리트 라이닝 응력 및 중앙 기둥 작용하중은 후행터널 시공에 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났으며 터널관통지층이 취약할 경우 후행터널이 선행터널의 거동에 영향을 미치는 영향거리가 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 논문에서는 해석 결과를 토대로 2-Arch 터널의 시공중 변위 및 숏크리트 라이닝 응력 변화 경향에 대한 구체적인 내용을 기술하였다.

  • Widths between the first permanent molars and the mesio-distal widths of the four anterior teeth were measured on 32 lower and 33 upper dental casts of young adults aged 18-25 yerars. The casts were grouped in five categories-two where no anterior crowding existed, and three in which varying degrees of crowding were present. Subjects with a difference between arch width and anterior tooth widths greater than 4mm in the upper arch, or 10mm in the lower arch, rarely had crowding. As arch width changes very little from age 7 onwards, measurements at this age may be used as a screening mechansim for future arch crowding.

  • This study was undertaken to examine the extent to which tooth size and jaw size each contribute to dental crowding. Two groups of dental casts were selected on the basis of dental crowding. One group, consisting of 94 pairs of dental casts (46 males and 48 females) with normal occlusion. A second group, consisting of 84 pairs of dental casts (98 males and 46 females) with crowding. The results were as follows. 1. Means and standard deviations of the two groups were used to compare the two groups. 2. Significant differences were observed between two groups on the basis of tooth size, arch dimension and arch perimeter. 3. Between noncrowded group and crowded group, was crowded group was found to have large troth size than noncrowded group, while smaller arch dimension and perimeter. 4. Significant differences were observed between males and females on the basis of tooth size, arch dimension and arch perimeter. 5. Author found ideal arch shape of normal occlusion.

Creep analysis of concrete filled steel tube arch bridges

  • Applying the method calculating creep of Concrete Filled steel Tube (CFT) members based on the Elastic Continuation and Plastic Flow theory for concrete creep with the finite element method, the paper develops a new numerical method for the creep of CFT arch bridges considering effects of bending moment. It is shown that the method is feasible and reasonable through comparing the predicted stresses and deflection caused by the creep with the results obtained by the method of Gu et al. (2001) based on ACI209R model and experimental data of an actual CFT arch bridge. Furthermore, nine CFT arch bridges with different types are calculated and analyzed with and without the effects of bending moment. As a result, the bending moment has considerable influences on long-term deformations and internal forces of CFT arch bridges, especially when the section of arch rib is subjected to a large bending moment.

  • In this paper a study about concrete arch bridges built by lattice cantilevers is presented. Lattice cantilevers are partial structures composed of deck, arch, piers and provisional steel diagonals, organized as reticular cantilever girders, in order to build arch bridges without the use of centrings, supports or temporary towers. Characteristics of this construction methodology with its variants are explained together with their implications in the erection sequence. Partial elastic scheme method is implemented in order to find initial forces of temporary cables and a forward analysis is carried out to follow the actual sequence of construction, by extending a procedure already applied to concrete cable-stayed bridges and to arches built by the classical suspended cantilever method. A numerical application on a case-study of a concrete arch bridge is performed together with a comparison between different methodologies followed for its construction sequence. Differences between erection by lattice cantilevers and cable-stayed cantilevers, are discussed. Results can be useful for designers in conceptual design of concrete arch bridges.

Frequency domain analysis of concrete arch dams by decoupled modal approach

  • A modal approach is proposed for dynamic analysis of concrete arch dam-reservoir systems in frequency domain. The technique relies on mode shapes extracted by considering the symmetric parts of total mass and stiffness matrices. Based on this method, a previously developed program is modified, and the response of Morrow Point arch dam is studied for various conditions. The method is proved to be very effective and it is an extremely convenient modal technique for dynamic analysis of concrete arch dams.
