영구자석 동기전동기의 벡터 제어를 위한 퍼지 각가속도 관측기 기반의 퍼지 속도제어기 (Fuzzy Speed Regulator based on a Fuzzy Acceleration Observer for Vector Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors)

  • This paper presents a new fuzzy speed controller based on a fuzzy angular acceleration observer to realize a robust speed control of permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSM). The proposed speed controller needs the information of the angular acceleration, thus the first-order fuzzy acceleration observer is designed. The LMI existence condition is given for the proposed fuzzy speed controller, and the gain matrices of the controller are calculated. It is verified that the augmented control system consisting of the fuzzy speed controller and the fuzzy acceleration observer is mathematically stable. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed acceleration observer-based fuzzy speed controller, the simulation and experimental results are shown under motor parameter variations. It is definitely proven that the proposed control scheme can precisely track the speed of a permanent magnet synchronous motor.

  • A robust position control scheme for DC Motor is proposed based on Fuzzy Acceleration Control. Proposed control system has the similar structure that Y. Hori proposed. But the PI type acceleration controller of it is replaced by Fuzzy Logic Controller(FLC) which is known to be robust to the operating point and parameter variations. By the simulation study for a real DC Motor, we have slowed the superiority to the continuous PI acceleration controller in the view point of robustness to the operating point and parameter variations.

  • This paper concerns on a non-rotating single-DOF beam-active magnetic bearing(AMB) system subject to arbitrary shaped base motion. In such a system, it is desirable to retain the beam within the predetermined air-gap under foundation excitation. Motivated form this, an adaptive acceleration feedforward control is proposed to reduce the base motion response without deteriorating other feedback control performances. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the acceleration feedforward control.

A semi-active acceleration-based control for seismically excited civil structures including control input impulses

  • Structural acceleration regulation is a means of managing structural response energy and enhancing the performance of civil structures undergoing large seismic events. A quadratic output regulator that minimizes a measure including the total structural acceleration energy is developed and tested on a realistic non-linear, semi-active structural control case study. Suites of large scaled earthquakes are used to statistically quantify the impact of this type of control in terms of changes in the statistical distribution of controlled structural response. This approach includes the impulses due to control inputs and is shown to be more effective than a typical displacement focused control approach, by providing equivalent or better performance in terms of displacement and hysteretic energy reductions, while also significantly reducing peak story accelerations and the associated damage and occupant injury. For earthquake engineers faced with the dilemma of balancing displacement and acceleration demands this control approach can significantly reduce that concern, reducing structural damage and improving occupant safety.

도심환경에서의 전기자동차 친환경 자율주행 속도제어 전략 (Eco-Speed Control Strategy for Automated Electric Vehicles on Urban Road)

  • This paper proposes autonomous speed control strategy for an Electric Vehicle on urban road. SNU campus road is used to reperesent urban road situation. Motor efficiency of driving on campus circulation road can be improved by controlling velocity properly. Given information of campus road, especially slope of road, acceleration is selected from candidate, considering consumed power, human factor and driving time. To apply urban situation, preceding vehicle is also considered. With preceding vehicle, acceleration is defined according to clearance and relative velocity. Acceleration is bounded in normal range. Proposed acceleration control method is activated with proper velocity range for campus circulation road. With acceleration control, motor efficiency becomes better than driving with constant vehicle. To evaluate the performance of proposed acceleration controller, simulation study is conducted via MATLAB.

  • This paper proposes a new fuzzy speed controller for the precise speed control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM). The proposed control system needs the information of the angular acceleration instead of the load torque, so the third-order fuzzy acceleration observer estimates it. Moreover, the LMI conditions are derived for the existence of the fuzzy acceleration observer and fuzzy speed controller, and the gain matrices of the observer and controller are obtained. It is analytically proven that the proposed observer-based fuzzy speed regulator is exponentially stable. To evaluate the performance of the proposed control algorithm, experimental results as well as simulation results are provided under the conditions of motor parameter and load torque variations. Finally, it is clearly confirmed that the proposed control method can accurately control the speed of a PMSM.

Integrated control of an air-breathing hypersonic vehicle considering the safety of propulsion system

  • This paper investigates the integrated control of an air-breathing hypersonic vehicle considering the safety of propulsion system under acceleration. First, the vehicle/engine coupling model that contains a control-oriented vehicle model and a quasi-one-dimensional dual-mode scramjet model is established. Next, the coupling process of the integrated control system is introduced in detail. Based on the coupling model, the integrated control framework is studied and an integrated control system including acceleration command generator, vehicle attitude control loop and engine multivariable control loop is discussed. Then, the effectiveness and superiority of the integrated control system are verified through the comparison of normal case and limiting case of an air-breathing hypersonic scramjet coupling model. Finally, the main results show that under normal acceleration case and limiting acceleration case, the integrated control system can track the altitude and speed of the vehicle extremely well and adjust the angle deflection of elevator to offset the thrust moment to maintain the attitude stability of the vehicle, while assigning the two-stage fuel equivalent ratio to meet the thrust performance and safety margin of the engine. Meanwhile, the high-acceleration requirement of the air-breathing hypersonic vehicle makes the propulsion system operating closer to the extreme dangerous conditions. The above contents demonstrate that considering the propulsion system safety will make integrated control system more real and meaningful.

가속도제어에 의한 4축 시스템의 정밀 위치동기제어 (Precise Position Synchronous Control of Four-Axes System Based on Acceleration Control)

  • In this paper, we deal with a precise position synchronous control of four-axes system which is working under various load disturbances. Each axis driving system is consisted of a speed controller and an acceleration controller as an inner loop instead of conventional current control scheme. The acceleration control plays an important roll to suppress load disturbances quickly. Also, each axis is coupled by a maximum position synchronous error comparison to minimize position synchronous errors according to integration of speed differency. As a result, the proposed system enables precise synchronous control with good robustness against load disturbances during transient as well as steady state. The stability and robustness of the proposed system are investigated through its frequency characteristic and numerical simulations. Finally, experimental results under load disturbances demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control system fur four-axes position synchronous control.

  • In this paper we propose an angular rate and acceleration matching method for initial transfer alignment in aircraft. The conventional angular rate and acceleration matching method performs compensation for the lever arm effects between the master and slave INS before initial alignment. However, the conventional method does not take the flexure angular acceleration into account and thus is not effective when the flexure angular acceleration is large. We propose a new angular rate and acceleration matching method to cope with the flexure acceleration between the master and slave INS and compare the results with those of the conventional method by simulation. The simulation results show that the proposed matching method is better than the conventional matching method in case of large flexure acceleration.

  • The re-enty guidance design involves trajectory optimization, generation of a reference drag acceleration profile with the satisfaction of trajectory constraints. This reference drag acceleration profile can be considered as the reference trajectory. This paper proposes the atmospheric re-entry system which is composed of longitudinal, later and range control. This paper shows the a performance of a re-entry guidance and control system using feedback linearization control and predictive control.
