This study was designed to grasp the degree of job stress affecting dental technicians and the degree of the symptoms of their job stress. With this in mind, the researcher selected a total of 170 dental technicians living in Seoul and Incheon, conducting a research in a period ranging from August 1,2001, to August 20, 2001. The researcher made use of a structured questionnaire whose reliability and feasibility are proved. The questionnaire is composed of a total of 55 questions: thirteen questions related to the subjects' general characteristics; 28 questions connected to the measurement of job stress and fourteen questions linked with the measurement of job-stress symptoms. The researcher analyzed the findings with the aid of SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences). The research came to draw the following conclusions on the basis of frequency, percentage, T-test, and F-test, multiple regression. I. The analysis into the job stress of the subjects indicates that there is a significant difference in difficult questions among their work places, working hours, academic background, job satisfaction and jobs(P<.05). The job stress stands at 3.48 on the average, and the area of conflict among too much work and job performance turns out to be highly perceived. 2. The analysis into the degree of the symptoms of the job stress of the subjects shows that there is a significant difference in work place, working hours, job satisfaction and the continual maintenance of job(P<.05). The symptoms of job stress accounts for 2.65 on the average. Physical symptoms turn out to be highly perceived; The response 'My arms and legs are killing me' proves to stand for 3.03. 3. The correlation between job stress and the symptoms of job stress turns out to be significant(r=0.519, P<0.001), and there is a significant correlation between the average points of each job-stress area and the average points of the symptoms of job stress. All in all, it is necessary that dental technicians themselves should make positive efforts to control and relieve stress and that more efficient programs should be implemented with a view to dealing with stress.
Purpose: Healthcare is on the whole a personal and critical service that consumer's use, whereas hospitalization is as a rule painful, because nature nurtures and Sun Light Luminosity for healthcare settings is considered healing. The performance and design of climate responsive buildings such as AKU requires a detailed study of attributes of climate both at micro as well as macro level. The therapeutic value of contact with nature through window view, greenery and landscape is calculated there. Method: A two prong strategy is been devised for this article, at micro level three typical morphologies are analysed by creating same environment of neighboring building on sun shading chart, radiation and temperature range. Since the analysis of local climate helps to determine the design strategies for hospital Healing Environment which is suitable for Karachi climate; in order to track the macro climatic behaviour, a considerable analysis of psychometrics chart for AKU Karachi are designed on Climate Consultant (CC) and analysed by Machine Learning. Climate Consultant proposes different design strategies suitable for Karachi. And on the other hand time wise illumination sources for clinical area which are then measured on psychrometric chart- according to singular space: multi patient admission, secondly: acute ambulatory ward, and tertiary: multi windowed space according to the mushrabiyah and sky light pattern. Result: Our findings support the hypothesis that windowed wall is 75-80% more healing wall; an accelerated evidence was found for healing at macro level if the form of the hospital is designed according to the climatologically preferences, whereas at micro level: the light resource becomes the staff attentiveness determinant. In Conclusion evidence was provided that the actual form of luminosity results consequently in satisfaction while light entering from several set of windows and other sources might be valued if design according to the healing environment. The data added on the sun shading chart to calculate rays entraining into space in patient room equal to 124416.21 Watts/ meter $m^2$ is calculated as precise healing rate-and is confirmed by questionnaire from patients belonging from each clinical stage having different illnesses.
We present a spectroscopic study of the Galactic supernova remnant (SNR) Cygnus Loop using the fifth Data Release (DR5) of LAMOST. The LAMOST (Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope) features both a large field-of-view (about 20 deg2) and a large aperture (~4 m in diameter), which allow us to obtain 4000 spectra simultaneously. Its wavelength coverage ranges from ${\sim}3700{\AA}$ to $9000{\AA}$ with a spectral resolution of $R{\approx}1800$. The Cygnus Loop is a prototype of middle-aged SNRs, which has advantages of being bright, large in angular size (${\sim}3.8^{\circ}{\times}3^{\circ}$), and relatively unobscured by dust. Along the line of sight of the Cygnus Loop, 2747 LAMOST DR5 spectra are found in total, which are spatially distributed over the entire remnant. Among them, 778 spectra are selected based on the presence of emission lines (i.e., [O III]${\lambda}5007$, Ha, and [S II]${\lambda}{\lambda}$ 6717, 6731) for further visual inspection. About half of them (336 spectra) show clear spectral features to confirm their association with the remnant, 370 spectra show stellar features only, and 72 spectra are ambiguous and need further investigation. For those associated with the remnant, we identify emission lines and measure their intensities. Spectral properties considerably vary within the remnant, and we compare them with theoretical models to derive physical properties of the SNR such as electron density and temperature, and shock velocity. While some line ratios are in good agreement with model prediction, others cannot be explained by simple shock models with a range of shock velocities. We discuss these discrepancies between model predictions and the observations and finally highlight the powerfulness of the LAMOST data to investigate spatial variations of physical properties of the Cygnus Loop.

