난백의 가열처리에 있어서 난황과 자당 첨가가 pH 및 비중의 변화에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Addition of Egg Yolk and Sucrose on the pH and Specific Gravity for Heated Egg Albumen)

  • 본 시험은 난백 129g에 자당(백색) 150g을 첨가한 구와 난백 161g에 자당 150g을 첨가한 2구로 나누고, 다시 각 구를 난황 0g, 8.71g, 17.43g 및 26.14g, 14g 첨가구로 4구분 하였다. 각 구는 5$0^{\circ}C$ shaking water bath(Tecom 58-16, U.K)내에서 1분간 92회 왕복속도로써 2, 4, 6, 8, 10및 12시간 후까지 경시적으로 pH와 비중을 측정하였다. 측정회수는 3회로써 그 평균치를 시험성적으로 하였으며 비중은 비중계로써 측정하였던 바 얻은 본 시험의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 전 시험구간에 있어서 shaking시간에 따라 pH와 비중은 경시적으로 증가되었으나 난황 및 난백의 첨가량에 따라 그 변화는 상이한 결과를 보였다. 2. 난백 129g 첨가구와 161g 첨가구에 있어서 shaking시간이 경과함에 따라 일정한 수준의 자당과 난황을 혼합했을 때는 난백의 첨가량이 많을수록 pH는 더 높아지고 비중은 낮아지는 결과였다. 3. 난백 161g 첨가구에 있어서 shaking 10시간 후의 PH는 8.60으로써 최고치였으며, 그 후에는 낮아졌다. 난백 129g 첨가구에 있어서 shaking 12시간 후의 pH는 8.39로써 최고치였으며 shaking 10시간 후부터 점차 낮아지는 경향이었다. 두 구간의 pH 최고치가 나타나는 시간의 상이는 난백의 첨가량에 의한 것으로 사료된다. 4. 전체설험구간에 있어서 난황을 무첨가한 구가 첨가한 구보다 pH와 비중이 모두 높았다. 5. 자당 150g에 난백 129g, 난황 0g, 8.17g, 17.43g 및 26.14g을 각각 첨가하여 12시간동안 shaking water bath 내에서 조사한 pH와 비중의 성적간에는 상관관계를 검정한 결과, 상관도는 높았으며(r=0.9692$^{**}$ ) 그 회귀방정식은 Y=0.050十0.145X였다. 6. 자당 150g과 난백 161g, 난황 0g, 8.17g, 17.43g 및 25.14g을 각각 첨가하여 12시간동안 shaking water bath내에서 조사한 pH와 비중의 성적간에 상관관계를 검정한 결과, 상관도는 높았으며(r=8963$^{**}$ ) 그 회귀방정식은 Y=0.294+0.110X였다.

염수선 종자 정선법에 따른 조의 발아 및 출현율 (Effects of Specific Gravity on Germination and Emergence of Foxtail Millet (Setaria italica Beauvois))

  • 본 연구는 토양환경 조건에 따른 입모율 변화가 높은 조종자의 발아활력 증진과 안정적인 생산을 위하여 염수선(비중) 종자정선을 활용한 우량종자 선발을 통한 발아율, 출현율 및 유모의 소질을 알아보고자 수행하였다. 1. 비중이 높아질수록 3품종 모두 천립중이 증가하는 경향이 나타났으며, 비중 $1.040g\;L^{-1}$에서는 가장 무거운 천립중을 조사되었으며, 발아율에서도 비중선 $1.040g\;L^{-1}$에서 '황금' 88.3%, '삼다찰' 86.7%, '경관1호' 90.6%로 가장 높은 발아율을 보였다. 2. 모 소질을 조사한 결과 비중선이 높을수록 모의 초장, 엽장, 경직경, 근장, 근중 및 경중 등이 증가하였으며, 비중선 $1.040g\;L^{-1}$에서 3품종 모두에서 길거나 무거운 것으로 보였다. 3. 염수선에 의해서 포장 발아활력 검정에서는 출아율 및 출아율지수에서 비중선이 높은 종자일수록 높아졌으며, 비중선 $1.040g\;L^{-1}$에서 가장 높은 85.3, 83.0, 87.0% 출아율이 나타났고, 출아율지수에서도 비중선 $1.040g\;L^{-1}$에서 2.82, 2.86, $2.87d^{-1}\;m^{-1}$ 이상의 높을 지수가 보였다. 4. 조 종자는 발아활력이 높은 종자선별을 위해서는 비중선 $1.040g\;L^{-1}$에서의 종자를 선별하여 파종하면 생산성이 크게 향상될 것으로 사료된다.

