Several ureas and thioureas were designed and synthesized and their inhibitory activities of NO production in lipopolysaccharide-activated macrophages were evaluated. Among these compounds, indole-containing thiourea 6e was the most potent showing 17.4 ${\mu}M$ of $IC_{50}$ value.

Recently, there has been a growth of single families around the world and it has become one big consumer population. Now, all constructions companies have to study and to make researches about single family lifestyles for much more beneficial housing plans and marketing strategies. They purpose of this study is to analyze and to suggest what kind of bathroom is suitable and comfortable for them. So, by using the SPSS Windows 12.0, I managed to get the results through the frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, one-way anova, t-test etc. The results are 5 life-styles: Substantial Style, Informative Style, Expressive Style, Natural Style and Healthy Style.

An automation of standardized rebar shop drawing is necessary for easy application by improving workability, prompt preparation to field change request and easy revisions of shop drawing. Through investigating problem of current rebar shop drawing, we found that standardization of reinforcing detail, standardization of rebar expression and automation of rebar shop drawing program for the sake of designer is needed. We will investigate disagreement of reinforcing detail between building code and how worker build structure for standardization of reinforcing detail, demands of companies participated in rebar process for standardization of rebar expression and proper algorithm with selectable level of inputting data for automation of rebar shop drawing program for the sake of designer.

Comparisons of joint probability density distribution obtained from the raw data of measured droplet sizes and velocities in a transient diesel fuel spray with computed joint probability density function were made. Simultaneous droplet sizes and velocities were obtained using PDPA. Mathematical probability density functions which can fit the experimental distributions were extracted using the principle of maximum likelihood. Through the statistical process of functions, mean droplet diameters, non-dimensional mass, momentum and kinetic energy were estimated and compared with the experimental ones. A joint log-hyperbolic density function presents quite well the experimental joint density distribution which were extracted from experimental data.

Mg alloys have been developed for automobile and mobile equipments because of their low density of $1.7g/cm^3$. One of the main problems of Mg alloys is their poor corrosion resistance which has limited their wide applications. Plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) method is one of the promising surface treatment methods for Mg alloys. In this presentation, experimental data about the effects of solution composition and form of current are presented and discussed in view of dielectric breakdown and reformation of PEO films The role of various anions of phosphate, silicate, fluoride, carbonate and hydroxide ions is discussed in view of film breakdown and reformation of PEO films.

SRY gene is normally responsible for testis induction, yet testis development can occur in the absence of SRY. In here, we analyzed the SRY-negative sex reversal in cocker spaniel, at 1.5 year-old. The attacked dog was suffered from enlarged clitoris, and resulted in disorder of urination. By surgically approach, enlarged clitoris and one testis, which are apparently seen, are removed. Additionally, thorough the abdomen surgery, uterus and ovary-like mass were removed. The dog had XX, chromosome, showed negative for SRY-gene, and the mass had the ovary-testis structure. In other words, based on the macroscopic, cytogenic, and histological study, we can diagnose the cocker spaniel as SRY-negative sex reversal.

보호장치는 전력계통에 고장이 발생할 경우 신속 정확 하게 고장을 검출하여 고장부분을 계통으로부터 분리시킴으로써 각종 설비의 손상을 막고 정전구간을 최소화 하여 계통의 안정화를 향상시키는 장치이다. 현재 한전 및 발전사 뿐만아니라 수자원공사의 수도사업장에서도는 원격감시 제어를 통한 무인화와 함께 디지털보호계전기가 설치 운영되고 있다. 디지털 보호계전기는 기존의 기계식 보호계전기가 수행하는 보호기능보다 우수한 성능이 입증되었으며 최근 반도체 기술의 비약적 발전과 보호 알고리즘의 지속적인 개발로 보호계전기의 디지털화가 가속되고 있고 더욱 개선된 고성능, 다기능의 보호계전기 또는 IED가 산업현장에 적용되는 추세에 있다. 본 논문에서는 과전압 보호계전기와 부족전압 보호계전기의 기능 및 동작특성에 대하여 연구하였다.

The rectus abdominis myocutaneous flap is frequently used in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery such as breast reconstruction and as a donor of free tissue transfer. Major problems with this flap is bulkiness, the possibility of postoperative abdominal herniation and muscle weakness following the removal of the rectus abdominis muscle. We used paraumbilical perforator based skin flap fed by a muscle perforator from the deep inferior epigastric artery, with no or little muscle and fatty tissue, in three patients for the resurfacing of relatively wide and thin defects. This technique has all of the advantages of the conventional rectus abdominis myocutaneous flap with decreased possibility of postoperative abdominal herniation or muscle weakness. Another challenging merit is possibility of skin flap thinning.
