  • In this paper, we have developed smart-phone App(application) for screening Dementia using bionic sensors, urine test and questionnaire. Since small amounts of urinary protein strongly predict faster cognitive decline in the elderly, smart-phone based urinalysis is adopted to screen dementia more accurately as well as bionic sensors such as $SpO_2$ and HRV(Heart Rate Variability). Firstly, DI(Dementia Index) is calculated from urinalysis, two bionic sensors and electric questionnaire, and then compared to the threshold from clinical test. Finally the results of Dementia screening is shown in your smart-phone and useful information to prevent or relieve Dementia is also given. We performed simple testing on persons aged over 60 and found out the proposed application can be useful devices for screening Dementia easily and quickly.

  • Fructose 1,6-diphosphate(FDP), a glycolytic metabolite, is reported to ameliorate inflammation and inhibit the nitric oxide production in murine macrophages stimulated with endotoxin. It is also reported that FDP has cytoprotective effects against hypoxia or ischemia/reperfusion injury in brain and heart, and may play a protective role in ultraviolet B (UVB, 280~320 nm)-injured keratinocyte by attenuating prostaglandin (PG)-E$_2$production and cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 expression, which are possibly through blocking the intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation. Therefore FDP is considered to act as a potent antioxidant especially in the skin. We conducted the several safety tests (single-dose toxicity, primary skin irritation test, eye irritation test, skin sensitization test, phototoxicity test, photosenitization test and human patch test) to see if FDP is safe in case used for the skin application. Our data obtained hitherto suggest that FDP is very safe if applied to the skin.

  • In a software testing domain, test case prioritization techniques improve the performance of regression testing, and arrange test cases in such a way that maximum available faults be detected in a shorter time. User-sessions and cookies are unique features of web applications that are useful in regression testing because they have precious information about the application state before and after making changes to software code. This approach is in fact a user-session based technique. The user session will collect from the database on the server side, and test cases are released by the small change configuration of a user session data. The main challenges are the effectiveness of Average Percentage Fault Detection rate (APFD) and time constraint in the existing techniques, so in this paper developed an intelligent framework which has three new techniques use to manage and put test cases in group by applying useful criteria for test case prioritization in web application regression testing. In dynamic weighting approach the hybrid criteria which set the initial weight to each criterion determines optimal weight of combination criteria by evolutionary algorithms. The weight of each criterion is based on the effectiveness of finding faults in the application. In this research the priority is given to test cases that are performed based on most common http requests in pages, the length of http request chains, and the dependency of http requests. To verify the new technique some fault has been seeded in subject application, then applying the prioritization criteria on test cases for comparing the effectiveness of APFD rate with existing techniques.

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum mix design of the content of 100 % reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) for spray injection application with different binder types. METHODS : Literature review revealed that spray injection method is the one of the efficient and economical methods for repairing a small defective area on an asphalt pavement. The Rapid-Setting Polymer modified asphalt mixtures using two types of rapid setting polymers-asphalt emulsion and a quick setting polymer asphalt emulsion-were subjected to the following tests to determine optimum mix designs and for performance comparison: 1) Marshall stability test, 2) Retained stability test, 3) Wet track abrasion test, and 4) Dynamic stability test. RESULTS and CONCLUSIONS : Type A, B, and C emulsions were tested with different mix designs using RAP aggregates, to compare the performances and determine the optimum mix design. Performance of mixtures with Type A emulsion exceeded that of mixtures with Type B and C emulsion in all aspects. In particular, Type A binder demonstrated the highest performance for WTAT at low temperature. It demonstrated the practicality of using Type A mixture during the cold season. Furthers studies are to be performed to verify the optimum mix design for machine application. Differences in optimum mix designs for machine application and lab application will be corrected through field tests.

  • System-on-chip (SoC) designs have a number of flip-flops; the more flip-flops an SoC has, the longer the associated scan test application time will be. A scan shift operation accounts for a significant portion of a scan test application time. This paper presents physical-aware approaches for speeding up scan shift operations in SoCs. To improve the speed of a scan shift operation, we propose a layout-aware flip-flop insertion and scan shift operation-aware physical implementation procedure. The proposed combined method of insertion and procedure effectively improves the speed of a scan shift operation. Static timing analyses of state-of-the-art SoC designs show that the proposed approaches help increase the speeds of scan shift operations by up to 4.1 times that reached under a conventional method. The faster scan shift operation speeds help to shorten scan test application times, thus reducing test costs.

  • Power dissipated during test application is substantially higher than power dissipated during functional operation which can decrease the reliability and lead to yield loss. This paper presents a new technique for power minimization during test application in full scan sequential circuits. This paper shows freezing of combinational logic parts during scan shift operation in test mode. The freezing technique leads to power to minimization. Significant power reduction in the scan techniques is achieved on ISCAS 89 benchmarks.

  • The buildings constructed with steel structure is coated with certified fire resistive material to resist from fire. Coating materials lose their initial performances as time passes, so they need some maintenance. Fireproof spray-application also loses its performance and this performance loss of thr fireproof spray-application is very important because fire resistance of buildings depends on fireproof spray-application. So this study is to develop Acceleration durability test method of Fireproof spray-application, and use the Certification of fire resistant coating system.

  • In this study, we processed two procedures of application test of filler for fire-resistance utility that are new application methods of aerated concrete and properties test of aerated concrete according to mixing ratio because we investigated the better use of aerated concrete as filler for fireproof safety and we proposed basic data about standardization of mixing of aerated concrete. We measured flow and volume change of aerated concrete. And if its volume doesn't change, we added measuring unit weight and compressive strength. To test application of aerated concrete as filler for fireproof safety, we filled up aerated concrete to fireproof safety according to suitable mixing ratio. Then we measured maximum temperature of inner part of fireproof safety in accordance with the standard test of fireproof. According to the results, aerated concrete as filler for fireproof safety could be possibly used. So when we make aerated concrete, we should consider using an adding agent as well as a foaming agent.

  • A web application is implemented by reusing the library provided by framework and has hierarchical architecture. Also, to deal with the user request from a screen, the web application has an execution flow, called 'Business Logic', which starts with a screen, executes its composed component and comes back to the screen via database. To test web application effectively, it should reflect the characteristics of web application. In this paper we propose to test web applications via user screens with the black-box testing approach and verify its source codes with the web interface white-box test coverage that covers all the business logics of the test target and their corresponding interfaces. We analyze the proposing testing method through its tool: Testopiacov.

  • Since scan based testing is very efficient and widely used for testing large sequential circuits. However, since test patterns are serially injected through long scan chains, scan based testing requires very long test application time. Also, compared to the normal operations, scan shifting operations drastically increase power consumption. In order to solve these problems, this paper presents a new scan architecture for both test application time and test power reduction. The proposed scan architecture partitions scan chains into several segments and bypasses some segments which do not include any specified bit. Since bypassed segments are excluded from the scan shifting operation, the test application time and test power can be significantly reduced.