오디 분말을 첨가한 파운드 케이크의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Pound Cake with Added Mulberry Fruit Powder)

  • Mulberry fruit powder was substituted for wheat flour in pound cake recipes in amounts of 0%(control), 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. We measured the specific gravity of the dough, specific loaf volume, dough yield, baking loss, moisture content, pH, color, identified the texture, and conducted a sensory evaluation for each pound cake. Moisture content increased according to the amount of mulberry fruit powder, but specific gravity, dough yield, and pH decreased. Specific loaf volume and baking loss increased as the amount of mulberry fruit powder increased, but not considerably. The chromatic 'L' and 'b' values were reduced as more mulberry fruit powder was added to more pound cake, While the chromatic 'a' value increased. Texture hardness, springiness, gumminess and chewiness decreased as the pound cake contained more mulberry fruit powder. Cohesiveness did not show any considerable differences beteeen the cakes. A sensory evaluation showed a high preference for the pound cake made with 10% mulberry fruit powder.

한반도 산림골재의 물성특성 (Physuical characteristics of crushed aggregates in Korea)

  • In the last decade, the supply of natural aggregates has been continuously increased due to the other types of aggregates. In general, aggregates constitute 70-80% of the total volume of concrete, so the quality of aggregates is main factor controlling physical characteristics of concrete. For this reason, physical properties of aggregate according to different rock types were studied. The majority of crushed aggregates is taken out of granite, gneiss, sandstone, andesite, basalt and so forth. The physical properties of these rock types were tested and most of them fell within the acceptable limit on the base of Korean standard regulation. The major lithology of the crushed aggregates is granite and gneiss, both of which are marked for more than 50% of total lithology thpes in Korea. A to the physical properties of granite, the high specific gravity coincides with low porosity, low absorption ratio, while the abrasion and soundness index show, in general, no specific trend. It has been assumed that slight differences of the physical properties of granite aggregates are related with those of the mineral composition, grain size, and so on. In comparison to granite, the physical properties of gneiss have little correlation one after another. This trend is related to different mineral composition, grain size and typical sheet fractures typically prevailing in the texture of gneiss. Spatial pattern of physical properties shows that high specific gravity of granite coincides only with low porosity and absorption ratio in all provinces except Cheolla province, and high specific gravity of gneiss coincides with low porosity and absorption ratio only in Cheolla and Gandwon provinces.

시호 채종주령(採種株齡) 및 종자비중에 따른 발아특성 (Effects of Plant Age and Seed Specific Gravity on Seed Germination of Bupleurum falcatum L.)

  • 채종주령에 따른 시호 종자의 발아특성을 조사하기 위하여 채종주를 삼도시호(三島柴胡) 1, 2, 3년생과 재래종 1, 2년생으로 하고 1995년에 채종한 종자로 발아와 종자 비중분포의 품종간 및 채종주령간 차이를 구명하고자 시험한 결과 다음과 같았다. 1. 채종주령별 발아율은 재래종은 1년생 42.3%, 2년생 44.0%로 대차 없는 경향이었다. 삼도시호(三島柴胡)의 경우 1년생 17.3%, 2, 3년생 40.3, 40.0%로 재래종에 비하여 다소 낮았으나 채종주령간 차이가 확연하였다. 2. 채종주령별 종자 비중은 삼도시호(三島柴胡)의 경우 2, 3년생이 높은 경향으로 1.00이상의 분포비율이 1년생 52%에 비하여 2, 3년생은 $83{\sim}84%$로 높았으나 재래종은 주령간에 큰 차이가 없었다. 3. 비중별 발아율은 대체로 비중이 클수록 높은 경향이었으나 품종 및 채종주령 에 따라 비중 $1.12{\sim}1.18$이상의 종자에서 다소 낮아지고 품종간에는 재래종에 비하여 비중이 더 큰 삼도시호 종자의 경우에도 발아율이 낮게 나타나 품종간 차이가 나타났다. 4. 채종주령별 채취종자의 비중에 따른 발아율은 재래종은 채종주령간에 큰 차이가 없었으나 삼도시호(三島柴胡)는 비중에 관계없이 1년생은 $5.0{\sim}17.5%$에 비하여 2, 3년생은 $22.5{\sim}55.0$로 높아 채종주령에 따른 발아의 차이는 종자 비중이외에 등숙기 동안 채종 주의 생육상태 혹은 기상환경 등의 차이에 의한 다른 요인의 영향을 받는 것으로 판단되었다. 5. 따라서 종자로 사용할 때는 재래종은 채종주령에 관계없이 비중 1.03으로 비중선하고 삼도시호(三島柴胡)는 주령 2년 이상인 주에서 채종하여 비중 1.03이상으로 비중선하여야 적당할 것으로 나타났다.

