According to ascending needs for quality assurance of plate by customer and automated measurement of dimension for slab, in plate mill, project is on preceeding to install measuring system to measure width, length and camber of slab and plate using laser distance meter. In this document, I will describe not technical point of view but idea of design for installation system.

Closed reduction using acrylic splints with circummandibular fixation has been known to be useful techniques in pediatric mandibular fractures. However, this technique has some shortcomings, including needs for impression taking or additional laboratory process, which can increase the exposure time of general anesthesia or make an additional sedation visit. Recently, the advancement of computer-aided maxillofacial surgery offers to clinicians to expansion of its application. This case report represents a technique of computer-assisted virtual reconstruction and computer-aided designed splint fabrication in a 2-year-old boy with mandibular body fracture.

Recently the needs for industrial robot system of high speed continuous path motion such as sealing application have been increasing. To apply to this kinds of work, dynamic analysis for Hyundai 8601 robot has been carried out by experiment. For the good design of high performance robot manipulator, accurate analysis of dynamic characteristics is important especially for current semi-closed loop control type industrial robots.

The design technique of turbo pumps has been developed due to an increasing demand from related industrial fields. But infant stage of turbomachinery in the domestic industry needs more fundamental design method. Among various types of pumps, centrifugal pump was chosen because of its wide industrial application. It is difficult to decide the correct specification of centrifugal impeller, because of its complex flow analysis at the inlet, passage and outlet. This study is limited on the impeller blade design and its related performance analysis.

The multiple home PC, and home computing environment has undergone a significant evolution. And Internet explosion needs an integrated networking infrastructure within the home. Home networking is a concept that applies to the networking and application technologies to increase the comfort and ensure sharing and management of home resources as well as the provision of new, enhanced services. This paper proposes a Unification Protocol Architecture for home network. This Unification Protocol Architecture expect to a reference model in home network and to a foundation of the IIA (Internet Information Appliance) industry.

As industries developed, industrial goods have got bigger and more precise. It led producers to feel like having a way to confirm whether the goods are good enough for the needs of consumers or not. Because of that, producers got interested in industrial photogrammetry that can get accurate data quickly without coming cotact with customers directly. Based on the need, this study is examined by photographing an O-2A aircraft which is a large and precise one to check the application of Industrial Photogrammetry.

In Korea, farming population is rapidly decreased in each decade. Consequently, farming is becoming more complex with multi cropping, animal production and green house farming. In order to encounter this complexity of farming, expert system applications on diagnosis, planning, designing, management, control, and training are demanded to meet the needs of agricultural society. In this article, expert system establishment procedures are stated step by step and extensive literature review was conducted on the expert system development techniques.

This study has been carried out as a groundwork for the application of various solar systems to new telecommunications office buildings. A survey has been done to examine the present conditions of these buildings throughout the country. The exemplar cases of Japan are also studied, which provided useful feedbacks to our needs. The results of the present study could be used in developing the most appropriate(energy efficient) model for these buildings.

The persons who realize e-Business should have capabilities of understanding in both information technology and business processes. It is expected that current education policies and systems could not meet needs of e-Business human resources in Korea. In this paper, we define and categorize human resources for e-Business as to application areas and expertise levels. An intensive field survey has been conducted. Based on the survey results, several strategic and practical alternatives are suggested for development of e-Business human resources in Korea.

Recently, a technology based on the proportional integral (PI) control have grown rapidly owing to the needs for the robust capacity of the controllers from industrial building sectors. However, PI controller generally requires tuning of gains for optimal control when the outside weather condition changes. The present study presents the possibility of reinforcement learning (RL) control algorithm with PI controller adapted in the HVAC system. The optimal design criteria of RL controller was proposed in the environment chamber experiment and a theoretical analysis was also conducted using TRNSYS program.
