  • Distribution of relaxation time is presented in the Cole-Cole arc diagram with frequency parameter. In the case of estimation of activation energy for main chains, maximum loss frequencies of ${\alpha}$ peaks, f$\sub$m/(${\alpha}$) display curved change according to the WLF type with variations of temperature. Structural change by the filling of filler and degradation by the thermal aging can be estimated from the WLF factors, C$_1$and C$_2$in Log f$\sub$m/-1/T curves which reflect the variations of free volume and thermal expansivity of composites.

  • The problem of simultaneously estimating the pairwise differences of means of four independent normal populations with equal variances is considered. A statistical computing procedure involving a trivariate t density constructs the exact confidence intervals with simultaneous co verage probability equal to $1-\alpha$. For equal sample sizes, the new procedure is the same as the Tukey studentized range procedure. With unequal sample sizes, in the sense of efficiency for confidence interval lengths and experimentwise error rates, the procedure is superior to the various generalized Tukey procedures.

  • This paper proposes a simple feedforward compensator in order to decrease the amount of undershoots and overshoots on the step response in nonminimum phase systems. The compensator makes the step type input be a ramp input with saturation for 0$\leq$t<${\alpha}$. It is shown in this paper that the compensated system has small amount of undershoot and overshoot at the price of rise time compared to the system without compensator. Also, provided the system is properly stable, the influence of the design parameter ${\alpha}$ on the step response of the nonminimum phase system is investigated in the case of Type A, and Type B undershoot, which gives a guideline for the compensator design.

  • The powder characterization and sintering behavior of alkoxide-derived alumina powders prepared by esterification were investigated. The dried powders were calcined at 700$^{\circ}C$, 900$^{\circ}C$, 1080$^{\circ}C$, 1170$^{\circ}C$ for 1 h. and the resulting crystalline forms were amorphous, {{{{ gamma }} phase, {{{{ theta }}+{{{{ alpha }} phase, and {{{{ alpha }} phase, respectively. The sinterability was best in the case of being calcined at 1170$^{\circ}C$. It was most effective to disperse sintering additive in the initial stage from which acetate was formed. At 1600$^{\circ}C$ for 4 h, 98.5% of relative density was obtained when MgO and Fe2O3 were simultaneously doped, and dense sintered body whose density was near theoretical value was obtained when heating schedule was controlled.

  • The rearrangement reaction of azoxybenzenes into hydroxyazobenzenes in strongly acidic solution has been studied by an U. V. spectrophotometric method and by isolation of the rearranged compound. In all cases under investigation, it appeared that the oxygen atom in the azoxy group migrated to the unsubstituted ring, depending neither on the substituent already present in the other ring, nor on the distance between the oxygen atom and the eligible position; whereas, the position in the open ring, ortho or para, to which the oxygen migrates depends on the substituent already present in the other ring. In all compounds besides ${\alpha}$-and ${\beta}$-4-methyl azoxybenzene, the oxygen atom migrates to the para position. In the case of ${\alpha}$ and ${\beta}$-4-methylazoxybenzene, the oxygen atom migrates to the ortho position of the unsubstituted ring.

  • This study aims to find the theoretical consideration of the basic simularity rule between scale model experiment and real building as a results ; 1. In the case of room acoustics, $f_m=n\cdot{f_r}\;T_m=T_r/n\; \alpha_m(f_m)=\alpha_r(f_r)$ 2. That of sound Insulation : $TL_m(f_m)=TL_r(f_r)$

  • Let 0 < q < ${\infty}$. In this study, we introduce the spaces ${\mathcal{BV}}_q$ and ${\mathcal{LS}}_q$ of q-bounded variation double sequences and q-summable double series as the domain of four-dimensional backward difference matrix ${\Delta}$ and summation matrix S in the space ${\mathcal{L}}_q$ of absolutely q-summable double sequences, respectively. Also, we determine their ${\alpha}$- and ${\beta}-duals$ and give the characterizations of some classes of four-dimensional matrix transformations in the case 0 < q ${\leq}$ 1.

  • Active belite cement clinkers were synthsized by using natural raw materials with borax and calcium phosphate ({{{{ {Ca }_{3 }( {PO}_{4}) }}2) In both case {{{{alpha ^、 {C }_{2 }S }} were formed but borax was more efficient. The cement syn-thesized with the addition of borax was hydrated with the addition of anhydrite(5 wt%) and slag(30wt%, 40wt% 50wt%) The addition of 50wt% slag with anhydrite was good for strength development in 7days and the compressive strength was developed to twice than no addition of slag at 28 days strength.

  • For pure Molybdenum carburized in mixed gases of argon and carbon monoxide, microstructural observations were carried out. X-ray diffraction analysis for carburized specimens revealed that brittle ${\alpha}-Mo_2C$- layer hardly formed in the case of low carbon monoxide concentration. Fracture strength of the specimen carburized at 1673 K for 16 h is about 550 MPa higher than that of the un-carburized specimen. SEM observation revealed that with increasing carburizing temperature, the region demonstrating a transgranular fracture mode progressed towards the center of specimen. This result means that the grain boundaries were strengthened by the grain boundary diffusion of carbon and the strength of grain boundaries exceeded that of grain itself.

  • High-resolution solution conformation of a novel conotoxin, [Pro 7,13] $\alpha$A-conotoxin $P_{IVA}$, GCCGSYPNAACHPCSCKDROSYCGQ-N $H_2$, has been determined by two-dimensional $^1$H nmr methods in combination with distance geometry calculation to rmsd values of 0.90 $\AA$ and 1.16 $\AA$ for the backbone and heavy atoms, respectively. Total of 324 NOE-derived interproton distance restraints including 33 long-range NOE restraints a well as 11 $\Phi$ and 7 $\chi$$^1$ torsion angle restraints were used for computation of structures.
