Noise problem that occurs on the road is raising a lot of problems in the economic, social and environmental aspects. The objective of this paper is to propose ANC(active noise cancellation)-based road traffic noise reduction algorithm-model which can reduce noise by generating frequency opposed to noise sources to improve and complement the problem that existing physical form of a noise barrier. In this paper, we measured the noise characteristic from collection of two difference car noise also ANC simulation has been performed by using road traffic noises input. In order to compare the control performance, we performed noise reduction simulation of ANC by filtered-X LMS algorithm and delayed control signal injection. As a result of this simulation, we confirmed that convergence performance and noise decrease effect to the filtered-X LMS algorithm by inputting the road traffic noise.

The collection and transfer of records is a very basic stage in the whole process of records and archives management. However they are regarded as an non-professional art of work in records management that are performed easily by everyone. Therefore they have been treated not properly in the scholarly discussion of archival sciences in Korea. The collection and transfer of records play an active role in the making of effective administrative system, in accumulating and sharing the knowledge and informations of political, economical, social and cultural values. On the basis of proper collection and transfer of records our democracy can operate regularly and our daily experiences can be preserved as historical resources. For the optimal-functioned collection and transfer of public records the archivists for this task must have a comprehensive understanding of whole process of records management and possess suitable professional skills. Moreover there are many sorts of preliminary works needed for this task, as follows: an accurate defining of administrative organizations and their tasks, thorough understanding of records management institutions on their own competence and ability, and the establishment of technical standards for their tasks. Additionally the archivists are able not only to consider the present informational and evidential values of the records, but also the historical values. It can be said that the collection and transfer of records is a "synthesis of records management skills" exerted by an archivist. According to the newly established law of public records management, the collection and transfer of public records must be registered at first electronically. Through this procedure the whole contents of produced and transmitted records, which are to be transferred, can be reported in detail. By means of this report the archival institutions and the archivists can trace back the each items of records(archives) and the result of their arrangement to identify a certain object. There are also new storage strategies employed to increase the whole sum of stored informations, i. e. records and archives, in spite of reducing the storage costs. It will be achieved by differentiations of the preservation methods for each sorts of records by the criteria of storage-period, -place, and -method. Many supplementary methods are also prepared to help the collection of important records(archives) in a complete structure and form. To let this new concept and system of collection and transfer of records operate properly, a number of professional archivists should be posted in the needed places throughout the whole administrative body. Their training must be also updated for the newly defined task of collection and transfer of records.

Due to heightened concerns regarding possible bioterrorist attacks, the Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention introduced syndromic surveillance systems, which have been run by emergency departments in hospitals throughout Korea since 2002. These systems are designed to identify illness clusters before diagnoses are confirmed and reported to public health agencies, to mobilize a rapid response, and thereby to reduce morbidity and mortality. The Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention performed drop-in syndromic surveillance successfully during the World Cup Football Games in 2002, the Universiad games in 2004, and the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in 2005. In addition, sustainable syndromic surveillance system involving the collaborative efforts of 125 sentinel hospitals has been in operation nationwide since 2002. Because active data collection can bias decisions a physician makes, there is a need to generate an automatic and passive data collection system. Therefore, the Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention plans to establish computerized automatic data collection systems in the near future. These systems will be used not only fur the early detection of bioterrorism but also for more effective public health responses to disease.

Ad hoc 네트워크는 고정된 기반 망의 도움없이 이동 단말만으로 구성된 자율적이고 독립적인 네트워크로 최근 다양한 분야에서의 활용이 논의되고 있다. 그러나, ad hoc 네트워크는 구성이 변하기 쉬운 환경이므로 불법 노드가 네트워크 자원소비 및 경로방해 등의 동작이 용이하므로 라우팅 프로토콜 보호가 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 해쉬함수만을 이용한 경로발견 프로토콜과 해쉬함수 및 공개키 암호화 방식을 이용한 경로발견 프로토콜을 제안한다. 첫 번째 제안한 프로토콜은 active 공격에 약하나 전송패킷의 데이터 양이 적고 각 홉에서 처리하는 연산량이 적다는 장점이 있으며 두 번째 제안한 프로토콜은 active 공격에 강하다.

This study was intended to probe the scheme for correctly making Korean fashion design known to the world. It is because its suggestion could find out in the current influence of Japanese designer works led to fashion in Europe and the U.S. It can be said that this success was attributed to Japanese high economic growth, increased interests in fashion, increased awareness of the fashion industry, production of designers activity in the world area, systematic and active support of the fashion circles and government for the fashion industry and so on. Korean government has recently begun to attempt to nurture Koreanism or Korean look as world-class fashion. But there are a considerable number of obstacles in making Koreanism or Korean look known to the world due to such several factors as the lack of interests in fashion, the lack of globally active designers, and the like. It is necessary to nurture the fashion industry and educate and train designers for the long-term perspective. In addition, both the government and the fashion circles need to provide for more active and reasonable policy for holding the Korean Fashion Fair, expanding the Seoul Collection to the more global level, opening the way for new designers, and so forth. Furthermore, our academic circles need to make much research on the scheme for the glottalization of Koreanism or Korean look.

Electric power collection is one of the most important factors for the high-speed trains' operation. For the stable current collection, the contact wire of a catenary and the panhead of a pantograph should maintain a constant contact each other. In this paper, the catenary was modeled as a spring with time-varying stiffness from the point of a pantograph moving along the catenary, and the pantograph was modeled as a 3-D.O.F. mass-spring-damper system. Using the adaptive control method, the desired control performance could be obtained with the modeling errors and the time varying parameters. It is not uncommon to witness brand image transference which is a development of corporate image from a collection of individual brand images. The brand image transfer process is the influence of consumer attitudes toward certain brands on overall evaluation of the company. To understand the image transfer process, we examine the influence of brand level evaluation on overall company evaluation through food and beverage consumer products in China, where active competitions among global brands exist.

An ad hoc network is a collection of mobile nodes without any Infrastructure. However, ad hoc networks are vulnerable to attacks such as routing disruption and resource consumption; thus, routing protocol security is needed This paper proposes a secure and efficient routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks, where only one-way hash function are used to authenticate nodes in the ROUTE REQUEST, while additional public-key cryptography is used to guard against active attackers disguising a node in the ROUTE REPLY.

Traffic monitoring plays an important role in intelligent transportation systems. It can be used to collect real-time traffic data concerning traffic flow. Passive shadows resulted from roadside buildings or trees and active shadows caused by moving vehicles, are one of the factors that arise errors in vision based vehicle detection. In this paper, a land mark based method is proposed for vehicle detection and shadow rejection, and finally vehicle count are achieved based on the land mark detection method.
