Providing explanations about recommending actions is one of the most important capabilities of expert systems. In fact, there exist many approaches incorporating this explanation facility into the system. Here we present briefly a new approach to generating these explanations and further attempt to investigate the impact of system explanations on user behaviors toward system-generated recommendations. For this experiment we designed a stock investment decision supporting system which, given a set of market situations, suggests an investment recommendation with explanations about the recommending action. Twenty-nine bank employees evaluated the output of the system in a laboratory setting. The results indicate that explanation facilities can make systems-generated advice more confident to users but cannot increase users'acceptance for the system conclusion.

Recently we published new edition of 'child & Adolescent health record book' considering easy usability and introduction of new vaccines. This record book has essential and important contents for caring our children and adolescents. Currently many people use various vaccination record books with wrong and poor contents. We suggest the campaign that every pediatrician must give our well made record book to these people. This campaign can give their children an opportunity for proper vaccination and medical checkup. Ultimately through this campaign, the role and importance of pediatrician in the fields of vaccination and bring up children and adolescents will be recognized. We trust that the better record book can be made with continuous interest and active advice of all Korean Pediatric Society members about the contents and usability of this book.

Fashion business is undergoing a severe competition because of the various consumers' needs, over production, and short product life styles. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of personalization in apparel shopping. Characterizing the notion of the personalization typology, investigating the effect of personalization to different consumers, and providing useful issues to draw more target consumers are to be accessed. For empirical research a survey method was employed. A measure for personalization in apparel shopping was developed based in existing scale items and pilot study. Consumers responded highly on design personalization in shopping apparel products. Factor analysis extracted six dimensions of apparel product personalization. Six types of personalization were: "personalized advice", "personalized design choice", "personalized fit", "sales-promotion personalization", "personalized costomer relationship management" and "in-store personalization".

There have been strong arguments that the best organizational type for the information society is a network organization which is intelligent and learning-oriented as well as has problem solving capacities rather than a traditional passive organization which strictly follows standard operating procedures. In this perspective, integrated information work environment emerges as attractive work environment for the 21st century. Integrated information work environment is defined as an integrated electronic environment that is available to and readily accessible be each employee and is structured to provide immediate, individualized on-line access to the full range of information, software, guidance, advice and assistance, data, images, tools, and assessment and monitoring systems to permit job performance with minimal support and intervention by others. Case study was performed to measure the productivity improvement by implementing integrated information work environment in life insurance company. The results show that there is a number of indications of strong work productivity improvements.

This work is based on the experience of active and successful organic marketing initiatives, and aims to provide advice for genuine and practical sustainability. To make successful marketing possible we describe, on the one hand, the main challenges of the market and policy environment for organic marketing initiatives and, on the other hand, key factors for management. Management planning is a key issue for successful marketing and is therefore the focus of special attention in this work. This paper summarises and highlights those key factors which influence the operations of an organic marketing initiative. These include the role of key individuals, the role of innovation, the importance of strategic planning and clear objectives, the role of coherence, motivation and identity, brand policy, the role of networks, the importance of market research, public funding, economies of scale, systematized cooperation, hazards and risks in general.

Modern chemical processes are becoming more complicated. The sophisticated chemical processes have needed the fault diagnosis pxpert systems that can detect and diagnose the fault diagnosis expert systems that can detect and diagnose the faults of some processes and give and advice to the operator in the event of process faults. We present the Time-Delay Neural Network(TDNN) approach for on-line fautl diagnosis. The on-line fault diagnosis system finds the exact origin of the fault of which the symptom is propagated continuously with time. The proposed method has been applied to a pilot distillation column to show the merits and applicability of the TDNN.

This paper aims to inform people how to support each other on social media. It alludes to an architecture for social media discourse and proposes a novel theory of support in social media discourse. It makes a methodological contribution. It combines predominately artificial intelligence with corpus linguistics analysis. It is on a large-scale dataset of anonymised diabetes-related user's posts from the Facebook platform. Log-likelihood and precision measures help with validation. A multi-method approach with Discourse Analysis helps in understanding any potential patterns. People living with Diabetes are found to employ sophisticated high-frequency patterns of device-enabled categories of purpose and content. It is with, for example, linguistic forms of Advice with stance-taking and targets such as Diabetes amongst other interactional ways. There can be uncertainty and variation of effect displayed when sharing information for support. The implications of the new theory aim at healthcare communicators, corpus linguists and with preliminary work for AI support-bots. These bots may be programmed to utilise the language patterns to support people who need them automatically.

This study explores perspectives on responding to EFL students' compositions at the semantic level. In the last three decades, there has been a shift from product-oriented approach to process-oriented one to teaching writing. The shift has led to the criticism of the traditional view on teacher response. The traditional view has been under attack for its overemphasis upon form and ineffectiveness on improving student writing skill. It is also noted that research into students' reactions to the traditional teacher response has been inconclusive. The process-oriented approach, on the other hand, draws its attention to meaning and the logical development of thought as well as linguistic matters. In this context, the present study discusses what EFL teachers need to take into account in providing the semantic-level feedback on students' compositions. Firstly, teacher response to student writing is on-going; teacher feedback involves teacher intervention in the drafting process, the revision process, and the presentation of product. Secondly, in the writing conferences, the teacher provides students an opportunity to talk about writing, assistance and advice on the content/meaning of the written text, helping them expand and clarify thinking about audience(reader) and purpose.

The purpose of this research is to analyze teacher's lesson language pattern based on robot class. For this research as an analytical tool AF (Advanced Flanders) was utilized. Actually ClassReport ver 1.0 computer program was used in the process of input data. From the results of the Flanders index, The major instruction sequences were 4-8-3 in elementary school and 4-8 in middle school. The teacher's remarks in robot class in the elementary school rank 'instruction', 'question'. And In the middle school rank 'instruction' and 'positive advice' are very high ratio, but 'indication' is low ratio. The teacher constantly teach and ask question ratio in the middle school was higher than elementary school. But a tendency for non-indication was low ratio in the middle school than elementary school. These results could provide effective cues and information on how to to improve instruction.

A previously healthy 57-year-old woman with dyspnea and wheezing presented to the emergency department a few minutes after exposure to unknown gas from mixing bleach (sodium hypochlorite) and cleaning agent (hydrochloric acid) at work place. Initial physical examination revealed severe wheezing on both whole lung fields, but the chest radiograph was normal. Arterial blood gas analysis showed only moderate hypoxemia. The patient was treated with oxygen, $\beta$adrenergic bronchodilators, antihistamines and corticosteroids, after then symptoms were improved. And the patient discharged against medical advice. We report a rare case of reactive airways dysfuntion syndrome from chlorine gas exposure.
