지보공법에 따른 토사터널의 거동에 관한 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis on the Behavior of the Earth Tunnel due to Supporting Methods)

  • Numerical analysis were performed to investigate the stability and internal movement of tunnel located beneath the base of abutment of bridge according to the method of supporting tunnel. Two supporting methods of the multi-staged grouting method with steel pipes and the large diameter of pipe supporting method were used in the centrifuge model tests. The slip form of model lining, specially built to simulate the process of tunnel excavating under the condition of accelerated g-level, was used in the centrifuge model tests. Four centrifuge model tests were performed, changing the supporting methods of the multi-staged grouting method with steel pipes and the large diameter of pipe supporting method and the location of model abutment base of bridge. For internal displacement of tunnel, movements of the crown. The left and the right sides of spring line were measured during the proceeds of excavating tunnel in centrifuge model tests. Test results were compared with numerically estimated values of internal displacement of tunnel by using the commercially available FEM software of PENTAGON-3D. It was found that they were in good agreements and the large diameter of pipe supporting method was more stable than the multi-staged grouting method with steel pipes with respect to the internal movement of tunnel.

운전 경력에 따른 차량 내 디스플레이 정보표시 요구사항 비교 (Comparative Analysis of Requirements for Information Presentation on In-vehicle Display Systems by Driving Career)

  • The accelerated convergence of automobiles and ICT has led to an increase in in-vehicle electronic devices designed to enhance the safety and convenience of drivers. Consequently, the information presentation on in-vehicle display systems for drivers and passengers need to be taken into account in order to guarantee driving stability while satisfying the needs of UX-based design users. This study compared and evaluated requirements for information items shown on in-vehicle displays regarding driving safety and convenience by groups according to driving career. A total of 38 information items related to safety and convenience that can be displayed while driving and pulling over were collected. Their level of necessity was tested and evaluated by 234 drivers. Using the results, we conducted a comparative analysis on the requirements for information presentation on in-vehicle display systems by groups according to driving career.

샤시코너모듈 개발을 위한 부품의 내구 성능 예측에 대한 연구 (A Study on Durability Performance Estimation for Development of Chassis Corner Module)

  • Chassis system has a large influence on ride quality, stability and NVH performance of a car. To improve the performance and reduce cost, the development of chassis modular assemblies is emphasized. To develop chassis corner modules, it is necessary to predict the performance of full vehicle motion such as ride, handling performance, NVH characteristics and durability of modules. In this paper, full vehicle test is performed to acquire the road load data of chassis corner module of passenger car. 3-axis simulator modeling are carried out to simulate reaction force analysis and fatigue analysis of new developed modules. Also, real simulator tests to validate performance of new developed modules are performed. We had developed the accelerated durability test procedure of KATECH PG and it is used to test chassis corner modules at laboratory and simulate durability performance. All these results have been provided to module and parts company and make an important role to develop chassis corner modules.

Flexural analysis of transverse joints of prefabricated T-girder bridge superstructure

  • Rapid construction of prefabricated bridges requires minimizing the field work of precast members and ensuring structural stability and constructability. In this study, we conducted experimental and analytical investigations of transverse joints of prefabricated T-girder bridge superstructures to verify the flexural performance and serviceability. In addition, we conducted parametric studies to identify the joint parameters. The results showed that both the segmented and continuous specimens satisfied the ultimate flexural strength criterion, and the segmented specimen exhibited unified behavior, with the flexural strength corresponding to that of the continuous specimen. The segmented specimens exhibited elastic behavior under service load conditions, and the maximum crack width satisfied the acceptance criteria. The reliability of the finite element model of the joint was verified, and parametric analysis of the convexity of the joint section and the compressive strength of the filler concrete showed that the minimum deflection and crack width occurred at a specific angle. As the strength of the filler concrete increased, the deflection and crack width decreased. However, we confirmed that the reduction in the crack width was hardly observed above a specific strength. Therefore, a design suitable for prefabricated bridges and accelerated construction can be achieved by improving the joint specifications based on the required criteria.

