전자상거래에서 신뢰의 이차원성 (Bidimensionality of Trust In the Electronic Commerce)

  • Due to the wide use of internet, electronic commerce market is gradually increasing but consumers still conceive various transaction-related problems. Various studies argue that those problems are obstructing trust in electronic commerce. Most studies on electronic commerce address that trust is measured as a Single dimension in which factors obstructing trust are same as those of increasing distrust. However, this study doesn't view trust as a single dimensional level but understands trust and distrust are bidimensional. This study also holds a viewpoint that they are influenced by different antecedents. According to the results of empirical analysis, the antecedents of trust have a significant explanatory power to trust and those of distrust have it to distrust. Other relations among the notions of trust and distrust, perceived risk and purchase intention as depicted in the research model are all statistically significant except the relation between distrust and purchase intention. This study shows a strong evidence of the bidimensionality of trust with separate antecedents.

Antecedents of Acceptance of Social Networking Sites in Retail Franchise and Restaurant Businesses

  • The paper examines the antecedents of acceptance of social networking sites in retail franchise and restaurant businesses. The success of retail franchise and restaurant business operators via social networking sites depends not only on organizational benefits but also on their behavioral intentions of using it. Three hundred and twenty four samples collected from South Korean retail franchise and restaurant employees are analyzed using factor analysis, structural equation model techniques and one-way analysis of variance. The results of the study identify the three constructs of organizational benefits, perceived tangible assets and perceived intangible assets as for important antecedents to accept social networking sites for their business use. Moreover, higher position employees tend to have more favorable perception of tangible assets and acceptance of social networking sites for their business use.

Antecedents and Consequences of Consumer Engagement in Social Media

  • This study investigates perceived social presence, perceived interactivity, perceived enjoyment, and perceived trust as antecedents of consumer engagement. We measured the attitudinal and behavioral brand loyalty as consequences of consumer engagement in social media. Our findings suggest that perceptions of social presence, enjoyment, and trust are significantly related to consumer engagement. Conversely, perceived interactivity has no positive influence on consumer engagement. In addition, consumer engagement is found to have a significant impact on both attitudinal and behavioral brand loyalty. The study revealed that, in the modified model, covariance paths among the proposed antecedents of consumer engagement (namely the perceived social presence, interactivity, enjoyment, and trust) are statistically significant. In this paper, we also discuss limitations of the study and future research.

Exploring Antecedents of Consumers' Willingness to Depend on E-Health Information

  • Previous research on online health (e-health) information was primarily focused on consumer information search behavior and information quality. Although studies addressing online information quality have flourished, they have yet to thoroughly examine whether consumers actually use the information they search. The purspose of this study suggests a conceptual framework that examines the potential antecedents of a consumers' willingness to depend on e-health information as an indicator of the consumer's trust of the provided e-health information. The proposed antecedents include healthcare product involvement, online skill level, perceived quality, and credibility of the source. Using structural equation modeling on online survey data, seven hypotheses, which describe the relationships between the variables of the model, were tested. The results indicate that consumer willingness to depend on provided e-health information was significantly influenced by the consumers' perceived quality and credibility of specific e-health information. Consumer involvement in healthcare and their online skill-level, respectively, also positively related to perceived quality and credibility regarding e-health information.

패스트 패션 브랜드에 대한 소비자 의사결정 연기의 선행변수 (Antecedents of consumers' decision postponement on purchasing fast fashion brands)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the antecedents of consumers' decision postponement on purchasing fast fashion brands. Ongoing search behavior, overchoice confusion, and similarity confusion were considered as antecedents. It was hypothesized that ongoing search behavior influences decision postponement both directly and indirectly through overchoice confusion and similarity confusion. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul, using convenience sampling. Three hundred five questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis, which were exploratory factor analysis using SPSS and confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis using AMOS. Factor analysis proved that ongoing search behavior, overchoice confusion, similarity confusion, and decision postponement were uni-dimensions. Tests of the hypothesized path proved that ongoing search behavior influences decision postponement indirectly through overchoice confusion. In addition, similarity confusion influences decision postponement. The results suggest some confusion reduction strategies for marketers of fast fashion brands. Suggestions for future study are also discussed.

유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육행동에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The Effect of Antecedents on Maternal Parenting Behaviors)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate what antecedents and how much these antecedents have an effect on mother's parenting behaviors. The subjects of this study are 251 mothers who have child 3 to 6 year old in Daegu and Kyugbook province. The data are analysed through frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, Cronbach's α, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The major findings of this study are as follows:First, child's sex, temperament, and behavior problem, mother's parenting self-efficacy, and marital satisfaction and satisfaction of social support affect maternal affectionate parenting behavior. Second, child's temperament, mother's personality and parenting self-efficacy, and satisfaction of social support affect maternal control parenting behavior Third, mother's variables, especially parenting self-efficacy, have great effect on maternal affectionate parenting behavior than any other variables have. Forth, mother's variables, especially personality and efficacy of parenting, have great effect on maternal control parenting behavior than any other variables have.

