The purpose of this paper was to provide an overview of the existing literature on online visual merchandising and to propose an alternative theoretical framework in which online visual merchandising research can be conducted. Two streams of research including the e-tail service quality literature and the store environment literature from environmental psychology perspectives were reviewed in the context of online visual merchandising. An impression formation paradigm from social psychology was adopted to establish the alternative framework to supplement the existing online visual merchandising research and generate deeper insights into the online visual merchandising phenomenon.

Purpose: This study analyzes the optimal operation scheme of childcare centers in Korea to maximize the quality of childcare service by determining the number of children and number of teachers. Methods: This study employs a mathematical programming methodology called 'nonlinear integer programming (NLIP)' to solve the optimization problems and compare the quality of childcare service of optimal solutions with those of present operation scheme. Results: It is very successful in obtaining the optimal solutions for alternative capacities and they guarantee the substantial improvement in the quality of childcare service. Conclusion: Though more variables should be adapted for defining the quality of childcare service robustly, it is possible to conclude that childcare centers should modify their operation scheme to improve the quality of childcare service.

최근 장애인과 일반인이 공통으로 사용가능한 통합 전자출판 포맷 출현이 예상된다. 이를 국가 대체자료 제작 전략에 적용한다면, 기존 DTD(Document Type Definition)를 이용한 대체자료 제작 전략의 문제점뿐만 아니라 수요자의 요구에 맞는 다양한 대체자료 보급도 가능할 것으로 예상된다. 이와같이 급변하는 장애인용 대체자료 제작 관리 전략의 변화에 대응하기 위해 국립장애인도서관의 주요 역할을 충분히 해내기 위해서는 '대체자료 제작', '대체자료 연구 교육', '대체자료 정보망 운영' 등 각 주요 역할을 중심으로 대체자료 관련 전문 인력으로 구성된 센터를 설립하여 전문 역량을 발휘할 수 있도록 조직을 확대 개편하여야 한다.

언어발달 장애를 가진 아동들은 일상생활 및 사회생활에서 많은 어려움을 겪으며 이는 생애 전반을 걸쳐 지속된다. 언어발달 장애 아동들은 의사소통 수단인 언어를 이해하거나 사용하는 데에 어려움을 겪기 때문에 종종 사회적 활동에 참여할 기회를 박탈당하곤 한다. 이와 관련해서 Augmentative and Alternative Communication(AAC, 보완대체 의사소통)는 언어장애를 앓는 이들에게 실직적인 의사소통 수단으로 사용될 수 있다. 본 논문은 픽토그램을 AAC의 수단으로써 최대한 활용하여 언어발달 장애 아동이 타인과 의사소통하고 언어 이해 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 돕는 딥러닝 기반 인공지능 서비스를 제안한다. 본 서비스를 통해 언어 문제를 겪고 있는 이들이 자신의 의도 혹은 욕구를 보다 수월하게 표현하여 삶의 질이 향상 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Special track systems used to divert a train to other directions or other tracks are generally called 'railway turnout'. A traditional turnout system consists of steel rails, switches, crossings, steel plates, fasteners, screw spikes, timber bearers, ballast and formation. The wheel rail contact over the crossing transfer zone has a dip-like shape and can often cause detrimental impact loads on the railway track and its components. The large impact also emits disturbing noises (either impact or ground-borne noise) to railway neighbors. In a brown-field railway track where an existing aged infrastructure requires renewal or maintenance, some physical constraints and construction complexities may dominate the choice of track forms or certain components. With the difficulty to seek for high-quality timbers with dimensional stability, a methodology to replace aged timber bearers in harsh dynamic environments is to adopt an alternative material that could mimic responses and characteristics of timber in both static and dynamic loading conditions. A critical review has suggested an application of an alternative material called fibre-reinforced foamed urethane (FFU). The full-scale capacity design makes use of its comparable engineering characteristics to timber, high-impact attenuation, high damping property, and a longer service life. A field trial to investigate in-situ behaviours of a turnout grillage system using an alternative material, 'fibre-reinforced foamed urethane (FFU)' bearers, has been carried out at a complex turnout junction under heavy mixed traffics at Hornsby, New South Wales, Australia. The turnout junction was renewed using the FFU bearers altogether with new special track components. Influences of the FFU bearers on track geometry (recorded by track inspection vehicle 'AK Car'), track settlement (based on survey data), track dynamics, and acoustic characteristics have been measured. Operational train pass-by measurements have been analysed to evaluate the effectiveness of the replacement methodology. Comparative studies show that the use of FFU bearers generates higher rail and sleeper accelerations but the damping capacity of the FFU help suppress vibration transferring onto other track components. The survey data analysis suggests a small vertical settlement and negligible lateral movement of the turnout system. The static and dynamic behaviours of FFU bearers appear to equate that of natural timber but its service life is superior.