문화재 복원용 속(速)경화형 Epoxy계 수지의 가속열화시험 및 고장분석 연구 (Accelerated Degradation Test and Failure Analysis of Rapid Curing Epoxy Resin for Restoration of Cultural Heritage)

  • 본 연구에서는 문화재 복원용 속(速)경화형 Epoxy계 수지인 $Araldite^{(R)}$ rapid의 온도 스트레스에 의한 열화 특성을 분석하였다. 인장강도 및 접착강도는 $40{\sim}60^{\circ}C$에서 12,624시간까지 감소하여 내구성 및 접착특성의 미약한 열화가 발생하였다. 외부 응력 및 온도에 대한 안정성은 속(速)경화형에 비해 일반 경화형 Epoxy계 수지가 우수하여, 복원부의 강도 특성 및 응력 상태를 고려한 복원재료의 적절한 선택과 적용이 요구된다. $40{\sim}60^{\circ}C$에서 12,624시간까지 색차의 증가와 광택도의 감소 등 색상 및 광택 안정성은 취약하여, 향후 광학특성의 개선을 위한 안정성 향상 연구가 필요하다. 특히 접착제의 열적 특성(중량감소량, 열분해온도, 유리전이온도)은 기계적 물성 변화에 부분적으로 관여하였고, 피착재의 계면 특성 및 접착제의 기체투과특성(수분투과도)은 접착성능의 중요인자로 작용하였다. 따라서 도자기, 벽돌 및 석재와 같은 다공성 재질의 경우 항온항습에 의한 보존환경 관리가 중요하며, 옥외 전시유물의 경우 노출환경에 의한 물성 변화를 최소화할 수 있는 보존대책의 수립이 절실하다. 향후 이러한 결과는 문화재에 사용된 Epoxy계 수지의 열화속도 및 수명예측 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

Varistor Properties and Aging Behavior of V/Mn/Co/ La/Dy Co-doped Zinc Oxide Ceramics Modified with Various Additives

  • The effects of additives (Nb, Bi and Cr) on the microstructure, varistor properties, and aging behavior of V/Mn/Co/ La/Dy co-doped zinc oxide ceramics were systematically investigated. An analysis of the microstructure showed that all of the ceramics that were modified with various additives were composed of zinc oxide grain as the main phase, and secondary phases such as $Zn_3(VO_4)_2$, $ZnV_2O_4$, and $DyVO_4$. The $Bi_2O_3$-modified samples exhibited the lowest density, the $Nb_2O_5$-modified sample exhibited the largest average grain size, and the $Cr_2O_3$-modified samples exhibited the highest breakdown field. All additives improved the non-ohmic coefficient (${\alpha}$) by either a small or a large margin, and in particular an $Nb_2O_5$ additive noticeably increased the non-ohmic coefficient to be as large as 36. The $Bi_2O_3$-modified samples exhibited the highest stability with variation rates for the breakdown field and for the non-ohmic coefficient (${\alpha}$) of -1.2% and -26.3%, respectively, after application of a DC accelerated aging stress of 0.85 EB/$85^{\circ}C$/24 h.

모델 예측변수들을 이용한 집중호우 예측 가능성에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Predictability of Heavy Rainfall Using Prognostic Variables in Numerical Model)

  • In order to determine the prediction possibility of heavy rainfall, a variety of analyses was conducted by using three-dimensional data obtained from Korea Local Analysis and Prediction System (KLAPS) re-analysis data. Strong moisture convergence occurring around the time of the heavy rainfall is consistent with the results of previous studies on such continuous production. Heavy rainfall occurred in the cloud system with a thick convective clouds. The moisture convergence, temperature and potential temperature advection showed increase into the heavy rainfall occurrence area. The distribution of integrated liquid water content tended to decrease as rainfall increased and was characterized by accelerated convective instability along with increased buoyant energy. In addition, changes were noted in the various characteristics of instability indices such as K-index (KI), Showalter Stability Index (SSI), and lifted index (LI). The meteorological variables used in the analysis showed clear increases or decreases according to the changes in rainfall amount. These rapid changes as well as the meteorological variables changes are attributed to the surrounding and meteorological conditions. Thus, we verified that heavy rainfall can be predicted according to such increase, decrease, or changes. This study focused on quantitative values and change characteristics of diagnostic variables calculated by using numerical models rather than by focusing on synoptic analysis at the time of the heavy rainfall occurrence, thereby utilizing them as prognostic variables in the study of the predictability of heavy rainfall. These results can contribute to the identification of production and development mechanisms of heavy rainfall and can be used in applied research for prediction of such precipitation. In the analysis of various case studies of heavy rainfall in the future, our study result can be utilized to show the development of the prediction of severe weather.

