무우의 염절임시 소금의 침투량과 확산도 예측모델 (Prediction Model of Absorbed Quantity and Diffusivity of Salf in Radish during Salting)

  • 무우의 염절임시 무우내로의 소금의 침투량을 예측할 수 있는 모델을 수립하고자 각각 5%, 10%, 15% 소금용액의 농도, 10, 20, $30^{\circ}C$ 온도에서 시간당 무우내 소금의 침투량과 수분의 변화를 측정하였다. 시간에 따른 무우내 소금의 침투량은 ln 함수를 따랐고 소금용액의 농도와 온도에 따른 무우내 소금의 침투량은 linear 한 관계를 나타내었다. 각각의 시간, 소금용액의 농도, 온도에 따른 무우내 소금의 침투량 예측 모델은 SPSS 통계 package중의 regression program을 이용하여 model식을 수립하였다. 무우내로의 소금의 확산도는 Fick 제2법칙의 적절한 확산식에서 computer simulation을 통해서 확산도를 계산하였다. 무우내로의 소금의 확산도는 소금용액의 농도가 즈가함에 따라 커지고 예측할 수 있는 model식은 회귀분석을 통해 수립하였다. 무우내로의 소금의 침투량과 무우밖으로의 탈수량과의 관계를 규명하기 위해 Flux ratio(${\Delta}W/{\Delta}S$)을 구해 본 결과 1보다 조금 큰 값을 나타내어 탈수량이 소금의 침투량보다 다소 많음을 알 수 있었다.

  • The electrorheological (ER) behavior of suspensions in silicone oil of silica gel powder (average particle size 49 $\mu$m) absorbed water was investigated at room temperature with electric fields up to 2.4 KV/mm. In this paper, for development of succcessful ER fluids used for wide temperature range later, we would like to know a fundamental understanding of water on ER effect. As a first step, the ER fluids involving water activated silica gel were measured not only the electrical characteristics such as dielectric constant, current density and electrical conductivity but also the rheological properties on the strength of electric field, the quantity of dispersed phase and absorbed water. From the experimental results that water absorbed to the particles directly affects to the surface charge density of electric double layer model proposed by Schwarz and makes dielectric constant and current density of ER fluids increase. The current density and dynamic yield stress $($\tau$_y)$ of water activated silica gel suspensions was in exponential proportion to the strength of electric field, the quantity of dispersed phase and absorbed water. And the optimum water quantity and weight concentration of silica gel for electrorheological effect were 4-5 wt% and 15 wt%, respectively.

Hydrogen Storage Properties of Hydriding-Dehydriding Cycled Magnesium-Nickel-Iron Oxide Alloy

  • By measuring the absorbed hydrogen quantity as a function of the number of cycles, the cycling properties of the Mg-15 wt%Ni-5 wt%$Fe_2O_3$ alloy were investigated. The absorbed hydrogen quantity decreased as the number of cycles increased. The $H_a$ value varied almost linearly with the number of cycles. The maintainability of absorbed hydrogen quantity at n=100 was 89.0% for the hydriding reaction time of 10 min. After the $150^{th}$ hydriding-dehydriding cycle, Mg, $Mg_2Ni$, $Mg(OH)_2$, MgO, and Fe were observed. The phases were analyzed by Rietveld analysis from the XRD patterns of the Mg-15 wt%Ni-5 wt%$Fe_2O_3$ alloy after 150 hydriding-dehydriding cycles. The crystallite size and strain of Mg were then estimated with the Williamson-Hall technique.

Hydrogen Absorption by Mg-Ni-Fe2O3 and Mg-Ni-Ti during Mechanical Grinding under Hydrogen

  • Samples with compositions of 80 wt% Mg-14 wt% Ni-6 wt% $Fe_2O_3$ and 80 wt% Mg-14 wt% Ni-6 wt% Ti were prepared by mechanical grinding under hydrogen (reactive mechanical grinding). Their hydrogen absorptions during reactive mechanical grinding were examined. TGA and BET analysis were employed to investigate the hydrogen storage properties of the prepared alloys. TGA analysis of the $Mg-14Ni-6Fe_2O_3$ showed an absorbed hydrogen quantity of 6.91 wt% while that of Mg-14Ni-6Ti was 2.59 wt%. BET analysis showed that the specific surface areas of $Mg-14Ni-6Fe_2O_3$ and Mg-14Ni-6Ti after reactive mechanical grinding were $264m^2/g$ and $64m^2/g$, respectively. The larger absorbed hydrogen quantity and the larger specific surface area of $Mg-14Ni-6Fe_2O_3$ after RMG than those of Mg-14Ni-6Ti after RMG showed that the effects of $Fe_2O_3$ addition are much stronger than those of Ti addition during reactive mechanical grinding.

한국성인 남성을 대상으로 한 방사성옥소의 갑상선 섭취율에 따른 각 장기별 흡수선량 평가 (Assessment of Absorbed Dose of by Organ according to Thyroidal Uptake of Radioactive Iodine for Adult Korean Males)

  • 한국인의 생리적 특성에 맞는 방사성핵종의 체내 흡수선량 평가를 위한 일환으로 한국 성인 남성 28명을 대상으로 $^{131}|$을 경구투여 후 갑상선섭취율 및 소변 일일배설률을 산정하고 각 장기별 흘수선량을 평가하였다 그 결과, 첫째, 투여 24시간 후 갑상선이 평균 19.70%의 섭취율과 71.12%의 소변 일일배설률을 나타냈다. 둘째 본 연구에서 산출한 갑상선섭취율과 기존 ICRP에서 제시하는 갑상선섭취율 30%에 따른 전신유효선량은 각각 1.464E-08 Sv, 2.189E-08 Sv로 약 1.5배의 차이를 나타났다. 정량적인 방사성 옥소의 흡수선량 평가를 위해서는 기존 ICRP에서 제시하는 자료에 의존하기 보다는 인종별 새로운 측정을 통해 각 핵종별 자료의 확보만이 체내피폭평가시 오류를 최소화 할 수 있다.

