Cyber-university has a higher rate of dropout freshmen due to various educational factors, such as social background, economic factors, IT knowledge, and IT utilization ability than students in twenty offline-based university. These students require a different dropout prevention method and improvement method than offline-based universities. This study examined the main factors affecting dropout during the first semester of 2017 and 2018 A Cyber University. This included management and counseling factors by the 'Decision Tree Analysis Model'. The Management and counseling factors were presented as a decision-making method and weekly methods. As a result, a 'Dropout Improvement Model' was implemented and applied to cyber-university freshmen in the first semester of 2019. The dropout-rate in freshmen applying the 'Dropout Improvement Model' decreased by 4.2%, and the learning-persistence rate increased by 11.4%. This study applied a questionnaire survey, and the cyber-university students LMS (Learning Management System) learning results were analyzed objectively. On the other hand, the students' learning results were analyzed quantitatively, but qualitative analysis was not reflected. Nevertheless, further study is necessary. The 'Dropout Improvement Model' of this study will be applied to help improve the dropout rate and learning persistence rate of cyber-university.

This study was conducted to investigate the factors influencing perceived father communication, emotional expressiveness and gender identity on self-efficacy of female nursing college students. Data were collected from 270 female nursing students in B city, from May 23, 2016 to May 27 and then analyzed by ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 21.0. The degree of self-efficacy among female nursing students was $3.21{\pm}0.38$. There were significant differences in self-efficacy with respect to academic status(F=5.13, p=.006), relationship with father(F=4.74, p=.001), academic grade(F=5.22, p=.006), and gender satisfaction (F=4.00, p=.004). There were positive correlations between self-efficacy and open communication(r=.30, p<.001), self-efficacy and positive emotional expressiveness(r=.37, p<.001), and self-efficacy and gender identity(r=.26, p<.001), while there were negative correlations between self-efficacy and close communication(r=-22, p<.001), and self-efficacy and negative emotional expressiveness(r=-.26, p<.001). Regression analysis showed 18.2% variance in female nursing student's self-efficacy in response to positive emotional expressiveness, negative emotional expressiveness, and gender identity. Overall, the results of this study indicate that it is necessary to identify various factors affecting and increasing self-efficacy of female nursing college students.

This study analyzed the factors of stress perception and their patterns depending on the high school students from different types of high school, which include academic high schools and vocational high schools. The data reflected the degree of stress perception according to several factors, which are considered to be related to stress perception, and the study analyzed how differently these factors affected students in each school type. The subjects were 29,380 students from the 14th Korea Youth Health Behavior Survey who meet the purpose of this study. The factors related to stress perception were classified into general characteristics, health behavior characteristics, and health status characteristics. The factors of the study were compared in each group and between the groups. In both school types, stress perception was associated with a number of common factors and some group specific factors. The common main factors related to stress perception were depressive experience, subjective recognition of their health status, subjective recognition of sleep satisfaction, and gender. However, the pattern in which each factor was related to stress perception differed according to the school types. Therefore, efforts should be made to reflect the characteristics of each school type while considering the common factors related to stress perception when making policies for managing high school students' stress.

This study verified the effects of 'the education and training course for Aestheticians(Skin)' suggested by 'NCS', which is an outcome of the government's efforts to change from an 'educational background-centered society' to a 'capability-centered society' on the 'profession' and 'practice suitability' of actual aestheticians(skin) positively. As a result, three factors except for hygiene-related subjects and basic occupation capability had significant effects on the practical capability, and 4 factors except for the 'basic occupation ability' had significant effects on the 'profession' of skin beauticians. This suggests that people understand as a concept related to professionalism, even though hygiene-related subjects are associated with the customer's health, so it is very important. This means that awareness should be exchanged from practical capability, not professionalism, for hygiene-related subjects. In addition, the basic occupation capability is difficult to acquire for a short time and is organized by the capabilities, which are expected to have synergy effects when combined with professionalism knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare concrete measures to cultivate the basic occupation capability. When the government currently presents the 'NQF' establishment, it will be necessary to check the 'NCS' based on it. On the other hand, there has been no action of the academic world and government. In addition, the subjects related to common occupation capability, skin-related subjects and nail-related subjects are judged to cultivate manpower focusing on the capability, but hygiene-related subjects and basic occupation subjects are judged to seek a new direction to apply as a curriculum for cultivating manpower focusing on capability.

