The switched reluctance motor(SRM) drive system provides a good adjustable speed and torque characteristics. However, because of the torque production mechanism, it also has some disadvantage such as higher torque ripple and fluctuation in speed. To reduce torque ripple and to control speed precisely, digital signal processor(BSP) is adopted. The DSP TMS320F241 was used to be realized this drive system. Test results show that the suggested control system has the ability of dynamic and precise speed control.

The paper describes developed method of feedforward digital modulation of line-to-line voltage of 3-phase inverter for drive application. It is based on representation of parameters of output voltage of inverter in function of operating frequency of drive system. Pure algebraic control laws and big computational simplicity characterize this scheme of modulation. It has been presented results of simulation of adjustable drive systems with the method of pulse-width modulation described.

When the LRT is not feasible, we define quasi-LRT(QLRT) as a modification of the LRT Under some appropriate conditions the QLRT shares Bahadur optimality and Bartlett Adjustability with the LRT. When we can find maximum likelihood estimator under the null parameter space but not under the unrestricted parameter space, our QLRT is Bahadur optimal as is the LRT We suggest the stopping rule of the Newton-Raphson iterations for constructing the QLRT statistics which are Bartlett adjustable.

A flywheel system which can compensate electric power is presented. The designed system has a capability of providing real and imaginary power instantaneously as well as storing energy. In this paper, a control algorithm is designed. The designed algorithm is to control the secondary side current of the wound rotor induction motor using voltage-based PWM inverter. The flywheel system has advantages in converter size and power quality improvement comparing to the conventional system.

This paper describes the structure Identification of nonlinear function using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference Technique(ANFIS). Nonlinear mapping relationship between inputs and outputs were modeled by Sugeno-Takaki's Fuzzy Inference Method. Specially, the consequent parts were identified using a series of 1st order equations and the antecedent parts using triangular type membership function or bell type ones. According to learning Rules of ANFIS, adjustable parameters were converged rapidly and accurately.

The homogeneous line broadening in EDF leads to unstable lasing and strong mode competition. In this paper a multiwavelength fiber ring laser that overcomes these effects by using variable attenuators between the DWDM and $1{\times}N$ coupler, has been proposed. Fiber ring lasers with four and eight wavelength outputs are implemented, and we show that the output powers can be adjusted with stable operation. The EDF ring laser has one four-wavelength output and four of single wavelengths, with OSNR of 50 and 60 dB respectively.

The intrinsic simplicity, ruggedness, and simple power electronic drive requirement of a switched reluctance motor (SRM) make it a viable use for many commercial adjustable speed applications. However, higher torque ripple is one of the few disadvantages of the SRM drives. This paper describes the robust control scheme that permits the phase torque flatted by adaptive reference model.

The saturated vapor density correlation proposed here relates logarithmic density to the inverse of temperature. Its performance is examined correlating the date listed in the ASHTAE tables for 40 refrigerants. The correlation equation is valid over the entire range where data point exist and gives better results than a conventional equation with the same number of adjustable coefficients. Number of terms in the equation is a variable so that great flexibility can be given to the representation of data.

We have developed a series of fluorinated dimethacrylate copolymers. Our work has covered the synthesized derivatives of alignment materials, characterized the pretilt angle and uniformity of liquid crystal alignment layer. The pretilt angle can be tailored by using the fluorinated copolymer. Excellent uniformity was achieved as shown in experimental results.

The attempt to distinguish between graphite and domestic anthracite was means, especially electric resistance. The specific resistance values of various coals and graphites were determined by Wheaston Bridge equipped with more finely adjustable slide wire. The result of graphite was in the below of 0.08 ohm-cm and that of anthracite has $10^{-1}{\sim}10^1$ohm-cm range.
