This paper designs and implements the 2 plug type standby power control outlet based on IEEE 802.15.4 using Zigbee and IPv6 network in order to reduce the standby power to the user. The standby power control system is consisted of direct power and standby power plug. Also this system can communicate bidirectionally in wireless because built-in wireless communication modules. One gateway is linked with many standby power control outlet in wireless. Each standby power control outlet executes the operation needed in power control independently. Also each standby power control outlet has its own power can be detected in real time independently of the power can be controlled.

Recently the POS system market expands rapidly due to the advance of global restaurant franchises into domestic market and increase of speciality restaurants. Especially, demand for low-cost models increases sharply as small and medium-sized retailers and restaurants adopt the POS system actively. According to the current trend of the POS system, in this study, we develop an embedded-type wireless POS system using Zigbee communication, which can be used efficiently in spacious stores without space and/or time limit. The POS system is designed and implemented with three objectives: first, we develop embedded-type POS system cheaper than PC-type POS system, second, we develop a competitive product with high quality and low cost and last, we focus on developing a POS system which can be used in the food service industry.

Zigbee that is the wireless personal area networks communication technology for low power consumption is low-cost, low-power consumption, and small size and program code. From the present paper symbol and chip sequence of existing Zigbee module undergarment PN code generators which are a 1:1 mapping method it uses shift register and it plans the method which it proposes. The experimental result used Xilinx ISE and it measured synthesis and timing and power.

본 과제는 각종 센서를 활용하여 빠르고 정확하게 화재를 감지하고 스프링클러를 활용한 초기진압과 동시에 어플리케이션을 통한 자동신고 기능을 포함하고 있다. 열/연기 감지센서를 통해 빠르게 화재 발생을 감지하고 화재감지기에 부착되는 Zigbee통신으로 스프링클러 시스템과 통신하여 초기진압을 하며, 고유 번호로 정확한 화재진원지를 파악하여 소방원들의 화재진압에 도움이 된다. 또한 연동되어있는 어플리케이션의 자동 신고기능을 통해 소방서에 정보를 제공하여 빠른 출동이 가능하게 되고 스피커를 통해 화재발생시 화재경보로 알려주어 신속한 대피를 할 수 있다.

This paper investigates protocol architecture for a web-sensor gateway interconnecting internet and wireless sensor network, in which Zigbee sensors are connected over the IEEE802.15.4 communication protocol standard. The web-sensor gateway is to deliver data between TCP/IP and Zigbee/IEEE802.15.4 protocols, transparently. Since the gateway provides a means to remotely control and aggregate sensor data over the internet, it needs to be designed in the view point of users and in their convenience. In accordance, the common gateway interface technology satisfying users on the web browser to efficiently manage and query the sensors in the wireless sensor networks, ubiquitously, is also introduced. Finally, a simulation prototype for the web-sensor gateway is proposed and verified using OPNET simulation tool.

위치 정보를 얻기 위해 GPS를 이용하며 다수의 GPS 안테나를 이용하면 자세까지 구할 수 있다. 그러나 실내에서는 GPS 신호 세기가 너무 약해 동작하지 않는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 GPS 대신 Zigbee와 초음파를 이용하여 실내에서도 위치와 자세를 구하는 기법을 제시하였다. Zigbee 신호와 초음파 신호의 도착 시간차로부터 송신기와 수신기간의 거리를 구할 수 있으며 이로부터 위치를 구할 수 있다. 여기에 추가의 발신기를 장착하면 두 발신기의 위치 차이로 정의되는 기저선 벡터를 구할 수 있으며 이로부터 자세를 구할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 발신기를 이용하여 효과적으로 기저선 벡터를 구하는 기법과, 이로부터 자세를 구하는 시스템을 구축하였다. 추가로 오차해석을 통하여 구해진 자세의 정확도를 예측하였다. 실제 실험을 통하여 20cm 간격의 두 발신기를 이용하여 1도 이하의 오차를 갖는 방위각과 앙각을 연속적으로 구할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

In this paper, a remote submersion warning system based on multi-mode optical fiber(MMF) sensors and a wireless sensor network(WSN) are proposed. To improve the reliability and stability of the sensors, the dual optical fiber sensors combined to the optical coupler are demonstrated. A slave zigbee as a wireless sensor module was used as a platform to monitor and record the signal from the MMF sensors and then transmits these information to a master zigbee wirelessly. The monitoring system running the $LabVIEW^{(R)}$ software was connected to the internet to support the short message service(SMS) through extensible markup language(XML) web service. No matter where the managers are, they can always receive the real-time remote-monitoring data for safety check.

It is important to efficiently elect the cluster header in Hierarchical Sensor Network, because it largely affects on the lifetime of the network. Therefore, recent research is focused on the lifetime extension of the whole network for efficient cluster header election. In this paper, we propose the new Cluster Header Election Scheme in which the cluster is divided into Group considering Distance from Upper Node, and a cluster header will be elected by node density of the Group. Also, we evaluate the performance of this scheme, and show that this proposed scheme improves network lifetime in Zigbee environment.

현재 및 미래에는 무선통신의 효용성이 증가되면서 다양한 분야에서 유선과 무선을 통합한 형태의 연결망이 구축되고 있으며, 이에 따라 저속, 저가, 저전력의 무선통신 분야의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 저속, 저가, 저전력의 무선통신 분야인 Zigbee(IEEE 802.15.4)의 표준안과 이를 기반으로 한 Wireless Home Safety Supervisor System에 대해서 제안 고찰하였다.

본 논문에서는 Zigbee와 초음파 센서를 이용한 실내 항법 시스템을 제안한 시스템 Zigbee라는 단거리 무선 통신 망을 이용하여 수집한 후 이동체의 위치를 추정한다. 제안한 시스템에서는 여러 곳에 초음파 센서를 설치하고 이동체까지 측정한 거리는 실내 항법에 적합한 위치 추정 기법을 결정하기 위하여 최소자승법과 직접풀이법의 성능을 모의실험을 통하여 비교하였고, 두 기법 모두 충분히 작은 오차를 가지는 것을 확인하였는데 최소자승법은 선형화 기준점 설정에 따라 발산하는 경우가 나타나는 것을 볼 수 있었다.
