안면비대칭과 치은퇴축이 심한 환자의 심미치료 (Aesthetic treatment of patient with facial asymmetry and severe gingival retraction)

  • 전치부 심미 보철에서의 성공은 안모에서의 심미와 구강 내 주의 치아와 치주 조직간의 조화라 할 수 있다. 정상적인 교합평면을 가진 안면대칭의 환자에서는 여러 심미 책에 나오듯 기준을 잘 정하고 그 기준에 맞게 제작하면 별 탈없이 조화롭고 심미적인 보철을 제작할 수 있다. 하지만 안면 비대칭 환자의 경우 안면 대칭의 환자의 기준에 억지로 맞추어 제작하게 되면 심미적이지도 않을뿐더러 기능적이지도 않은 결과로 끝나기 쉽다. 또한 치은 퇴축이 심한 환자의 경우 달라진 치아주위 환경에 맞게 보철의 형태를 부여해야만 치주조직에 조화롭고 심미적이며 자정작용이 뛰어난 보철제작이 가능하다.

산업유산 공간의 사인디자인 평가 및 선호도 연구 (A study on the Evaluation and Preference on the Sign Design of the Industrial Heritages Space)

  • This study aims at evaluating the characteristics and the preference on the sign design in the industrial heritages space. The research were performed by the process of literature review, case study, and survey of questionnaire. Seven industrial heritage space in Korea and China regenerated as art and cultural space after 2000 were selected and evaluated by 6 criteria including integrity, continuity, simplicity, aesthetics, legibility and historic aspects. The findings were the following. First, the six criteria factors were evaluated as the similar scores in the assessment of 7 sites without extremity. Simplicity was the highest score while historicality was the lowest one. It means that the characteristics of the sign systems of the heritage sites were focused on the simple, contemporary and effective design. Second, integrity, continuity, aesthetics, legibility were evaluated as the medium score in the sign design. While, in the evaluation on the aesthetics the score differences were comparatively high. Sanhai M50 which got the highest score showed the integrity of contrast using yellow and grey color with minimal design. However, Sanghai M50 got the lowest score in the historic aspects and was evaluated as the most favorite sign design in the preference. It means that the historic aspects have no direct relationship with the preference for the sign design. It shows that the effectiveness with integrity and the aesthetic aspects are considered more importantly than the application of the historic identity of the site in sign design.

가로 활성화를 위한 가로변 노천카페의 유형별 설계요소 평가 (An Evaluation of Design Factors with Sidewalk Cafes for Street Revitalization)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 노천카페의 유형을 분류하고, 평가기준을 선정하여 유형별로 평가함으로써 추후 노천카페 가이드라인을 만들 때 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 가로와의 관계성 관점에서 노천카페의 유형을 분류하기 위하여 가로변 노천카페의 전수조사가 시행되었다. 그리고 평가기준을 선정하기 위하여 문헌 조사와 중요도 조사가 사용되었고, 데이터의 분석에는 기술통계분석, 요인분석 등과 같은 통계방법들이 사용되었다. 그 결과, 노천카페의 유형은 가로와의 관계성 관점에서 가로돌출형, 가로개폐형, 혼합입체형, 가로앙각형, 사인제공형 등 5개 유형으로 분류되었다. 평가항목의 5개 요인은 접근성, 심미성, 정체성, 환경성, 문화성이었는데, 이 5개 요인의 누적기여율은 68.731%로 높은 편이었다. 이러한 평가항목을 토대로 조경 전문가 4인이 5점 리커트 방식으로 평가를 실시하였다. 유형별 평가 결과, 가로돌출형과 가로개폐형은 '심미성'과 '문화성'의 평가점수가 가장 낮았고, 혼합입체형은 '문화성'의 평가점수가 가장 낮았으며, 가로앙각형은 '접근성', '심미성', '문화성', 사인제공형은 '접근성', '정체성', '환경성'의 점수가 낮았다. 지표별 평가 결과, '문화성'의 평가점수가 가장 낮았고, 항목별 평가 결과, '장애인의 안전성', '프로그램의 흥미성', '출입의 개방성'의 평가점수가 가장 낮았다. 본 연구는 국내에서 요구와 관심은 높지만 연구가 미흡한 분야인 노천카페의 유형을 분류하고, 유형별 평가를 수행하여 정책적 시사점을 제공하였다는 것에 의의가 있다. 그러나 소로변의 노천카페만 대상으로 하였으므로 추후 주변 환경의 차이에 대한 고찰을 위하여 다양한 환경의 노천카페를 대상으로 해야 할 것이다. 또한 전문가가 평가를 시행하였으므로 추후 이용자 입장에서의 중요도와 만족도 조사도 시행되어야 할 것이다.

