  • We investigate the joint selection problem of the transmit power level and the best access point for multi-access points. We further reduce the transmit power by jointly optimizing the transmit power and the access point selection. Our aim is to minimize the total transmit power, while each terminal maintains minimum signal to interference ratio requirement. We observe that the optimum solution can be achieved through proposed iterative algorithm for both TA link and AT link. Simulation results show that proposed algorithm (joint optimization of transmit power level and access point) outperforms the algorithm which optimizes the transmit power only. We also observe that the duality between the TA link and AT link does not hold in multi-access points environment. Accordingly, the resulting power vectors and the access point vectors for TA link and AT link are different in general.

  • A voltage synthesizing channel selection circuit was designed to improve on the conventional vol tape synthesizer which has been memorized each charnel's tuning vol cage itself. In the course of this study, tuning voltage was calculated by channel number entered from 10 keys. Then this circuit has tie function of direct access channel selection and rear display of channel number for the whole range of UHF and VHF, Attention was also given to realize the fine tuning by searching each commended channel, and the sequential selection by using 2keys, and the flash of channel indicator in case of inactive station.

  • In this paper, we discuss frequency allocation and sharing for high speed radio access network in domestic 5㎓ the band. In order to evaluate the possibility of frequency sharing between meterological radar and high speed radio access network we analyses radio interference of meterological radar by means of minimum coupling loss method and Monte Carlo simulation And simulations show that it is necessary to use DFS(Dynamic Frequency Selection) scheme for frequency sharing between meterological radar and high speed radio access network.

  • In this paper, we consider a downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) using multiple transmit antennas, where the transmit antenna selection scheme is used to reduce the system complexity. Thus, in this paper, we propose radio resource allocation and receiver selection schemes in order to improve the outage probability performance of the downlink NOMA system using the transmit antenna selection scheme. In particular, the receiver selection scheme is a method of grouping the receivers to improve the outage probability performance, and the radio resource allocation scheme is a method of allocating radio resources to each group in order to enhance the outage probability performance. In addition, through the computer simulation under the assumption of independent Rayleigh fading channels, we show that the proposed radio resource allocation and receiver selection schemes can improve the outage probability performance at the expense of the sum rate performance.

  • In this paper, we study a spectrum sharing network (SSN) where a spectrum sharing device (SSD) coexists with multiple wireless communication systems (WCSs) in the same channel. The SSD can operate with either a duty cycle (DC) channel access mechanism or a listen-before-talk (LBT) channel access mechanism, whereas WCSs operate with an LBT mechanism. An opportunistic channel selection scheme for the SSD in the SSN is first proposed to minimize the outage probability. The optimal data transmission time for the DC-based SSD is derived to further improve the outage probability. We also derive the exact and closed-form outage probability of the proposed channel selection in the SSN by assuming that the number of WCSs operating in each channel is uniformly distributed. The simulation results show that the proposed channel selection scheme outperforms other channel selection schemes. It was also observed that a DC-based SSD with an optimal data transmission time provides a better outage performance than an LBT-based SSD. As the number of available channels increases, the channel selection scheme plays an important role in minimizing the outage probability of the SSNs.

  • In this paper, we propose a data-driven-based beam selection scheme for massive multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) systems in ultra-dense networks (UDN), which is capable of addressing the problem of high computational cost of conventional coordinated beamforming approaches. We consider highly dense small-cell scenarios with more small cells than mobile stations, in the millimetre-wave band. The analog beam selection for hybrid beamforming is a key issue in realizing millimetre-wave UDN MIMO systems. To reduce the computation complexity for the analog beam selection, in this paper, two deep neural network models are used. The channel samples, channel gains, and radio frequency beamforming vectors between the access points and mobile stations are collected at the central/cloud unit that is connected to all the small-cell access points, and are used to train the networks. The proposed machine-learning-based scheme provides an approach for the effective implementation of massive MIMO system in UDN environment.

  • This study purposes to identify how the 'selection' of library materials shold be changed in the electronic environment to improve library services fundamentally. The study scrutinized the essence of selection, the relationship between selection and collection management, and the results of various studies to define the selection. The study implies: 1) the selection must be changed to the function providing users with assessment information of library materials, which helps the users access to entire scholarly information. 2) the assessment information could be input from different libraries and used by all users connected to the library network.

  • Network convergence is considered as one of the key solutions to the problem of achieving future high-capacity and reliable communications. This approach overcomes the limitations of separate wireless technologies. Efficient interface selection is one of the most important issues in convergence networks. This paper solves the problem faced by users of selecting the most appropriate interface in the heterogeneous radio-access network (RAN) environment. Our proposed scheme combines a hierarchical evaluation of networks and game theory to solve the network-selection problem. Instead, of considering a fixed weight system while ranking the networks, the proposed scheme considers the service requirements, as well as static and dynamic network attributes. The best network is selected for a particular service request. To establish a hierarchy among the network-evaluation criteria for service requests, an analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is used. To determine the optimum network selection, the network hierarchy is combined with game theory. AHP attains the network hierarchy. The weights of different access networks for a service are calculated. It is performed by combining AHP scores considering user's experienced static network attributes and dynamic radio parameters. This paper provides a strategic game. In this game, the network scores of service requests for various RANs and the user's willingness to pay for these services are used to model a network-versus-user game. The Nash equilibria signify those access networks that are chosen by individual user and result maximum payoff. The examples for the interface selection illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
