Purpose: This study aimed to determine the mediating effects of aggressive stress response on the association between clinical practice stress and clinical practice satisfaction in ophthalmic optics majors and provide basic data that could help form opticians' professionalism and make clinical practice more effective. Methods: This study was conducted in 236 sophomores and juniors in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province who had finished clinical practice. Hierarchical regression analysis and mediating effect testing were performed to determine the associations among clinical practice stress, clinical practice satisfaction, and aggressive stress response and determine the mediating effects of aggressive stress response on the association between clinical practice stress and clinical practice satisfaction. Results: Clinical practice stress was significantly negatively correlated with clinical practice satisfaction and aggressive stress response (p<0.01), and aggressive stress response was significantly positively correlated with clinical practice satisfaction (p<0.01). The association between clinical practice stress and clinical practice satisfaction was more likely to be explained by the addition of clinical practice stress than by being aggressive stress response controlled, which statistically significantly met the criteria for mediating effects (p<0.001). Conclusions: It is necessary to pay more attention to program development and teaching methods within the department of ophthalmic optics so that ophthalmic optics majors can utilize aggressive stress response to overcome clinical practice stress effectively and improve clinical practice satisfaction.
Providing care to the dementia elderly with behavioral problem is a major issue in nursing homes today. This study was aimed to explore the nursing staffs′ response to aggressive dementia patients, and the effect that the aggressive behavior had on Nsgstaff. The interviews used a semi-structured questionnaire are were carried out from May to July, 1999. The subjects were 23 nursing personnel working in the nursing homes for dementia elderly. The result are as follows; 1. The types of aggressive behavior cited by the subjects was "physical", "linguistic", and "sexual". 2. The factors that caused the behavior were "symptoms of disease", "under- conditioning", "context of nursing care", "unsatisfied need", "relationship to other patients", "change of outer environment", and "invasion of one′s own privacy". 3. The response of the subjects were "unhappiness", "stress", "anger", "exaggeration", "anxiety", and "fear". 4. The management strategies listed by nursing personnel used to alleviate aggressive behavior were "ignorance" "patience" "leaving the area" "soothing sounds" "verbal punishment" "restriction and isolation" and "various management skill appliance" "adaptation". 5. The effect that aggressive behavior and were "disturbance of relationship to elderly" "decline in the amount and quality of nursing care" "interruption of task performance" "job exhaustion" "desire to leave the job" "physical impact" "stress on the cognition of others" "anxiety about health and one own future" "interference to family life′. The findings of this study will be useful in understanding the difficulties of nursing personnel when confronting the aggressive behavior of dementia partients. It also is useful as basic data in preparing efficient intervention program for these difficulties.
Introduction: Diffuse large B-cell lymphomas (DLBCL) can be divided into germinal centre (GC-DLBCL) and post germinal centre (post GC-DLBCL) groups by applying immunohistochemical antibodies. As these subgroups respond differently to chemotherapy, it is possible at diagnosis to select a poor prognostic subgroup for aggressive treatment. Objective: To determine the frequencies of GC-DLBCL and post GC-DLBCL in patients by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and the clinical response after six cycles of chemotherapy. Subjects and Methods: In this descriptive study conducted in AFIP and CMH, Rawalpindi and NORI, Islamabad, from September 2010 to September 2011, a total of 75 pretreatment cases of DLBCL diagnosed during the study period were included. Cases were segregated in to GC-DLBCL and post GC-DLBCL groups according to results of immunohistochemistry markers CD10, BCL6 and MUM1. Immediate clinical response was assessed after 6 cycles of chemotherapy. Response was divided into complete response, partial response, stable disease or relapse or progression. Results: The mean age was $54.2{\pm}15$. Males were 53 (70.7%). Forty (53.3%) cases comprised the GC-DLBCL group; 25(62.5%) of them showed a complete response. Most patients of the post GC-DLBCL 19(54%) showed relapse/progression. Results of immediate clinical response in both prognostic subgroups were significant (p<0.05). Results regarding positivity with immunohistochemical antibodies CD10 (p 0.011), BCL6 (p 0.013) and MUM1 (p 0.000) regarding immediate clinical response were also significant. Conclusion: GC-DLBCL group shows better response to CHOP chemotherapy regimen. Immunohistochemistry should be used to further classify DLBCL as this can enable us to select aggressive group for aggressive treatment. This manuscript is important because the study is the first to becarried out exclusively in Pakistan or our part of the world.
The purpose of this study was to examine the differences between aggressive and nonaggressive boys with the use of a social information processing approach. The subjects were 80 3rd & 6th grade boys selected from a public elementary school in Seoul. The subjects were interviewed individually. Following the presentation of each story, five questions were asked. A 2 x 2 Analysis of Variance was performed for each of the 5 dependent measures. Results showed (1) Aggressive boys were more likely to attribute a hostile intention to the behavior of peer. (2) Aggressive boys predicted their own response as more hostile and aggressive. (3) The 6th graders generated more alternative solutions than the 3rd graders. (4) Non significant results are not reported in the abstract. (5) Aggressive boys were likely to choose an ineffective solution.

This study empirically verified whether aggressive order intake affect occurrence of defects of Korean construction companies. In order to compensate for the shortage of construction costs due to aggressive low-cost orders of contractors, self-response measures such as design changes are followed, and construction defects may be induced in this process. It aims to verify relevance between aggressive order intake and defect in construction empirically using financial accounting data. As a result, it was confirmed that an abnormal increase in order volume and a deterioration in profitability such as operating margin due to aggressive order taking behavior leads to a decrease in construction quality and occurrence of defects. In addition, it was also confirmed that low construction ability and intentional changes in construction design or contract conditions after construction commences were a direct causes of defects. The results of this study can serve as an opportunity to come up with measures to prevent defects by confirming the relationship between defects in construction and deterioration of profitability due to aggressive low-cost order takings.
