This 18-year-old male patient had a massive epistaxis after motorcycle traffic accident on 1st day of admission. There were no other significant brain parenchymal lesion on initial brain CT exam, except multiple pneumocephalus and basal skull fracture lines. We treated epistaxis conservatively till vital signs were corrected, and then conventional cerebral angiogram was followed. On angiogram, there was traumatic pseudoaneurysm on C5 portion(by Fischer) of ICA, so we treated it only by endovascular stenting. For the purpose of sparing parent arterial patency, endovascular stenting on pseudoaneurysm may play a role with safety and good results.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the effect of providing information using a mobile internet terminal on anxiety, discomfort and satisfaction with education among patients undergoing a coronary angiogram. Methods: Data were collected from July 27, 2016 to February 23, 2017. A total of 64 participants (34 for the experiment group and 30 for the control group) admitted to a department of cardiology internal medicine for coronary angiography were recruited. Data were analyzed by SPSS Window 22.0 Program. Results: Information provided through mobile internet terminal did not affect anxiety and objective and subjective discomfort of the participants for coronary angiography, it was effective in satisfaction with education. Conclusion: Based on the results, it is indicated that video education using a mobile internet terminal could be an effective method to improve nurses' work efficiency and quality and to raise satisfaction with education.

True aneurysm of the carotid artery is relatively rare in comparison with the total number of aneurysms of the arterial system. The threat of rupture and embolization from mural thrombi are indications for treatment even though no symptoms may be present. Resection of the aneurysm and restoration of arterial continuity is the treatment of choice. A case of aneurysm of the Lt. common carotid artery of a 21 year-old male patient is presented. The confirmatory diagnosis was made by left carotid angiogram, and the aneurysmectomy & reconstruction with woven dacron vascular prosthesis was done, while cerebral circulation was maintained by internal shunt.

In 1989, We experienced 2 cases of T.A.P.V.D. corrected successfully under cardiopulmonary bypass. The first case was 27 years old male with mild dyspnea on exertion and easy fatigability. All clinical symptoms, physical examinations, laboratory findings, echocardiogram, cardiac catheterization and angiogram revealed supracardiac type T.A.P.V.D. drained through left innominate vein. Operation was done by manner of modified Schumacker procedure. The other case was 6 years old male with cardiac type drained to right atrium through coronary sinus. Two patients were well in postoperative 15 and 8 months.

A unilateral pulmonary artery agenesis, which develops occasionally as one of the associated anomalies in congenital cardiovascular defect like as tetralogy of Fallot, is very rare anomaly as an isolated congenital defect. The diagnostic approach for the pulmonary artery agenesis is first suggested by the unique appearance of the involved lung on a routinely checked chest roentgenogram, because most patients are asymptomatic unless pulmonary infection had been superimposed. We have recently experienced a case of left pulmonary artery agenesis, which was diagnosed by perfusion scan, digital subtraction angiogram and then treated by left pneumonectomy in a 9 year-old boy, and presented hereby with the review of relevant literature.

We experienced one case of TAPVC patient who was 39 years old man with mild dyspnea on exertion and easy fatigability. He was the oldest patient among TAPVC which was reported in Korea. Preoperative echocardiogram, cardiac catheterization and angiogram revealed supracardiac type TAPVC drained through left innominate vein. An anastomosis between common pulmonary venous trunk and left atrium, pericardial patch closure of ASD and ligation of left vertical vein were performed with extracorporeal circulation. The postoperative course was uneventful and discharged with excellent general condition and has been well during 8 months follow-up.

We experienced one case of the coronary artery aneurysm. The patient was 67 years old female, who complained of dyspnea on exercise[NYHA functional class III] for two years. Coronary angiogram demonstrated a localized saccular aneurysm on left main coronary artery, just above bifurcation of left anterior descending coronary artery and circumflex artery. On the operative field, the aneurysm was 2cmx2cmx 1.5cm in size with 0.5cm in neck. Resection and aneurysmorrhaphy was done. The patient was recovered and discharged uneventfully. During 8 months follow-up period, she lives in good physical activity and absence of chest pain.

Isolated stenotic lesion located at the ostium of the left main coronary artery associated with Takayasu`s aortitis is quite rare. This report herein described a case of 25 year old woman with isolated ostial stenosis of the left main coronary artery underwent pericardial patch [fixed with 0.6 % glutaraldehyde] angioplasty. An anterior approach was used and postoperative coronary angiogram of the patient showed normal coronary ostial contour with normal runoff.

Acute pulmonary embolism (PE) is a life-threatening disease that manifests with cardiorespiratory symptoms. Syncope can be a rare, but warning sign of PE. We report a case of a 49-year-old male diagnosed with PE who presented with recurrent syncope prior to typical cardiorespiratory symptoms. His computed tomography pulmonary angiogram revealed bilateral PE. Syncope can be a rare clinical symptom of PE, but considering lethality of the disease, a differential diagnosis of PE should be considered in patients with recurrent syncope.