여자 중·고등학생의 개인주의-집단주의에 따른 교복태도와 교복선택기준 (Attitude toward Uniform and Evaluation Criteria toward Uniform according to Individualism-collectivism of Middle and High School Girls)

  • The purpose of this study is to classify individualism-collectivism into groups and analyze the difference of attitude toward uniform and evaluation criteria toward uniform. Questionnaires are being administered to 369 middle and high school girls in Deagu province. The Frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, cluster analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA, Duncan-test, and t-test are used for data analysis. Individualism-collectivism factors are found to be other focus, individuality focus, competition consciousness, love of family, and self-esteem. Attitude toward uniform are categorized into fashion pursuit, symbol of role, conformity, color, and neatness. Evaluation criteria toward uniform is categorized into 7 factors: practicality, care, promotion, aesthetics, service, brand focus, and regulation focus. Individualism-collectivism are classify into three groups such as high individualism-collectivism, low individuality, and high individuality. Individualism-collectivism shows a significant correlation with the sub-variable attitude toward uniform and evaluation criteria toward uniform. The groups show a significant difference in the attitude toward uniform and evaluation criteria toward uniform. There is a significant difference among individualism-collectivism, attitude toward uniform, and evaluation criteria toward uniform by the middle and high school girls.

대학생들의 인터넷 패션쇼핑몰 및 의류제품 평가기준 (Evaluative Criteria for Internet Fashion Shopping Mall and Clothing of University Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide useful information which would help web-site planning and design, product composition, and service of internet shopping malls. The sample consisted of 693 university students who had visited(Ed- in this case 'visit' means to enter an internet site; note also that the past perfect tense already conveys the meaning of 'experience') internet fashion shopping malls or purchased clothing through internet. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, frequency, t-test, and ANOVA(LSD) using SPSSWIN. The results were as follows: 1) The evaluative criteria of internet fashion shopping malls could be categorized by 4 factors: product presentation method, design, product information, sales promotion & additional service; the first of which was found to be the most important. These criteria showed significant differences according to the period and time of access. Furthermore, the degree of consideration for these criteria was high, whereas the degree of satisfaction was low. 2) The evaluative criteria of clothing could be categorized by 6 factors: general characteristics of products, wearing comfort & ease of management, popularity & status symbolism, service, aesthetics, and textiles materials; the first of which was found to be the most important. These criteria were significantly different according to the periods, time, and purposes of access, and purchase experiences.

물질주의 가치에 따른 가방 구매행동 연구 (A Study on Bag Purchase Behaviors according to Materialism Value)

  • This study aimed to investigate bag purchase behaviors according to materialism value. The subjects were 443 male and female adult consumers in their 20s to 50s. The research method was a survey, and the questionnaire consisted of questions on materialism value, bag purchase behaviors, and demographic characteristics. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Cronbach's α, χ2 test, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan's multiple range test were performed. The results of this study were as follows. First, materialism value was derived from three factors (happiness pursuit, possession-oriented, and success judgment). Second, subjects could be divided into three groups (happiness pursuit group, success judgment pursuit group, and immaterialism group) based on the materialism value variable. Third, the derived groups showed many differences in bag purchase behaviors. The happiness pursuit group considered all bag evaluation criteria factors (practicality, aesthetics, economy, symbolism) and bag purchasing information sources factors (mass media and personal sources) more than other groups, and showed a tendency to prefer select shops and complex shopping malls as bag purchasing places. In addition, the average annual cost and frequency of purchasing bags of this group were higher than those of other groups. The success judgment pursuit group considered symbolism as a bag evaluation criteria more than other groups, and considered personal sources as bag purchasing information sources more than mass media sources, and preferred luxury stores and department stores as bag purchasing places. On the other hand, the immaterialism group considered practicality and aesthetics as bag evaluation criteria and placed less importance on all information sources than other groups, and preferred Internet shopping malls as purchasing places. This group had the lowest average annual purchase cost and frequency among the three consumer groups. This study suggested that materialism value is a useful variable to segment male and female adult consumer markets effectively, and to understand the bag purchase behaviors of consumer groups divided by materialism value.