Terrain, building location and area, and building shape information is in need of implementing 3D map. This paper proposes a method of extracting a building area by an improved semi-automatic snake algorithm. The method consists of 3-stage: pre-processing, initializing control points, and applying an improved snake algorithm. In the first stage, after transforming a satellite image to a gray image and detecting the approximate edge of the gray image, the method combines the gray image and the edge. In the second stage, the user looks for the center point of a building and the system sets the circular or rectangular initial control points by an procedural method. In the third stage, the enhanced snake algorithm extracts the building area. In particular, this paper sets the one tenn of the snake in a new way in order to use the proposed method for specializing building area extraction. Finally, this paper evaluated the performance of the proposed method using sky view satellite image and it showed that the matching percentage to the exact building area is 75%.
Background and objective: With increasing land use intensity in urban areas, apartment buildings have been recognized as a typical type of urban residence. In this study, the impacts of different views through a window on health-related responses were investigated using psychological and physiological parameters. Methods: Photos of three different types of views taken on low (2-12 m), middle (28-35 m), and high (over 54 m) floors of dense apartment building areas were used as visual stimuli. Twenty-two healthy adults participated in the indoor experiment. Semantic differential methods and profile of mood states were used as psychological tools. Autonomic nervous activity was evaluated using blood pressures, pulse rate and heart rate variability (HRV). Results: Analytic data showed different characteristics of psychological and physiological outcomes in three different apartment views. In the analysis of psychological parameters, significantly negative responses to the views on middle floors were found in the subscales of tension-anxiety and anger-hostility, compared to low floors. Significantly positive scores in the subscale of vigor were found on low floors with abundance of vegetation and high floors with a view of the sky. A significantly increased value of HF was found on low floors (2,294.96 ± 169.79), compared to the middle(1,553.45 ± 84.66) and high (1,523.02 ± 70.49) floors. Despite the high scores in openness and vigor, high floor views showed significantly higher LF/HF values (1.83 ± 0.09), the indicator of the sympathetic nervous system, than low (1.30 ± 0.07) and middle floor views (1.34 ± 0.06), which might be related to the unconscious fear of heights. Conclusion: Views from different heights in an apartment building can affect the psychological states of residents. Green space through the window may have a positive health outcome by reducing physiological stress.
"Uihakdokseogi(醫學讀書記)" is a casual work which mentions Ujaekyeong(尤在涇)'s thoughts on various problems found through extensive studying or in practice. The book does not focus on a single topic, thus the spectrum of the work is broad and is filled with problems which would interest most medical professionals. The major contents of the first volume of "Uihakdokseogi(醫學讀書記)" include differences of view on health preservation, the Five Circuit Phases[五運] and Six Atmospheric Influences[六氣], diseases, and the "Naegyeong(內經)", mentions on errors in transcription , and the gap between certain contents in "Yeongchu(靈樞)" and "Somun(素問)". U[尤在涇] asserts that Eum and Yang(陰陽) in a human should be in harmony as is the Gi(氣) of the sky and earth[天地] is, and that one should live according to the Gi(氣) of the four seasons to live a healthy life. He does not vary largely from the context of other writers on the matter of the Five Circuit Phases [五運] and Six Atmospheric Influences[六氣], and focuses on the concepts of predominant Gi[主氣], guest Gi[客氣], corresponding years[天符] , correlating years[歲會], and Taeeul corresponding years[太乙天符]. He mentions causes, symptoms, and treatments of various diseases such as cough due to asthenia of the viscera, stagnation of Yang(陽), stagnation of Eum(陰), abscess of the stomach, hard abscess of the intestines, upper emaciation, edema of the limbs, inability to raise the limbs, broken thigh, turbid fluid, inversion of Gi(氣) flow, sudden onset of fainting with cold extremities, diarrhea due to disorder of Gi(氣), and malaria. U[尤在涇] also points out faults of "Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion[甲乙經]" in the understanding of "Naegyeong(內經)".