In this study, a survey was carried out on 200 23-year old unmarried men and women attending j university in j city from October 4 to October 7, 2011 to figure out pre-parents' perception of parental role and view of children, and put forward the necessity of pre-parent education by providing opportunities for pre-parent education. The results are summarized as follows. First, the perception of general parenting and parental role showed that 'parenting' is the highest, following by 'parental role'. For women, nuclear families and large families, who feel much necessity of pre-parent education in the academic liberal arts, the perception of general parenting, parental role and parenting by sub-factors was positive. Second, the perception of general view of children showed that 'children plan' is the highest, followed by 'pregnancy and birth.' For those surveyed, who have a plan for marriage and children plan or feel much necessity of pre-parent education in the academic liberal arts, the perception of general view of children, children plan by sub-factors, and pregnancy and birth was relatively positive. As for findings stated above, for pre-parents in their 20s~30s, women' perception of parental role and view of children was more positive than men'. And nuclear families' or large families' perception was more positive than single parent families'. These findings confirm there is a difference between parental role and view of children according to growth environments of pre-parents in social realities that the low birth rate is growing.
This study utilized big data, one of the new technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution as a policy direction study related to the military security of the Army. By utilizing Text mining and analyzing military security trends in domestic and foreign papers, it will be able to set policy directions and reduce trial and error. In this study, we found differences in domestic and international studies on military sucurity. At first, Domestic research has shown that in the course of the fourth industrial revolution, there is a strong interest in technological security, such as IT technology in security and cyber security in North Korea. On the other hand, Foreign research confirmed that policies are being studied in such a way that military sucurity is needed at the level of cooperation between countries and that it can contribute to world peace. Various academic policy studies have been underway in terms of determining world peace and security levels, not just security levels. It contrasted in our immediate confrontation with North Korea for decades but suggest complementary measures that cannot be overlooked from a grand perspective. Conclusionally, the direction of academic research in domestic and foreign should be done in macro perspective under national network cooperation, not just technology sucurity research, recognizing that military security is a policy product that should be studied in a security system between countries.

This study was conducted to investigate the factors influencing adjustment to college life by nursing college students. Data were collected from 408 nursing students in B city from May 8, 2017 to May 12 and analyzed by ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 21.0. The degree of adjustment to college life by nursing students was $3.24{\pm}.49$. There were significant differences in adjustment to college life with respect to grade(t=2.687, p<0.001), age(F=3.187, p=0.042), academic grade(F=18.551, p<0.001), satisfaction with major(F=61.347, p<0.001), and relationship with colleagues (F=28.273, p<0.001). There were positive correlations between adjustment to college life and emotional intelligence(r=0.421, p<0.001), humor sense(r=0.360, p<0.001), and ego resilience(r=0.418, p<0.001). Regression analysis showed 41.7% of variance in nursing student's adjustment to college life was caused by grade, academic scores, satisfaction with major, relationship with colleagues, emotional intelligence, and ego resilience. These results indicated that it is necessary to determine the various factors affecting adjustment to college life and increase adjustment to college life among nursing students.

The purpose of this study is related to the performing arts with a focus on early childhood play and drama activities carried out studies to analyze the phenomenon of a certain period of time. We use bibliometric analysis as a research method and analyze researches(65 theses, 15 academic journals total 80)which is published by Feb, 2015 as subjects. The research results are as follows. First, the analysis result by published year says that theses is most done in 2009, academic journals is done about 3 times in 2008, 2013. Second, quantitative study is more done than qualitative study in study trend, especially experimental study of quantitative study. Third, about study objective and effect verification, study about active-centered integrated curriculum and creativity is usually done as study objective. And effect verification is effective generally according to study problems. Fourth, difference verification according to quantitative analysis method is most done as data analysis method. Fifth, researches whose subjects are 5-year-old children is mostly done. So this study enabled the study of theater and the performing arts around the infant drama activities and seeks to provide a basis for more effective leverage over them.

This study was designed to examine whether the self-directed learning method could improve self-directed learning readiness and the effects of academic achievement level. Self-directed learning readiness was investigated among 63 first-year Medical Terminology undergraduates in the C area. A repeat measurement variance analysis of the general linear model was conducted to evaluate the effects of improving self-directed learning readiness according to the general characteristics and level of academic achievement, while a regression analysis was performed to identify the factors affecting self-directed learning readiness. Self-directed learning readiness increased from 177.3 to 180.8 for those under 18 years of age, and 192.9 to 196.5 for those over 19 years of age (p<0.05). After the team activity, the overall self-directed learning readiness was improved, and both high- and low-achieving groups showed statistically significant improvements (p<0.05). The environment surrounding learners was confirmed to have a positive effect on improving self-directed learning when given the right degree of self-directed learning and appropriate feedback. The study results are expected to form basic foundation material for professors and class designers who want to draw self-directed learning skills from memorizing subjects.

The Brain Korea 21 (i.e., BK21) is a state-led higher education funding project that started in 2013. Previous literature investigating the effectiveness of the project mainly focused on massive quantitative outcomes of funded teams, and many studies reporting only self-reported data of graduate students who participated in the project. Therefore, there were not many BK21 studies that thoroughly examined the graduate students' performance, ability, satisfaction, etc. This study aims to determine the effect of the BK21 project participation on graduate students' academic performance, using objective (the number of published papers), self-rating (graduates' satisfaction), and other-rating (advisor's performance evaluation) data, which were sampled from 2013 to 2019 from a single funded team on a one-departmental-unit. The results showed that the participating graduate students had more published papers, and had higher performance evaluation scores in research, and overall abilities, than the non-participating graduate students. Further, participating students were largely satisfied with BK21 supports. This study has significance in that it demonstrates the positive influence of the BK21 project on graduate students' academic performance and satisfaction by the thorough investigation of a single social science funded team.
