Recently, construction project has greatly increased the needs for cost savings due to excessive competition and economic recession. The purpose of this study is to introduce application of building using optimal design technique for improving constructability and economic efficiency of structural wall. As a results, design results of irregular wall show about 15% reduction of the longitudinal bar compared to single walls and ultimately improve constructability.

Since the primary purpose of information Engineering focuses on transaction or operation processing, various information needs acquired in Information Strategy Planning phase are not properly utilized from the viewpoint of decision support systems development. In this research, we suggest a case-based reasoning application that supports initial Data Warehouse Modeling by expanding the activities in Information Strategy Planning.

In this study we have provided one solution to overcome mistakes with limited technical staffs, capitals and times may be the computer for cost estimating. In view of the speed and the ability to draw on funds of information, we shall see that computer estimating models will become the exhibited and the accepted norm of operation by continuous research. The purpose of this article is to introduce ocean energy and its application. In recent years, the energy consumption and requirement of fossil resources are increased due to the advanced life style. But, the amount of fossil fuels have limitation. Also, it is difficult to construct new large power plant facilities for the production of electric energy. Therefore, the necessities to study and to find out other energy resources are increased more and more. In the ocean, the efforts of using tide, wave, tidal current and thermal energy are should be attempt. Computer software users develop and utilize their application software by themselves since Processing methods are different by quantity and qualify of the information The developed model needs input data and error numbers generated during the testing phases. However. total error numbers of the existing model and each error time was needed as data for developing the new model. But, maximum likelihood estimation must be used to exponential model of binomial-type and estimating of parameters by using the searched data. Parameter estimation can be done with trial and error or simulation.

This study mainly aims to address the housing requirements of senior citizens through meeting their basic needs for physical housing while valuing the particular human needs and demands of older people. As the number and frequency of their social ties decrease, senior citizens spend most of their time at home. As a result, they suffer a larger number of accidents in the home. Although carelessness is a cause, the main reason for seniors household accidents is that the general structure, fixtures and appliances of housing do not take into account the particular needs of older people. This study investigates the accident patterns of older people, addresses structural obstructions, and proposes guidelines for ergonomic interior design and household management which take into account universal design and the special needs of senior citizens. This study explores the following: 1) Accident causes and patterns in senior households, as the specific characteristics, requirements of older people. 2) An analysis of safety improvement plans and application. 3) Determining each rooms layout by functional requirement. 4) A final set of proposed interior design guidelines for senior housing.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a self triage application for rescue requests by disaster vulnerable populations. Literature was reviewed in order to define application trends and needs. Methods: Development of the self triage application was conducted in six stages as a hybrid model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, modification) of the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model and Driscoll & Alexander model. Application system function and contents were tried with 6 experts and 4 people with hearing impairments. Results: Expert assessment of the application for self triage showed that reliability at 5 points was the highest, followed by utility at 4.8 points. Scores for quickness and expressiveness were low at 4.6 and 4.2 points respectively. User acceptability assessment of the application was measured at 66.73 points. Conclusion: The results show that the application for self triage is helpful to disaster vulnerable populations by providing relief in disaster situations. It is expected that use of this application as a self rescue ability can be made available for disaster situations. However, it will be necessary to establish policies for communication strategies with rescuers and public relations to improve the access rate of disaster app service.

In Korea, there is a lack of adequate safety management for small-scale construction work, particularly when compared to large-scale construction projects. The number of construction disasters is also higher on small-scale construction sites. In this regard, this study aimed to develop the application prototype to support the safety management of small-scale construction projects. The major findings of the research are as follows. 1) About 60% of construction disasters and death occurred on small-scale construction sites over the last two years. In addition, institutional support and costs for safety management were found to be insufficient. 2) The items of the application for the small-scale construction safety management were constructed on the basis of the safety management of large-scale construction work. The contents of the application were confirmed based on a survey of small-scale construction project managers. 3) The application algorithm was developed with a focus on the roles of management subjects and information exchange. For transition from the application prototype presented in this study to a commercial product, further research needs to be conducted regarding the reflection of user requirements and application management subjects.

The purpose this study is to analyze how human resources in culture and arts education use the contents of Arts Academy training program in the field, and to suggest implications and improvements of the training for strengthening the competence of professional manpower. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted for the participants of the Arte Academy training program to investigate the actual application rate. As a result of the analysis, overall application of the training was high. However, the work-site application was divided into indirect and direct applications. Indirect application showed higher results than direct application. This shows that the training is effective in terms of strengthening the participants' personal competence, but they are somewhat lacking in applying the contents learned in the training directly in the field. Indirect application is a result of training and is a necessary part of strengthening competence. However, considering that culture and arts education is a consumer-oriented policy that enjoys culture and art, it needs to be strengthened more directly in the field, and the competence of the applicant should be applied to the field more smoothly. The Korea Arts & Culture Education Service needs to review and implement such a training that has a higher direct application than indirect application.

Considerations of how to facilitate aging-in-place(AIP) are becoming increasingly pertinent as care-givers are overwhelmed by an aging population. Aging friendly home-care services combined with IT can satisfy the needs of the elderly suffer from chronic diseases such as depression and dementia. Therefore, we propose future smart phone services and application technologies which can estimate emotional states of the aged and respond to the desire to be happy with mental health, connectedness and consolation from peoples. Firstly, we introduce depression measurement techniques to estimate the severity of depression using multiple sensors. At second, the emotional responding services are categorized to four parts and the details are described. Lastly, we propose the process to implement emotional communication and the application techniques(services) to fulfill the emotional satisfaction and mental healthcare for AIP using smart phone as a mediator.
