  • This paper presents a SPMSM servo motor drive system using high performance TMS320 F281T DSP for the industrial application. This high performance DSP contains some special peripheral circuits such as PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) waveform generation circuit, Quadrature Encoder Pulse (QEP) generation circuit and Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) circuit. In this paper, a servo drive control system is constructed using high performance DPS for the overall system cost reduction and the size minimization.

영구 자석형 스텝모터의 위치 검출 (A position Detector of Permanent Magnet Step Motors)

  • A position detection method for 2 phase bifilar permanent magnet step motors is proposed. The back emfgenerated on 2 phase windings by rotor permanent magnet is calculated using motor terminal voltage and current by analog circuit, and the rotor position output is obtained from tese back emf signals through some logical manipulation circuit. This position detector functionally acts like a 2 channel optical incremental encoder, and it is also shown by experimental results that it works well over wide range of speed or under resonant condition where the rotor rings around the detent position. Its resolution is twice of the number of steps per revolution. Bu software implemented on micro-processor, the reliability of position output is enhanced, detecting and correcting error dut to external and/ or internal noise.

  • CMOS operational amplifier is most useful building bloch in analog circuit. This paper represents the analysis and design method of CMOS OP AMP to use general purpose such as the A/D and D/A converter, PCM encoder and decoder etc. The required specifications is obtained by changing W/L ration of CMOS devices. The design procedure must be iterative in as much as it is almost impossible to relate all specifications simultaneously. This is performanced with IBM-PC XT by using SPICE(SIMULATION PROGRAM WITH INTEGRATED CIRCUIT EMPHASIS)program.

  • Aerial images are being one of the important aspects of satellite imagery, delivers effective information on landcovers. Their special characteristics includes the viewpoint from space which clarifies data related to land examining processes. Aerial images taken by satellites employed radio waves to wirelessly transmit images to ground stations. Due to transmission errors, images get distorted and unable to perform in landcover examining. This paper proposes an aerial image enhancement method using deep autoencoders. A properly trained autoencoder can enhance an aerial image to a considerable level of improvement. Results showed that the achieved enhancement is better than that was obtained from traditional image denoising methods.

CDMA2000 1X용으로 구현된 스마트 안테나 기지국 시스템의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of Smart Antenna Base Station Implemented for CDMA2000 1X)

  • 본 논문에서는 CDMA2000 1X용 스마트 안테나 기지국을 구현하고 기지국 각 모듈의 구조와 새로운 기능을 소개한다. 구현된 스마트 안테나 기지국은 배열안테나, 주파수 상/하향 변환기, ADC/DAC, 확산기/역확산기, 길쌈 부호기/비터비 복호기, 탐색기, 추적기, 빔포머, 캘리브레이션(calibration) 등 여러 종류의 서브 시스템으로 구성되는 복합 시스템이다. 캘리브레이션 과정을 거친 후 순방향과 역방향 링크에서 원하는 빔패턴이 생성됨을 실험을 통해서 확인하였다. 또한, 본 논문의 스마트 안테나 기지국에 채택된 적응 알고리즘이 가입자당 4개의 핑거를 지원하는데 충분한 속도와 정확성을 가짐을 확인 하였으며, PCS 대역의 상용 단말기를 사용한 실험을 통해 제안된 스마트 안테나 기지국이 기존의 다이버시티 기지국에 비해 우수한 성능을 가짐을 FER(Frame Error Rate)로 확인하였다.

항공기 시뮬레이터용 조종 반력 시스템 실시간 제어기 개발 (Development of the Real-time Controller for Control Loading System in Aircraft Simulator)

  • In this study, we developed the real-time controller for control loading system (CLS) of aircraft simulator. The CLS is given the forces as inputs: the exerted force by a pilot, which is determined according to the position of the control stick, and the calculated force by the host computer. And then CLS makes the pilot feel the back loading force by supplying the motor drive with the actuator signal. The developed real-time controller for CLS is organized into the five parts which are the position sensing part including a encoder, the A/D converter part for the analog load cell signal, the communication interface part to communicate with the host, the D/A converter for the actuator signal, and the CPU DSP2812 to carry out a control algorithm. We constructed the test control loading system and carried out the experiment with the developed real-time controller. The experimental results showed that the real-time controller generates the back loading forces similar to the desired back loading force graph.

