Purpose: Small airports are social and economic enablers and facilitate businesses and individuals. They contribute significantly to the distribution and logistics of the local produce - be it goods or services, thereby impacting the economy but have limited access to funds and poor management restricts their development. Despite the importance, small airports in small cities struggle financially as they are unable to earn profits and have higher operating costs. In other words, this is a paradoxical situation for small airports wherein, despite losses, the regional or national public authorities still finance such airports under socio-economic obligations. Therefore, this study aims to identify the critical success factors for improving small airports' performance and propose a business model. Research design, data and methodology: Using the qualitative research, interviews with 16 stakeholders from Guwahati, Tirupati, Bhubaneswar and Dehradun airports in india were examined. Results: The analysis reveals strategic planning and low cost, non-passenger services, and development of airport economic region as the main factors contributing towards small airports' success. Additionally, providing logistics to the local businesses and creating niche markets are suggested. Conclusions: Small airports, based on their services and the means of targeting customers, could select the relevant approach to improve their overall performance and improve profitability.

Real time monitoring of object position is very important in Customs Free Zone like Incheon Airport and Incheon Harbor because all logistics must be controled spatially for effective management. Real time positioning system using GPS(Global Positioning System) is apt for the monitoring of logistics. In this study, we aims to develope real time monitoring system for logistics using GPS.

Public health doctors of Korea contributed significantly to massive coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) testing. They were immediately dispatched to epicenters of the COVID-19 pandemic, and have run tests at screening centers, airport quarantines and hospitals. However, their expertise from in-field experience has been often neglected. It is time to reorganize public health doctor system to better prepare for future epidemics. Transforming and strengthening their roles as public health experts through systematic training is crucial.

본 논문은 위기관리체계를 사전적(事前的)인 위험관리와 사후적(事後的)인 비상대응체계로 구분하여, 예방안전과 사고대응의 두 측면에서 국가적인 안전관리를 고찰하였다. 선행연구(홍석진, 2003)에서 선정된 위험인자를 토대로 관제, 공항 분야의 추가적인 위험인자를 보다 광범위한 설문조사 분석을 통해 선정하였으며, 체계적 분석(DEA)에 의해 구축된 중요인자들에 대하여 통계적 접근방법을 통해 위험인자의 중요도, 발생빈도의 분류기준과 위험지표 (Risk Indicator)를 개발하여 위험관리모형을 구축하고, 위험지표를 활용할 수 있는 방안과 위험관리모형을 적용하기 위한 개선안을 제시하였다. 비상대응체계에 있어서는 실제 사고사례분석과 해외의 법체계 고찰을 통해 국내의 개선방안을 도출하여 제시하였다.

Globalization of Economic activities have increased Company's interests about International Logistics Management. Expansion of International trade depends on International Logistics which can overcome distance and time. In In-cheon, There are many small scale and minor Freight Forwarders take advantage of being linked with a port, an airport but their inefficient paper works cause raising of Logistics costs and losing of competitive power. In this study, we design a web based ocean forwarder information system for freight forwarder to solve these problems. So, this system will provide decreasing operation time, human resources, and accessing easily because of web based system, and finally decrease logistics cost and improve national competitive power.

RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) study has received far less rigorous analysis in the system performance and integration level, and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) research has been studying to improve the maintenance efficiency in the operational steps based on collected data of real operational cases. This paper analyzes the basic concepts based on KS X ISO/IEC 15288 system life-cycle process in the whole system for the light rail transit construction, and the research suggests an approach to the management process of the applicable main tasks. The paper "Management Process Study to RAMS Application of Light Rail Transit System" introduces Airport Rail cases and guidelines by using RAMS which is the major role in the system engineering technical process of ISO/IEC 15288 (International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission 15288) to apply RAMS in domestic light rail transit efficiently, the aim of this study is to broaden of understanding RAMS.

This paper is developed to Energy Balance Flow show the flow of total energy resource be used nationally. The Energy Balance Flow is applicable of demand management factor through the analysis of foreign energy model of supply and demand and energy statistic data in the country. This study is based on and developed to Energy system management model is able to appraisal efficient of energy cost cutting, CO2 emission reduction and Energy saving at the national level calculated effect reached amount of primary energy to change of energy flow followed application of demand side management factor is able to appraisal quantitatively at the total energy to model of demand and supply.

SOC(Social Overhead Capital) projects such as road, power plant, airport or telecommunication facility construction require a large scale of cost, a long period of time and management of a number of sub-contractors. So systematic and efficient management tool in SOC projects is inevitable. Information system provides a valuable tool which can integrate and manage the large volume of information for SOC projects. This study investigates and analyzes the information system of nuclear power plant construction project. Based on this study, we can suggest the direction for designing information system for SOC projects.

The objective of this paper is to analyze the competitiveness of the Cargo Management improvement of FTZ(Free Trade Zone) in East Asia and to suggest several measures to improve it. To the end, various comparisons are made between the FTZ of Incehon and those in Hongkong, Taiwan, Shanghai. Competitive advantages of Incheon's FTZ over others lie in its better contiguity, frequency, quality service, and convenient connections associated with the airport. To be viable, however, the Incheon's FTZ needs to have strong supports from the central government such as more SOC investment, early introduction of RFID/UBIQUITOUS, improvement of customs process and logistics system, and competitive incentives to bring in more international channel hubs to this area. With these implemented promptly as suggested, the Incheon's FTZ will draw its competitive advantages over those in Taiwan and Shanghai and will play an vital role to bring in more MNEs to Korea.