한.중 소비자의 웨딩드레스 스타일 선호도, 정보원, 점포선택기준에 대한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Analysis of Wedding Dress Style Preference, Information Source, and Store Selection Criteria for Korean and Chinese Consumers)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore differences in style preference, information source, and store selection behaviors of Korean and Chinese wedding dress shoppers. Data obtained from 141 Chinese and 143 Korean females were analyzed through descriptive analysis, t-test, cross-tabulation and factor analysis. Results for Chinese and Korean consumers depended on the marketer-driven information source as well as on the consumer-driven information source. Both groups considered the aesthetics of the wedding dress as the most important criterion for store selection. There were some differences between Chinese and Korean consumers in style preferences and store selection criteria. Chinese consumers liked a wider range of wedding dress styles compared to Korean consumers. Also, Chinese consumers regarded fashionability as more significant whereas Koreans considered economic benefits more importantly when selecting stores for a wedding dress.

융합인재교육(STEAM)을 위한 중학교 기술·가정교과 의생활 영역의 학습준거 개발 및 내용분석 (Development of Learning Criteria and Contents Analysis of Clothing Domain in Technology and Home Economics for STEAM Education)

  • This study developed the learning criteria for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics to establish the theoretical background of the education pursued by STEAM. The learning criteria was developed on a basis of 6 kinds of Technology Home Economics textbooks by 2009 Amended Curriculum, and the factors of STEAM were extracted according to related contents. From the results of this study, the unit 'Dress and Self-expression' assimilated T.E.A.M with learning related to clothing psychology, consumer behavior, fashion design, and Korean fashion. The unit 'eco-friendly clothing and fixing clothes' was found to assimilate S.T.E.A.M. with learning related to clothes science and dress structure. Accordingly we can understand this unit also consists of the S. T. E. A. M assimilation such as clothes science, fashion marketing, dress structure, dress aesthetics, design and so on. Both units 'dress and self-expression' and 'eco-friendly clothing and fixing clothes' were found to consist of suggesting situations, creative planning and emotional experience following the learning criteria of STEAM. Therefore, these units will be the basic material for developing STEAM programs centering upon 'Home Economics' among the curriculum.

An Efficient Engineering Design Education Framework in Information Network Engineering

  • Design factors such as design objects establishment, analysis, synthesis, production, test and evaluation should be educated in a systematic way. Also design ability to reflect practical restrictive conditions such as industrial standards, economic feasibility, environmental impact, aesthetics, safety and reliability, ethical impacts and social impacts should be cultivated. In this paper, we explain the meaning of these terms and propose a systematic engineering design education framework satisfying Korean engineering education accreditation criteria. We also present a simple implementation in information network engineering.

  • The major advantage of transparent materials over traditional materials in noise barriers is aesthetics. The transparent panel materials such as clear plastic or glass are an ideal way of reducing or virtually eliminating the visual impact of a noise barrier. With the use of transparent materials, the drivers' view of the roadside and the sunlight penetration to the highway would not be blocked. With the use of transparent materials, the highway and barrier appear less imposing. Korean Industrial Standards for soundproof panels have been established. But, transparent soundproof panels are not included in this standards. And, some specifications provide only a few basic characteristics for transparent soundproof panels. To develop guidelines on quality criteria for transparent soundproof panel, their mechanical properties such as wind load resistance, safety under impact, and abrasion resistance were experimentally investigated.