플로우(Flow)의 구성요인, 조직몰입, 지식공유와 직무만족과의 관계에 대한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Relationship of Antecedents of Flow, Organizational Commitment, Knowledge Sharing and Job Satisfaction)

  • The current study investigates the relationship of antecedents of flow, organizational commitment, knowledge sharing, information technology usage for knowledge sharing, and job satisfaction of organizational employees. This study analyze the effects of psychological states of employees both on affective states of them and on knowledge sharing by applying the internet-based flow theory to knowledge sharing. The antecedents of flow are found to have positive effects on organizational commitment. In addition, it is found that organizational commitment has a positive effect on knowledge sharing, information technology usage for knowledge sharing, and job satisfaction. While it is found that knowledge sharing has a positive effect on job satisfaction, it is found that information technology usage for knowledge sharing does not have an effect on job satisfaction, but have a positive effect on knowledge sharing. The result of this study would not only provide significant insights to knowledge management researchers and practitioners but also contribute to applying the flow theory to knowledge sharing.

B2B 거래에서 신뢰와 불신에 대한 선행변수 및 결과변수에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Antecedents and Outcomes of Trust and Distrust in B2B Transactions)

  • 본 연구는 기존의 신뢰와 관련된 연구들을 토대로 불신에 대한 새로운 접근을 시도하고자 하였다. 즉 과거 불신에 대한 대부분의 연구들은 신뢰와 불신은 단일연속 상에서 존재하는 서로 반대되는 개념으로서, 신뢰는 좋은 것이며, 불신은 나쁜 것이라고 보고 있다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 신뢰와 불신은 서로 구별이 가능한 독립적인 개념이며, 동시에 동일 관계에서 공존할 수 있는 개념임을 실증적으로 연구하고자 하였다. 또한 불신도 거래관계에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 전제하에 기존 연구들에서 불신을 부정적인 관계변수로 제안한 것에 대한 반대 견해를 제시하고 이를 실증적 분석을 통해 입증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 신뢰 및 불신에 대해 다양한 선행변수들을 동시적으로 또는 차별적으로 제시함으로써 신뢰 및 불신의 구별가능성 및 공존가능성을 입증하고자 하였고, 긍정적 관계변수로서의 불신의 역할을 규명하고자 협력 및 기능적 갈등에 미치는 불신의 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 신뢰의 선행변수들 및 결과변수들은 모두 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 도출하였으나, 불신의 선행변수들 및 결과변수들에 대해서는 일부 가설들이 기각되었다. 그러나 불신에 대해서 차별적으로 제시되었던 선행변수들인 거래특유자산과 환경적 불확실성과 함께 동시적으로 제시되었던 명성에 대한 연구가설이 모두 지지됨에 따라 신뢰와 불신의 구별가능성 및 공존가능성에 대해서 어느 정도 실증적으로 규명되었다고 평가할 수 있으며, 기능적 갈등에 대한 불신의 긍정적 영향에 대해서도 실증적으로 규명함으로써 불신이 거래 관계상 긍정적인 역할을 수행할 수 있음을 보여주었다.

지식경영 성과 선행 요인이 조직원 흡수 역량에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of KM Performances' Antecedents on an Eemployee's Absorptive Capacity)

  • 자원 기반적 이론에 따르면, 지식은 빠르게 변화하는 기업 환경에서 기업 효율성을 증진시킬 수 있는 중요한 요소로 간주되고 있다. 이런 맥락에서, 여러 기업들은 지식 경영을 통해, 조직원들이 지식을 공유하고 교환할 수 있도록 장려하고 있으며, 이러한 활동들은 기업의 핵심 역량을 증진시키는 데 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다. 제안한 연구 모형에서는 지식 경영 성과의 선행요인들이 조직원들의 흡수 역량에 영향을 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서는 지식 경영 성과로 조직원들의 지식 경영 만족과 공유 지식 품질을 고려하였으며, 고려한 지식 경영 성과들이 조직원들의 지식 흡수 능력을 향상시키는 중요한 선행 요인으로 작용하는지 살펴보았다. 그리고, 지식 경영 성과의 선행 요인으로 외재적 보상, 내재적 보상, 관계적 보상을 고려하였다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 기업의 형태에 따라, 선행변수들의 영향 차이를 살펴보았다. 제안된 연구 모형은 2개의 공기업 1,103명과 5개의 사기업 907명의 데이터를 통해 검증되었다. 본 연구 결과에서는 조직원들의 지식 경영 만족과 공유 지식 품질이 조직원들의 지식 흡수 능력을 향상시키는데 도움을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 외재적 보상은 조직원들의 지식경영 만족에만 유의한 영향을 미쳤지만, 내재적 보상과 관계적 보상은 지식 경영 성과 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한, 기업 형태의 조절 변수에 대한 결과를 제시를 하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 이론과 실무적 관점에서 시사점을 도출하였다.

안전분위기와 산업재해와의 관계에 대한 연구 (The relationship between safety climate and occupational accident)

  • With Zohar(1980)'s research on safety climate and industrial safety, occupational safety and health literatures begin to emphasize the influence of organizational context. Based on this research trend, this paper tried to review the relationship between individual/ organizational factors and occupational accidents. Based on the responses from 643 manufacturing workers, this paper reviewed the relationship between antecedents(safety knowledge, safety motivation, safety education, and safety precaution activity) and safety consequences(accident parts, accident number, resting days). The results of statistical analysis showed that many antecedents have significantly negative relationships with safety consequences.
