본 연구는 3mol% Pb(Sb$_{1}$2/Nb$_{1}$2/)O$_3$가 첨가된 상경계 영역의 Pb(Zr,Ti)O$_3$(PSN-PZT) 세라믹스에 대하여 RT66A와 광섬유센서를 이용하여, 교류강전계 하에서 압전 및 유전특성을 조사하였다. PSN-PZT 세라믹스의 압전 및 유전 특성에 미치는 non-180$^{\circ}$분역 재배열의 영향을 평가하기 위하여 RT66A와 MTI-2000 Fotonic$^{TM}$ sensor를 이용하여 인가전계와 주파수의 함수로 전계유기변위를 측정하였다. 그 결과, 교류강전계 하에서 전계유기변위는 강전계, 저주파수에서 큰 이력현상을 나타내고, 전계유기변위로부터 결정된 유효압전상수는 주파수가 감소할수록 증가하는 거동을 나타내고 있으며, 이러한 거동은 non-180$^{\circ}$분역 재배열의 영향으로 해석되었다.

고분자 분리막의 구조가 투과율에 미치는 영향에 대해서는 지금까지 많은 연구가 행하여져 왔지만, 분자구조가 투과경로에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 아직 미미하며, black box approach만으로는 투과경로를 기술하기 어렵다. Impedance spectrowcopy는 막에 alternating electric field를 가해줌으로써 얻어지는 전류와 전압의 상관관계를 이용하여, 막내의 전해질의 투과에 대한 정보를 얻어내는 기기로써, dielectric loss spectra를 분석하면 투과물의 투과경로에 대한 정보도 얻을 수 있다. 전해질을 포함한 막의 dielectric loss ($\varepsilon"$) spectra는 다음의 식과 같이 두 부분으로 나뉘어 진다. $\varepsilon" = \varepsilon_{ac}" + \varepsilon_{dc}"$ (1) $\varepsilon_{dc}"$는 막을 통한 이온의 투과에 관계된 항이며, $\varepsilon_{ac}"$는 강한 dipole의 relaxation에 의해 나타나는 항이다. $\varepsilon_{dc}"$는 다음의 실험식에 의해 잘 기술되어진다. $\varepsilon_{dc}" = A\omega^{-n}$ 0

High-performance Current Source Inverter (CSI)-fed, variable speed alternating current drives are prepared for various industrial applications. CSI-fed Induction Motor (IM) drives are managed by using different control methods. Noteworthy methods include scalar Control (V/f), Input-Output Linearization (IOL) control, Field-Oriented Control (FOC), and Direct Torque Control (DTC). The objective of this work is to compare the dynamic performance of the aforementioned drive control methods for CSI-fed IM drives. The dynamic performance results of the proposed drives are individually analyzed through sensitivity tests. The tests selected for the comparison are step changes in the reference speed and torque of the motor drive. The operation and performance of different vector control methods are verified through simulations with MATLAB/Simulink and experimental results.

Electroluminescence(EL) come from the light emission obtained by electrical excitation energy passing through a phosphor layer under applied high electrical field. The preparation and characterizations of light emitting ACPEL(alternating-current powder electroluminescent) cell based on two kinds of phosphor mixed ZnS:Mn, Cu and ZnS:Cu phosphor. Basic structure is ITO/Mixed Phosphor/insulator/Al sheet, each layer was mixed by binder, which concentration 11p for phosphor, 8p for insulator. Dielectric properties was investigated first and emission properties of P-LED based on ZnS:Mn,Cu/ZnS:Cu,Br mixture. Emission spectra exhibits two kinds of main peaks at 100V, 1kHz sinusoidal excitation.

An in-situ four-electrode contact resistivity probe system was designed, and field-tested in submarine sediments. Seismic survey was also performed to support and compare the results of electric survey. The probe was designed to be driven to selected depths below the seafloor using a Vibracore system. The four insulated electrodes were, spaced equidistant across the wedge, were extended beyond the probe tip to minimize effects of sediment disturbance by the wedge insertion. In-situ measurements of resistivity were recorded on board by precision electronic equipment consisting of signal generators and processors, and by temperature- monitoring systems. Overall limits of uncertainty at respective depths below the seafloor are up to ±10% of the measured values. Best estimates of conductivity are considered to be ±3 percent of the reported values. Resistivity measurements were made at six sites in carbonate sediments to a maximum depth of penetration of about 5 m. Average values of conductivity range between 0.88 and 1.21 mho/m. The results show the seabed is composed of alternating layers of relatively high-conductivity material (0.8 to 1.4 mho/m) in thicknesses of more or less one meter and layers about 30 cm thick having relatively low conductivities (0.4 to 0.8 mho/m).

We studied the anchoring properties in photo-aligned periodic domains of liquid crystals (LCs) in an alternating homeotropic and hybrid geometry. In this geometry, the surface anchoring energy was determined in using the director-distorted length of the LC near domain boundary, calculated in a linear approximation of the director profile within the continuum theory. The measurements were made using the LC diffraction grating with the phase profile in the form of a trapezoid.

The effects of amino silane coupling agent on the AC electrical treeing and breakdown behaviors in an epoxy/layered silicate (1 wt%) were examined in needle-plate electrode geometry. A layered silicate was exfoliated in an epoxy base resin by using our AC electric field apparatus. To measure the tree initiation and propagation and the breakdown rate, an alternating current (AC) of 10 kV (60 Hz) was applied to the specimen in needle-plate electrode arrangement with a $30^{\circ}C$ insulating oil bath. In the epoxy/amino silane system, the tree initiation time was 11.5 times higher and the breakdown time was 17.9 times higher than those of the neat epoxy resin. The tree initiation time in the epoxy/layered silicate (1 wt%) system with the amino silane was 2.0 times higher, and the breakdown time was 1.5 times higher than those of the epoxy/layered silicate (1 wt%) system.

A contact-less power supply system (CPS) allows electrical energy to supply to mobile consumers without any electrical or mechanical contact. CPS works in the same principle as a transformer, with the track litz cable forming the primary circuit and the pickup as the secondary. The track power supply generates the high frequency alternating current in the track cable. The captured AC magnetic field generated by the track conductors produces electrical energy in the pickup coil and the pickup rectifier converts the high frequency AC power to DC while regulating the power to the load. This paper presents the theoretical analysis, simulation and experiment리 results of the series-parallel resonant converter working as contact-less power supply system.

This paper investigates magnetic field behavior and its iron losses in the stator core using electrical steels. The analysis model is a brushless motor with the permanent magnet. The elliptical rotating and alternating flux distributions with non-sinusoidal waveforms are obtained by Finite Element Method and then their harmonic components are extracted. Based on these results, the local iron losses in the stator core caused by the harmonic flux are calculated. Furthmore, this paper explains the relation between the complex flux waveform and iron loss produced in each part of the stator core.

The IB-SEM numerical method combines the spectral/hp element method and the rigid immersed boundary method. This method avoids the problems of low computational efficiency and errors that are caused by the re-division of the grid when the solids move. Based on the Fourier transformation and the 3D immersed boundary method, the 3D IB-SEM system was established. Then, using the open MPI and the Hamilton HPC service, the computational efficiency was increased substantially. The flows around a cylinder and a sphere were simulated by the system. The surface of the cylinder generates vortices with alternating shedding, and these vortices result in a periodic force acting on the surface of the cylinder. When the shedding vortices enter the flow field behind the cylinder, a recirculation zone is formed. Finally, the three-dimensional pore flow was successfully investigated.