The attack of environmental aggressive agents progressively reduces the structural reliability of buildings and infrastructures and, in the worst exposition conditions, may even lead to their collapse in the long period. A change in the material and sectional characteristics of a structural element, due to the environmental damaging effects, changes its mechanical behaviour and varies both the internal stress redistribution and the kinematics through which it reaches its ultimate state. To identify such a behaviour, the evolution of both the damaging process and its mechanical consequences have to be taken into account. This paper presents a computational approach for the analysis of reinforced and prestressed concrete elements under sustained loading conditions and subjected to given damaging scenarios. The effects of the diffusion of aggressive agents, of the onset and development of the corrosion state in the reinforcement and the corresponding mechanical response are studied. As known, the corrosion on the reinforcing bars influences the damaging rate in the cracking pattern evolution; hence, the damage development and the mechanical behaviours are considered as coupled phenomena. The reliability of such an approach is validated in modelling the diffusion of the aggressive agents and the changes in the mechanical response of simple structural elements whose experimental behaviour is reported in Literature. A second set of analyses studies the effects of the corrosion of the tendons of a P.C. beam and explores potentially unexpected structural responses caused by corrosion under different aggressive exposition. The role of the different types and of the different positions of the damaging agents is discussed. In particular, it is shown how the collapse mode of the beam may switch from flexural to shear type, in case corrosion is caused by a localized chloride attack in the shear span.
In this study, the influence of mothers' parenting behaviors on children's strategies and competence of emotional regulation was examined. Further, the mediating effects of children's active-social support seeking and aggressive strategies on the above relationship were explored. The participants were W mother-child pairs. The children were 5th and 6th graders at two elementary schools in Kyunggi province and Kwangju metropolitan area The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, Pearson correlations, standard multiple regressions and structural equation modeling analysis by LISREL 8.3. The main results of this study were as follows: (1) The more the mothers coached children with affection and reasoning, the more adaptive emotional regulation the children had; whereas children tended to have maladaptive emotional regulation in response to the mothers' rejecting and forceful parenting behaviors. Also, when children were coached by mothers with love, reasoning and consistent restriction, they used more active-social support seeking strategies, whereas they used more aggressive strategies when the mothers coached children with rejecting and forceful parenting behaviors. The more the mothers were rejecting, forceful and intervening, the more the children used passive-avoidant strategies. (2) The more the children used active-social support seeking strategies and the less the children used aggressive strategies, the more likely they had adaptive emotional regulation. The more the children used aggressive strategies, the more likely they had maladaptive emotional regulation. (3) Children's active-social support seeking strategies played a partial mediating role between mothers' affectionate and reasoned coaching and children's adaptive emotional regulation. These strategies, on the other hand, played a full mediating role between mothers' consistent restriction and children's adaptive emotional regulation. Children's aggressive strategies played a partial mediating role between mothers' rejecting and forceful parenting behaviors and children's maladaptive emotional regulation. Mothers' non-intervention had an influence on neither the children's aggressive strategies nor their maladaptive emotional regulation.
This study intends to add a factor to the discussion on the sectoral systems of innovation through Korea's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Korean approach is summarized as follows: the first response centers on technology and innovation. These include the development of diagnostic test methods and accurate test kits, first in the world, the use of ICT technology in epidemiological investigations, the technical response in the field, and the competitive edge in the development of medicine and vaccines that were behind the developed countries. The second response is an aggressive effort implemented just after the Chinese announcement, before the domestic outbreak; the third response is the open policy that induces voluntary participation of all subjects and people by opening all information. More important is the leadership at the national level shown in the past Korean experience and most advanced countries. National leadership must be the missing factor.
The purpose of this study was to explore differences in social information processing according to children's sex and types of aggression in response to instrumental and relational provocation factors. Two hundred and fifty-one 4, 5, and 6 graders were selected from an elementary school in Seoul. To evaluate their social information processing, the Intent Attributions and Feelings of Distress(Crick, 1995; Fitzgerald & Asher, 1987) and Response Decision Instrument(Crick & Werner, 1998) were revised and analyzed. A peer-nomination measure(Crick, 1995; Crick & Grotpeter, 1995) was used to select aggressive groups. Data were subjected to descriptive statistical analysis and multivariate [2(sex: M, F)${\times}$3(type of aggression: overt, relational, overt and relational aggression)] analysis of variance. Findings revealed that children's social information processing patterns were different according to sex and type of aggression. Also aggressive children responded differently in their social information processing according to instrumental and relational provocation factors. Implications of these findings for the role of gender, aggression type, and provocation type are discussed in order to better understanding of children's social information processing.
The Purpose of this study is to investigate and suggest a personality education approach for solving interpersonal problems of elementary school students that elementary school teachers are now confronted with. In this study, first of all, the actual conditions of interpersonal problems of elementary school students were examined focusing on interpersonal aggressions(violence and victim). The features and problems of existing approaches for solving interpersonal problems of elementary school students were indicated. Although existing approaches for solving interpersonal aggression problems took temporary and external changes, they failed to notice psychological hurts that victims and aggressive victims got. As a fundamental and systematic way for overcoming problems of existing approaches, forgiveness education based on empirical-scientific forgiveness researches was discussed. The Purpose of forgiveness education is to make victims(aggressive victims) overcome the negative responses derived from interpersonal conflict(hurts and victims) and to facilitate them to response positively through experiencing forgiveness psychological process. Lastly, necessary assignments and topics to use forgiveness education as an effective personality education approach were discussed.