강원도 정선지역 북실지구 깎기비탈면 붕괴 사례를 통한 도로 하부 비탈면 안정성 확보에 관한 고찰 (Enhancing the Stability of Slopes Located below Roads, Based on the Case of Collapse at the Buk-sil Site, Jeongseon Area, Gangwon Province)

  • 산악지와 하천지에 위치하는 도로에는 도로 상부와 하부에 모두 비탈면이 조성된 경우가 많다. 북실지구는 도로 하부에 조성된 깎기비탈면으로서 2010년 10월 붕괴가 발생하였다. 정밀 현장조사 결과, 본 비탈면의 붕괴 원인은 도로 상부비탈면 계곡수의 배수 불량과 도로 표면수의 직접적 유입 등인 것으로 판단된다. 이는 층리 발달과 같은 지반 내적 요인과 복합적으로 작용하여 붕괴를 촉진시켰을 가능성이 높다. 평사투영해석 결과 평면파괴, 쐐기파괴, 전도파괴의 가능성이 인지되었다. 한계평형해석을 통한 안전율 산출 결과 우기시 평면파괴 및 쐐기파괴 안전율이 기준치에 미달되었다. 북실지구의 지형요소를 이용한 습윤지수 분석 결과, 9~10.5로 주변지역에 비하여 높은 값을 가지므로 유수의 영향이 집중되었던 것으로 판단된다. 북실지구 비탈면 안정성 확보에는 도로 상부에서 발생하는 유수 제어가 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 사료된다.

오메프라졸의 안정화를 위한 에칠렌디아민 복합체 개발 (Ethylenediamine Complex for Stabilization of Omeprazole)

  • To stabilize omeprazole(OMP), ethylenediamine(ED) complex of omeprazole(OMPED) was prepared by reaction between OMP and ED in methanol, and the complex formation was confirmed by the instrumental analysis, i.e., IR, DSC, EA, NMR, MS and XRD. The rates of decomposition of OMP and OMPED in aqueous solution and the shelf lives at standard temperature were measured by accelerated stability analysis. The results are summarized as follows; The mole ratio of OMP and ED in OMPED complex is 1:1, the energy of formation within OMPED might be combined between polar imidazole group of OMP with induced a dipole amine group in the readily polarizable ED molecule. At standard temperature the degradation rate constant of OMP in aqueous solution is $2.540{\times}10^{-2}\;hr^{-1}$ and the shelf life is 4.15 hrs, and in the case of OMPED the degradation rate constant is $7.986{\times}10^{-4}\;hr^{-1}$ and the shelf life is 131.96 hrs. So, the OMPED has about 31 times longer shelf life than OMP. The activation energy of OMP and OMPED are 5.23 and 18.55 kcal $mole^{-1}$ respectively. The stability of OMP is dependent chiefly on pH in the solutions and it decomposes readily in acidic medium by hydrogen ion catalized reaction but becomes stable beyond pH 9.0. In case of the ED-complex, OMPED is stable in neutral as well as in dilute acidic solutions even in pH 6, OMPED is very stable to light(UV), that is, the rate constant and shelf life of OMP are $k=1.0188{\times}10^{-2}\;day^{-1}$, $T_{90%}=4.5 \;days$, on the other hand, the those of OMPED are $k=7.138{\times}10^{-4}\;day^{-1}$, $T_{90%}=64.1\;days$, respectively. From the above results, it is thought that new dosage forms could be developed by using the OMPED as a potential OMP complex.

산부식법으로 제조한 동록안료의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Verdigris Manufactured by Acid Corrosion Method)

  • 동록(銅綠)은 고문헌에 기록되어 있는 전통적인 인공안료 중 하나이다. 고문헌에 기록되어 있는 제법에 따르면, 동록은 동(銅)을 초(醋)를 이용해 부식시키고 생성된 녹을 긁어모아 제조한다. 삼국시대 이후 청동, 황동 등의 동합금을 이용한 다양한 동기(銅器)가 사용되었으며, 채색문화재의 안료분석 연구를 통해 녹색안료에서 구리뿐만 아니라 주석, 아연, 납 등의 검출이 확인되었다. 이와 같은 자료를 바탕으로 구리 및 청동, 황동 등의 구리합금으로 5종의 동록안료를 제조하고 특성 규명을 위한 분석을 수행한 결과, 제조된 동록안료는 청록색을 나타내며, 제조에 사용된 동판의 종류에 따라 색상, 입자형태, 흡유량 등 물성에 차이를 보였다. 또한, 동록안료의 주요 구성원소는 Cu, Sn, Zn, Pb 등으로, 각 원소의 함유 비율은 사용된 동판의 합금 종류에 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있었다. 동록안료를 구성하는 주요 구성광물은 동판의 종류에 상관없이 호가나이트[hoganite, Cu(CH3COO)2·H2O]로 확인되었다. 촉진내후성 시험을 통해 안정성을 평가한 결과, 동록안료는 전체적으로 빠르게 색변화가 나타나 안정성이 낮은 것으로 보이며, 특히 납 성분을 함유한 경우에는 더 빠르게 색변화가 나타나 상대적으로 취약한 모습을 보였다.