Alvar Aalto has pursued National Romanticism, cultural art movement in scandinavian peninsula, organic concepts of growth and suitability, comprehensive view of nature including a possibility of coexistance of human-being and the nature well harmonized. For instance, his design expressed local features of the nature, human emotions instead of geometical arts and mathematical principles. It is noteworthy today that he built up the identity with satrical architecture vocabularies, different from modern arch-itechtural idiology. The characte-ristics of his design related to interior architecture are collectively as follows; The first, Space discontinuity of the interior and exterior, gradual process by joints which are inclined to collage with many shapes in plan and section of the space and such joints are adjusted by sensual ways and stressed with inner collectivity in his works. The second, He pursued the architectural orderfor modern irreqularity, various changes and sensual harmonies. As result, free curved line, fan shape and irregular modeling were individually expressed by technics of natural features and national characteristics of Finland. The third, Organic synthesis. A harmony through med-ums in its space, materials and space effectiveness relations are made and expressed for mixed design especially harmonized of all the materials he planned, entire harmony with total design, itemized details, materials and furnitures in entire space. The fourth, The interest of the nature based on his sense harmonized with nature made him mainly use native materials, lumbers and red bricks masonry and showed and arranged various interior sky light and grazed in to let natural light in, harmony with garden to sensually cohere to the nature and courtyard, etcetera. His major subject are to direct architectural developments through the nature and human-being in his works. At this point, it is considered that his direction of the locality and independence as a human-being made the concepts of organic space structure possible.

These day morden cities have serious climatic problems due to enviornmental load caused by excessive development of urbanization. As technological improvement to answer to various ecological disasters and climate changes are also called on the field of construction, inter-disciplinary studies linked to the estabilishment of sustainable energy generation systems and enviornmental control is needed in a consilient point of view. This study aims to analyse optimal site conditions for photovoltaic system and green roof planting through solar radiation simulation in a integrated perspective. In so doing, it seeks to proffer basic study for developing a sound use of roof area that is sustainable in environmental and resources aspects. A computer simulation showed that, in the case of total seasonal solar radiation, summer season resulted 312.5kWh in 35% of total annual solar radiation. This season indicated the lowest radiation rate of the year for direct sunlight in 45.8% of total seasonal solar radiation. Due to such solar radiation simulation, at the largest optimal planting area, Glechoma hederacea var. longituba secured $719.16m^2$ of gross roof area.

We report results of the measurement of the trigonometric parallax of an $H_2O$ maser source in IRAS 22555+6213 with the VLBI Exploration of Radio Astrometry (VERA). The annual parallax was determined to be $0.278{\pm}0.019$ mas, corresponding to a distance of $3.66^{+0.30}_{-0.26}kpc$. Our results confirm that IRAS 22555+6213 is located in the Perseus arm. We computed the peculiar motion of IRAS 22555+6213 to be ($U_{src}$, $V_{src}$, $W_{src}$) = ($0{\pm}1$, $-32{\pm}1$, $9{\pm}1$) $km\;s^{-1}$, where $U_{src}$, $V_{src}$, and $W_{src}$ are directed toward the Galactic center, in the direction of Galactic rotation and toward the Galactic north pole, respectively. IRAS 22555+6213, NGC7538 and Cepheus A lie along the same line of sight, and are within $2^{\circ}$ on the sky. Their parallax distances, with which we derived their absolute position in the Milky Way, show that IRAS 22555+6213 and NGC7538 are associated with the Perseus arm, while Cepheus A is located in the Local arm. We compared the kinematic distances of IRAS 22555+6213 derived with flat and non-flat rotation curve with its parallax distance and found the kinematic distance derived from the non-flat rotation assumption ($-32km\;s^{-1}$ lag) to be consistent with the parallax distance.

The purpose of this study was to develop functional lab gowns in the view of safety and work efficiency. As the first step of this study, we surveyed on satisfaction rates, preferences and inconvenience items in regard of lab gowns. The data was obtained from 138 graduate students specialized in science and 113 medical students. Respondents answered that the first purpose of wearing lab gown was to protect body from danger. Wearing frequency followed with ‘always’, ‘as possible as’, and then ‘sometimes’. Forty-five percentage of respondents answered that they didn't wear lab gowns often in summer because of hot weather. The contaminated or damaged parts of lab gowns followed with cuffs, abdomen, thigh, lower part, and then chest. Washing frequency followed with ‘once a month’, ‘once per six months’, and then ‘more than once a week’ There were significant differences in normal wearing frequency, wearing frequency by season and washing frequency due to major. There were no significant difference by sex and major in all questions. In regard of the protective capacity of current lab gowns, most respondents answered that ‘It's normal’(60%), ‘It's enough’(21%), so that they didn't show much dissatisfaction. Forty-three percentage of respondents were not satisfied with cuffs. Respondents answered that the cuffs were in danger and inconvenient because of broad cuffs. In regard of color, preference for white were high and followed with ivory, light sky, light green. and then light pink. Materials of current lab gowns were cotton/polyester or polyester 100%. Sixty-eight percentage of respondents were satisfied with that and others were not. The reasons for dissatisfactions were as follows; those materials were not protective to chemicals thoroughly enough. Cotton/polyester materials were heavy. Wearing sensation of polyester 100% was not good.