In-Process Evaluation of Surface Characteristics in Machining

  • This paper reported research results to develop an algorithm of on-lin evaluation of surface profiles and roughness generated by turning. The developed module consisted of computer simulation of surface profiles using mechanism of cutting mark formation and cutting vibrations, and online measurement of cutting vibrations. The relative cutting vibrations between tool and worpkiece were measured through an inductance pickup at the rate of one sample per rotation of the workpiece. The sampling process was monitored using an encoder to avoid conceling out the phase lag between waves. The digital cutting signals from the Analog-to-Digital converter were transferred to the simulation module of surface profile where the surface profiles were generated. The developed algorithm or surface generation in a hard turning was analyzed through computer simulations to consider the stochastic and dynamic nature of cutting process. Cutting tests were performed using AISI 304 Stainless Steel and carbide inserts in practical range of cutting conditions. Experimental results showed good correlation between the surface profiles and roughness obtained using the developed algorithm and the surface texture measured using a surface profilemeter. The research provided the feasibility to monitor surface characteristics during tribelogical tests considering wear effect on surface texture in machining.

디지털 원추관입기 개발 (Development of a Digital Cone Index Measuring Device)

  • This study was performed to design and to construct a digital soil cone index(CI) measuring device replacing conventional analog type devices. The device developed in the study consisted of a load cell, a rotary encoder and a motor with a decelerator as its main parts. The cone speed was controlled lower than 3.0 m/s which keeps the standard suggested by the ASABE S313.3 specification. The experiment was conducted in a soil bin system as well as in various fields. The CI data measured by the developed device were compared with those by an existing measurement device(SC900, Spectrum, USA). Based on the experiments at various field conditions, the CI measuring characteristic of the device was quite similar to that of the conventional device within a acceptable $R^2$ range of more than 0.5(mean=0.76). It was concluded that the digital cone index measuring device was an effective and comprehensive sensor for measuring soil strength.

전동휠체어 압력분포 측정시스템 개발 (Development of pressure measuring system for powered-wheelchair)

  • 본 논문에서는 전동휠체어용 압력분포 측정시스템을 개발하고, 실제 휠체어 사용자들을 대상으로 동작분석과 연계한 압력분포 변화실험을 통해 유의성을 검증하고자 하였다. 측정시스템은 휠체어 이동방향에 따른 압력분포 변화 측정을 위해 64ch의 시트쿠션 FSR 센서신호 및 좌 우 각 30ch의 팔걸이 FSR 센서신호를 2ch의 좌 우 바퀴형 엔코더 신호와 동시에 12bit, 10Hz의 샘플링 속도로 획득할 수 있도록 개발하였으며, 이 신호들을 USB 인터페이스를 통해 휠체어 뒤쪽에 장착 가능한 노트북PC로 전송 후 실시간으로 화면표시, 저장, 재생을 수행할 수 있는 실시간 신호처리 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 개발된 측정시스템을 사용한 압력분포 변화 실험은 실제 휠체어 사용자 10인을 대상으로 적외선 마커 기반의 동작분석실에서 3D 동작분석과 연계하여 실시하였다. 실험결과, 휠체어 진행 중 회전구간에서 몸이 회전의 바깥 방향으로 기울어지는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 실험결과 및 실험 후 인터뷰를 통해 전동휠체어 설계 시 시트의 형태에 대한 개선요구사항을 획득할 수 있었다.

전치 증폭기 공유 기법을 이용한 8-bit 10-MSample/s Folding & Interpolation ADC (A 8-bit 10-MSample/s Folding & Interpolation ADC using Preamplifier Sharing Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 8bit 10Ms/s CMOS Folding and Interpolation ADC를 제안한다. 회로에 사용한 구조는 FR(Folding Rate)이 3, NFB(Number of Folding Block)가 4, IR(Interpolation rate)이 8이며, 제안된 전치 증폭기(Preamplifier) 공유 기법을 회로에 사용하여 같은 구조에서 요구하는 전치 증폭기 수를 절반으로 줄여서 전력소모와 유효면적을 줄이도록 설계하였다. 제안된 ADC는 0.35[um] CMOS 디지털 공정을 사용하여 제작하였고, 유효칩 면적은 3.8[$mm^2$] ($1.8[mm]{\times}2.11[mm]$) 이고, 3.3[V], 샘플링 주파수 10[MHz]에서 20[mA]의 DC 전류소모를 나타내었다. INL은 -0.57, +0.61 [LSB], DNL은 -0.4, +0.51 [LSB]으로 측정되었고, 주파수 100[kHz] 정현파 입력신호에서 SFDR은 48.9[dB], SNDR은 47.9[dB](ENOB 7.6b)로 측정되었다.