열충격 시험에 의한 암석의 물성변화 (Physical Properties of Rocks according to Heating Treatment)

  • This study were performed thermal shock test for four kind of different rocks (Iksan granite, Namsan granite, Jeongseon marble, Yeongyang sandstone), and according to heating temperature($400^{\circ}C$, $600^{\circ}C$) on samples were investigated physical properties such as specify gravity, porosity, p-wave velocity. As a result, the tendency was appeared that porosity increased, and specific gravity and p-wave velocity decreased at a more higher temperature. But, the situation of change appeared characteristic according to temperature and rock types. In the case of Yeongyang sandstone, it appeared in especially porosity increasing at $400^{\circ}C$. The specific gravity was little change in the all the rock at $400^{\circ}C$ but the decreased at $600^{\circ}C$. Therefore the specific gravity in the temperature range is due to the relatively small impact on the change is expected. Porosity of the granite at $400^{\circ}C$ changes little. but marble in the rate of change is large. Conversely, the sandstone porosity decreased. At $600^{\circ}C$ increased porosity in all of rocks. particularly sandstone the smallest increase in porosity. Experiments showed that p-wave velocity measured through dry rocks was sensitive to quantify the thermal damage. The p-wave velocity of all rocks decreased with increasing temperature. In the relation between porosity and p-wave velocity, p-wave velocity decreased with increasing porosity. On the other hand, in case of Yeongyang sandstone p-wave velocity decreased with decreasing porosity. thus, development of microcracks more affects p-wave velocity than porosity. In this study, damage intensity was well explained with porosity and p-wave velocity values depending on temperature increase.

An investigation on the in si.tu measurement of the oil-concentration

  • In order to predict thermodynamic performance of refrigeration system, it is required to know the oil concentration of the refrigerant/oil mixture. The current method is to extract the working mixture and then to measure the oil weight. In this study, oil concentration is measured in si.tu way without any extraction of the working fluid. Based on the measurement, a working equation is presented as follows, C=a +b x t +c x $t^2$ +(d + e x t +f x $t^2$) x SG. C is oil concentration, t is temperature($^{\circ}C). SG Is specific gravity of mixture and a~f is coefficients The oil concentration ranges over 0~l2 wt% and the temperature ranges over 20~50$^{\circ}C. The specific gravity and temperature are measured using the on-line densimeter and thermometer. This working equation enables to predict the oil concentration without any extraction of the mixture. This equation can be applied for R-12/Naphthenic oil and R-134a/P0E oil liquid mixtures.

Numerical investigation of the gravity effect on the shape of natural supercavity

  • The objective of this paper is to investigate the gravity effect on the shape characters of natural supercavity. A finite difference solver along with an implicit, dual time, preconditioned, three-dimensional algorithm has been used to solve the two-phase Navier Stokes equations. Numerical solutions were performed for natural supercavitating flow past a disk for different cavitation and Froud numbers. The numerical results were compared with corresponding analytical results in quantitative manner and it was found that the shape of supercavity was reasonably predicted Numerical results indicated that the gravity effect can induce the asymmetry of supercavity. The asymmetry was apparent when the froud number was smaller so that for constant cavitation number when we reduced the froud number the opt of the axis of supercavity increased. Moreover, for specific froud number a decrease in cavitation number resulted in an increase in the offset of the supercavity Numerical results revealed that for froud number greater than 25 the gravity effect is negligible.

주기적(週期的) 조습처리(調濕處理)가 파티클보드와 콤플라이의 치수 안정성(安定性)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Cyclic Humidification on Dimensional Stability of Particleboard and Com-Ply)

  • This research was carried out to investigate the effects of cyclic humidification on the dimensional stability of particleboard manufactured according the three specific gravity levels and com-ply fabricated with a core of particleboard and veneer or plywood as the face and back materials. Both the particleboard and com-ply were subjected to four cycles of 50-90-50% relative humidity. The results are summarized as follows: Particleboard and com-ply followed a clear pattern of increasing dimensions and weight on the adsorption cycle and decreasing dimensions and weight on the humidification cycle. After the fourth cycle, the dimensions and weight of both particleboard and com-ply were greater than those originally measured. The greater part of increase in occurred during the first humidification cycle. The specific gravity of particleboard has a significant effect thickness and volume change. The dimensional stability of com-ply was better than that of particleboard. In addition, the dimensional stability of com-ply bonded with plywood was better than that of com-ply bonded with veneer.