Hydrogen Storage Properties of Pure MgH2

  • The hydrogen storage properties of pure $MgH_2$ were studied and compared with those of pure Mg. At the first cycle, pure $MgH_2$ absorbed hydrogen very slowly at 573 K under 12 bar $H_2$. The activation of pure $MgH_2$ was completed after three hydriding-dehydriding cycles. At the $4^{th}$ cycle, the pure $MgH_2$ absorbed 1.55 wt% H for 5 min, 2.04 wt% H for 10 min, and 3.59 wt% H for 60 min, showing that the activated $MgH_2$ had a much higher initial hydriding rate and much larger $H_a$ (60 min), quantity of hydrogen absorbed for 60 min, than did activated pure Mg. The activated pure Mg, whose activation was completed after four hydriding-dehydriding cycles, absorbed 0.80 wt% H for 5 min, 1.25 wt% H for 10 min, and 2.34 wt% H for 60 min. The particle sizes of the $MgH_2$ were much smaller than those of the pure Mg before and after hydriding-dehydriding cycling. The pure Mg had larger hydrogen quantities absorbed at 573K under 12 bar $H_2$ for 60 min, $H_a$ (60 min), than did the pure $MgH_2$ from the number of cycles n = 1 to n = 3; however, the pure $MgH_2$ had larger $H_a$ (60 min) than did the pure Mg from n = 4 to n = 6.

Al-Mg합금의 컬러에 미치는 양극산화 및 착색처리의 영향 (Effect of Anodizing and Dyeing Treatments on Coloring of Al-Mg)

  • In this study, we investigated the effects of anodizing time, dyeing treatment time, and variations in coloring concentration on the color of an AA5052 alloy processed by dye-treated anodizing. The outward color of the anodized film changed to deep red according to increases in anodizing time, dyeing treatment time, and coloring concentration; accordingly, lightness $L^*$ decreased and saturation $a^*$ and $b^*$ increased. The concentration of the dye and the UV-visible absorbance showed a nearly perfect linear relationship, allowing a quantitative analysis of the absorbed dye. Because the quantity of absorbed dye increased as anodizing time, dyeing treatment time, and coloring concentration increased, the outward color of the anodized film deepened. In addition, from the GD-OES depth profile, we found that the dye was preferentially absorbed on the surface of the porous anodized film.

  • 본 연구의 일차적 목적은 방사선 방호를 위하여 임의지점(任意地點)의 주변 방사선량의 수준을 특성(特性)짓는 방법의 하나로 ICRU가 정의(定義)한 흡수선량지수를 실측(實測)하는데 있는 바 이를 위한 실험은 에비실험과 본 실험의 두 단계로 나누어 수행하였다. 예비단계의 실험에서는 30cm 지름의 polyethylene구(球)를 사용한 반면 본 실험에서는 인체조직등가물질(人體組織等價物質)의 구(球)를 제작하였으며 두 실험 모두 $^{137}Cs$$^{60}Co$ 감마선장(線場)과 TRIGA Mark-II 원자로의 열중성자(熱中性子) column의 중성자공장(中性子工場)에서 행하여졌다. 감마선 흡수선량측정에는 TCD-700 $(^{7}LiF)$ chip을, 중성자선량측정에는 Au 방사화박(放射化薄)과 함께 TLD chip도 사용하였는데 이 경우에는 감마선의 기여를 판별해 내기 위하여 TLD-600 $(^{6}LiF)$과 TLD-700을 동시에 사용하였다. 감마선 조사(照射)의 경우 구(球) phantom내(內) 흡수선량의 이론적 해석은 Burlin의 공동이론(空洞理論)에서 유도된 Erlich의 방법을 썼으며, 중성자 선량해석에는 fluence-KERMA 변환방법을 사용하였다. 이들 선량에 관하여서는 특히 자세히 설명하였다. 해석에 실험결과는 모두 통계적으로 처리 분석하였으며 특히 심부선량분포(深部線量分布)는 규격화(規格化)한 값을 사용하여 도표(圖表)로 나타내는 한편, 결론에서는 방사선방호용 지수량(指數量) 실측(實測)의 가능성과 난점(難點)을 설명하고 해결하여야 할 문제점들을 언급(言及)하였다.

Ni-SiC 복합도금층의 내마모성에 관한 연구 (A study on the wear resistance of Ni-SiC composite plating)

  • The Ni-SiC composite plating was performed in a Watt nickel solution and the wear resistance of the composite layer was studied on a pin-on-flat type wear tester. The volume losses and friction coefficients were measured. It was found that the quantity of SiC powder in the composite layers was affected by SiC concentration, pH, temperature, and agitation speed in the Watt nickel solution. The hardness and wear resistance of the coatings increased with SiC content. The quantity of SiC powder in the coating from a nickel sulfamate solution is larger than that of the Watt nickel solution, because the amount of nickel ions absorbed on the SiC powder in the nickel sulfamate solution is greater than that in the Watt's solution.

  • A cement which is used in construction and a concrete which is a hydration product of cement is considered anti-environmental materials because of lots of $CO_2$ emission in progress of producing and making them. But a concrete absorbs the $CO_2$ gas in atmosphere after hydration and in its lifetime. Based on Papadakis' theses, this research is carried on calculation of the $CO_2$ absorption quantity in concrete. Also, the emission of $CO_2$ was calculated by cement manufacture. As a result, It is said that the $CO_2$ which was emitted during cement manufacturing, was absorbed the 53% of emission quantity by the carbonation of concrete.
