As recent integration of wire and wireless networks and the convergence of telecommunications and broadcasting, uniform and standardized by the broadcasting operators of existing stations to provide 4A(Any-time, Any-where, Any-device, Any-contents) services for the next-generation of multimedia services research is being progressed. Demand for theses next-generation multimedia services to ensure video compression coding technology, as well as mobility, ability to operation a variety of devices, characteristics and performance of user network and the status and conditiion, user preferences and context-awareness based on the technology has an interest in technical studies. In this paper, the current internet environment, SVC(Scalable Video Coding) encoded by a mixture of multicast and overlay multicast transmission technology for broadcasting services by designing and efficient multimedia broadcasting system is proposed. In addition, ACK-Aow Optimization by overlay multicast scheme existing tree-based overlay multicast, and by comparing the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated.
In multi-media, multi-channel era, video viewing using various digital devices via the Internet, not the existing broadcasting network, is emerging as a new broadcasting viewing behavior. OTT service is regarded as the main service of this change of viewing behavior. It is a video service that can seamlessly use any content desired by the user at any time, at any time, any device, any contents, if the Internet connection is available. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the satisfaction of OTT service by applying the technology acceptance model (TAM). As a result of analyzing through 303 questionnaires of the early users of OTT service, social pressure, perceived popularity, perceived cost, user reputation, individual innovation, and esthetics set as external factors in this study are partially affects perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived enjoyment. In addition, perceived usefulness, ease of use, and enjoyment are directly influencing satisfaction. Based on these results, we discuss the theoretical and practical implications and propose future research direction.
For any S-flat module RM(which will be called endoflat) with a commutaitve ring R with identity, where S is the endomorphism ring RM, the fact that every epimorphism is an automorphism has been proved and the Jacobson Radical Rad(S) of S is described as follow; Rad(S) = { f$\in$S|Imf=Mf is small in M} = {f$\in$S|Imf $\leq$Rad(M)}. Additionally for any quasi-injective endo-flat module RM, the fact that every monomorphism is an automorphism has been proved and the Jacobson Radical Rad(S) for any quasi-injective endo-flat module has been studied too. Also some equivalent conditions for the semi-primitivity of any faithful endo-flat module RM with the open Jacobson Radical Rad(M) and those for the semi-simplicity of any faithful endo-flat quasi-injective module RM with the closed Socle Soc(M) have been studied.
Korean artificial heart(AnyHeart) is a single-pieced and implantable hi-ventricular pulsaile pump adapting a moving actuator mechanism. The authors report a case of clinical application of AnyHeart as a life-saving device for the patients with end-stage heart disease combined with biventricular failure.
By measuring changes in blood lactate and plasma enzyme (CPK, GOT, GPT) with electrical stimulation applied at two duty cycles, this study is intended to look into which type of duty cycle may have more effects on blood lactate and plasma enzyme constituents through animal experiment so as to determine any duty cycle appropriate for electrical treatment. In this study, electrical stimulation was applied to total 20 Korean house rabbits (weight: 3~3.5 kg) by means of an electrical therapeutic apparatus called TS6000 (made in Netherlands) at duty cycle of 50% and 20% respectively for 30 minutes. Here, 5 cc of blood was collected from their carotid artery before stimulation and in 30 minutes after stimulation respectively to carry out biochemical experiment and analysis. As determined through the above experiment, blood lactate rate was increased to 333.07% at 50% duty cycle after experiment and 185.71% at 20% duty cycle after experiment respectively. In both cases, blood lactate rate was significantly increased to higher level after electrical stimulation than before. Moreover, the rate of change in the average of blood lactate rate at both duty cycles also showed significant differences. CPK rate was boosted to 301.82% at 50% duty cycle after experiment and 321.35% at 20% duty cycle after experiment respectively. In both cases, CPK rate was remarkably boosted to higher level after stimulation than before (p<.05). However, there was not any significant difference in the rate of change in average CPK at both duty cycles (p<.05). GOT rate was significantly boosted up to 38.97% at 50% duty cycle after experiment (p<.05), while it was slightly increased to 1.68% at 20% duty cycle after experiment without any significant difference. Rather, GPT rate dropped slightly at both duty cycles after experiment, but there was not any significant difference. Although blood lactate and GOT were relatively less generated at 20% duty cycle after electrical stimulation than at 50% duty cycle, the change of duty cycle didn't have any significant influence on CPK rate. In this regard, this study failed to come any consistent conclusion about the association between change of duty cycle and muscle fatigue. Therefore, it is advisable that follow-up studies seek various ways to a little more effectively apply electrical stimulation to laboratory animals by avoiding their muscle fatigue. VG-AnyLAN is a local area network standard developed by the IEEE 802.12 project. While preserving the frame format of IEEE 802.3, VG-AnyLAN adopts a new medium access control called Demand Priority where transmission requests of stations are arbitrated by a control hub in a round-robin manner. Unlike CSMA/CD which is the medium access control of IEEE 802.3, the Demand Priority, while providing the maximum bound on the packet delay, does not put the limit on the network segment size. In this paper, we analyze the delay and the channel utilization performances of the medium access control of IEEE 802.12 VG-AnyLAN. We develope an analytic model of the system under assumptions that each station generates traffic of the equal priority and that the packets are of fixed length. Using the analytic model, we obtain the recursive expression of the average channel utilization and the average access delay The numerical results obtained via analysis are compared to the simulation results of the system for a partial validation of our analysis.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the tendency of Korean traditional textile studies to review the studies critically and to suggest the new directions. To do this, this study included 164 articles of Korean traditional textile studies published in five Korean major journals from the first issue to the 2009. The identified 164 articles were categorized and analyzed by five areas : study subject, study content, study method, the tendency through times and journals publishing Korea traditional textile articles. The results were as follows. First, in the study subject, the ratio of traditional motifs study was the highest in any other study subject and an actual textile pattern study and society culture historic study were also favored. And, the ratio of foreign textile study was the lowest in any other study subject. Second, in the fiber type of study content, the ratio of silk fiber was the highest in any other fiber type. Hemp, ramie and cotton fiber were followed by silk fiber. Also, the ratio of wool fiber was lowest in any other fiber type. In the weaving type, ratio of plain weave was the highest in any other weaving type. In the times of study, the ratio of the Joseon Dynasty period was the highest in any other times of study. Third, in the study method, the ratio of an actual proof study method was higher than that of literature study method. In the tendency of times, there were society culture historic studies from the time publishing the first edition in each journal, the ratio of an actual textile pattern study, traditional motif study and preservation science study has increased since the 2000. Fourth, in the characteristics of journals, Journal of Korean Society of Costume has published the most articles in any other journal publishing Korea traditional textile study.
