The fact that colloidal particulates of rdaiogold are mainly and effectively eliminated from the blood stream by phagocytic activity of Kupffer's cells of the liver has been successfully adopted to the diagnosis if certain liver diseases and the same principle has opened a new avenue to the study of the organ by obtaining scan. Indeed, the latter procedure has been widely used for the detection of space-occupying lesions of cirrhosis of the liver. Nevertheless problem of differential diagnosis of monochromatic "cold" areas or "mottling" of the internal structure on the scan limited the value of this diagnostic modality. The present investigation is aimed at improving intepretation of photoscan findings with the aid of blood clearance rate of the intravenously injected colloidal $^{198}Au$.

This paper proposes the planning and design of the Eco-village centering around Chindo-ri, Muju-kun. The Eco-village project has three basic objects the Eco-village residents' lives adapting to ecological principles such as regeneration and circulation, life agricultural techniques based on organic cycle, and residents' harmonious lives with the surrounding nature. For constructing of the Eco-village, first, the subject area was analyzed in terms of the natural and cultural environment and then, on this analytic ground the concrete concept and the specific plan were set up. The following details also should be considered: the scale of the residential household, the population, the space arrangement of the village, the material cycling structure, the waste treatment, the purification of the sewage, the energy supply, the landscape architecture, the production activity, the conservation of the ecosystem and so on.

Underwear is laundered frequently and most of them is made of cotton, but a cotton fiber is more difficult to modify than a synthetic fiber. We have attempted to determine the optimum conditions necessary whereby the lowest concentration of silver solution is needed to produce the greatest antimicrobial properties of cotton fabrics. For this study, colloidal silver was made by electrolysis. The concentration of colloidal silver was increased by increasing the area of the silver plates submerged in the water, the water temperature, the water hardness and the flow time of the water per 1l. However, the colloidal silver concentration was decreased by extending a space between the silver plates and increasing the water velocity. Cotton fabrics treated in the washing machine with 1.3 ppm colloidal silver solution for 10 minutes had effective microbial properties and an unperceivable reduction of reflectance.

However, recently it comes the argument of skeptic of web 2.0 problem. Thus, In this research I will try to give an right comprehension and will try to have more accurate prediction of web 2.0 with the study of open service of web which is the key of web 2.0 success in a future.

We utilize Sloan Digital Sky Survey DR7 spectroscopy of ~600 emission line galaxies (ELGs) in the Virgo and Ursa Major clusters to investigate their chemical properties depending on the environments. We derived chemical abundances of galaxies using either a direct estimation of the electron temperature or empirical calibrations. We also estimated star formation rates (SFRs) using H alpha and GALEX ultraviolet (UV) luminosities. We see no significant difference of UV colors and SFRs of ELGs between the Virgo and Ursa Major, indicating weak dependence of their star formation activity on global cluster environment. We also discuss the segregation of gas-phase element abundances in cluster environment.

Oral appliance therapy is a simple, reversible way for improving snoring and/or obstructive sleep apnea. It may be indicated for the patients who are unable to tolerate continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) or who have potential risks for surgical intervention. Oral appliance therapy increases airway space by the providing stable anterior positioning of the mandible, pulling out tongue, lifting up soft palate, or changing the muscle activity of the genioglossus. Currently, more than 80 different types of oral appliances have been introduced for snoring and/or obstructive sleep apnea. They are classified by their characteristics such as mode of action, adjustability and material used. This article provides a detailed clinical protocol and treatment procedure for oral appliance therapy.

The X-ray spectra of late type stars can generally be well fitted by a two temperature component model of the corona. We find that the temperatures of both components are strong functions of stellar age, although the temperature of the hotter plasma in the corona shows a larger scatter and is probably affected by the activity of stars, such as flares. We confirm the power-law decay of the temperature of the hot plasma, but the temperature of the cool plasma component decays linearly with log(age).

To estimate free magnetic energy stored in an active region is a key to the quantitative prediction of activity observed on the Sun. This energy is defined as an excess over the potential energy that is the lowest energy taken by a magnetic structure formed in the solar atmosphere including the solar corona. It is, however still difficult to derive the configuration of a coronal magnetic field only by observations, so we have to use some observable quantity to estimate free magnetic energy. Recently, by performing a coordinated series of three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic simulations of an emerging flux tube that transfers intense magnetic flux to the solar atmosphere we have found an universal power-law relation between free magnetic energy and emerged magnetic flux, the latter of which is a possibly observed quantity. We further investigate what causes this relation through a comparison with a model of linear force-free field.

The purpose of this research is to examine residents' needs for shared community spaces and to explore the relationships between these needs and characteristics of consumers such as age and employment status of the homemakers, family life cycle stage, occupation of the primary income provider, housing size, and homeownership. Statistical data were compiled to determine frequencies and percentage distributions, and subjected to General Linear Model and Duncan-test analysis.Most residents wanted to utilize the basements of their complexes for storage space. Further interest was shown for shared community spaces that would be run by residents themselves, such as vegetable gardens, indoor playgrounds for children, senior citizen's activity rooms, walking paths, study rooms, and lounges. Female residents under 45 years old were likely to express needs for storage spaces for bicycle, and multipurpose rooms for meetings and family events. Female residents with jobs were more likely to desire shared community spaces than full-time females residents were. These findings imply the need for consideration of diverse plans rather than uniform ones. This results can be usefully applied to develop new apartment housing for different social class residents.

The theme of this study is holistic healing environment of children's library and it was researched on the basis of anthroposophy theory of Rudolf Steiner. According to Steiner's theory, human being consists of body, spirit, and soul. Especially, children are sensitive ones, and through synthetic function of 12 kinds of senses, they can be holistically healed (healing of body, spirit, and soul). As the sense independently functions or it is a element that cannot be described, it needs spatial plan to support synthetic function of it. We classified the healing space's meaning of children library by motion (including art and music), reading, & landscape healing activities and analyzed spatial characteristic to support each activity.