최근 전자서명법 개정으로 인해 공인인증서(현. 공동인증서) 지위가 만료됨에 따라 전자서명 기반의 공인인증서도 주민등록번호 대체수단에서 지휘가 상실되었다. 이로 인해 공인인증기관들은 방송통신위원회로부터 주민등록번호 대체수단 기반의 본인확인기관 지정심사를 통해 본인확인서비스 제공 기관으로 최근 지정받은 바 있다. 하지만, 기존의 주민등록번호 대체수단인 아이핀, 휴대폰, 그리고 신용카드들과 달리 인증서 발급 신청자의 신원확인 절차가 기존 대체수단들과는 상이한 부분이 존재하고 있다. 특히, 발급 신청자의 신원을 등록대행기관이 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전자서명 기반의 본인확인서비스 제공 시 대체수단 발급 과정에서 신원확인, 허무인 확인, 신원보증인 확인 등에 대한 개선방안들을 제안한다. 제안한 방안은 전자서명 기반의 본인확인서비스에 적용함으로써 이용자 개인정보보호와 보편·타당하고 안전한 본인확인서비스 제공이 가능함을 알 수 있다.

디지털 세계에서의 지식정보의 접근성은 개인, 직업, 국가의 발전을 위한 핵심인자로 부상하고 있다. 그러나 세계 출판물 가운데 인쇄물을 이용할 수 없는 사람을 위한 대체자료는 5%에 불과하다. 장애인은 자신들이 필요로 하거나 읽고 싶은 자료에 접근할 수 없는 문제를 최대의 장애로 인식하고 있다. 이에 이 연구는 주요 국가(미국, 캐나다, 영국, 스웨덴, 일본, 한국)의 장애인을 위한 대체자료 개발정책(주체와 역할, 재정과 지원, 생산과 배포시스템 등)을 정밀 분석하였다. 그리고 이 예비연구의 결과는 국내에서 대체자료를 생산 배포하기 위한 국가적 계획과 역할모형의 개발을 위한 배경정보로 활용될 것이다.

Purpose - This study's objective is to confirm the effects of the perceived relationship value, alternative attractiveness, and investment size on Korean food service franchisees' commitment, using an investment model. Among the three factors, the study examines which factors enhance or weaken the commitment in the franchising investment model. Research design, data, methodology - The data were collected from 495 franchisees and analyzed by a SEM (Structure Equation Model) using path analysis by SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Results - 1) The perceived relationship value has a positive effect on franchisee commitment. 2) The alternative attractiveness has a negative effect on franchisee commitment. 3) The investment size has a positive effect on franchisee commitment. Conclusions - The findings show that the investment model can be adapted to franchising and confirms previous investment model study results. We can assume that the higher the perceived relationship value and the bigger the investment, the stronger the commitment, and the greater the alternative attractiveness, the weaker the commitment. These results offer managerial implications for a franchisor wanting to strengthen franchisee commitment.
