인터넷에 기반하고 있는 전자상거래에서 무엇보다도 중요한 기술 요소는 거래 정보를 교환하는데 있어서 안정성을 보장하는 것이다. 이러한 보안 문제를 위한 다양한 기술들이 표준으로 제시되고 있다. 그 중에서도 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)이 전자상거래 시스템의 문서 표준으로 다양한 분야에서 사용되면서 XML 보안이 새로운 분야로 등장하였다. 본 논문에서는 웹 서비스(Web Services) 기반의 전자상거래 시스템에서 거래 정보의 안전한 교환을 위한 XML 보안 모델을 제안한다. XML 문서에 대한 보안을 이루기 위해서 XML 서명, XML 암호화와 XML 키 관리 체계가 기존의 보안과 다른 차이점을 제시하고 고유 특성에 바탕을 둔 새로운 구조를 제시한다. 특히 전자상거래에 필요한 프로세스 관리 시스템과의 통합을 이룰 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

As Internet spreads rapidly, the industrial structure is changing to a new paradigm. The previous EDI system was asked to change and WEB EDI, E-Mail EDI, FTP EDI etc. which are based on the internet appeared. These days the XML/EDI which has XML document appeared. The XML/EDI consider advantages and disadvantages of VAN/EDI and EDI which based on the internet. Also, EDI system has to assure a safe exchange between sender and receiver. But, the internet has security problems because it uses a open TCP/IP protocol. Although there are many methods for security, it is being studied with XML concept. On this paper, we will suppose the XML/EDI system model with XML Signature, and build a procedure of electronic signature and delivery of document between sender and receiver.

효율적인 데이터 관리 및 처리를 위하여 XML이 웹 기반 웅용 시스템 에 적용되었다. 또한, ASP는 쉬운 웹 기반 프로그래밍의 구현을 가능하게 하였으며, UML은 시스템 모델링 기법의 새로운 대안으로 연구되고있다. 이에 관하여, 본 논문에서는 XML, ASP, UML을 이용하여 학생 수강신청 관리 시스템을 구현하였다. 이는, 학생모드와 관리자 모드로 구성되었으며, 효과적인 데이터 관리 및 처리를 위한 XML을 이용하였다. 또한, 시스템 분석 및 설계를 위하여 UML을 이용하였으며, 전체 시스템은 ASP로 구현하였다. 그리고, 데이터베이스는 MS-ACCESS를 이용하였으며, 웹 문서의 효율적인 활용을 위하여 Java Script 언어를 사용하였다.

Systematic management of data related to business process, and information exchange within existing information systems or between different companies have recently become an important issue. This paper tries to solve such problems by using form based workflow system using XML(extensible Markup Language), a standard for digital document exchange. In this system, a new model that formalizes documents into XML form documents and manages them is developed. By defining and operating form documents by XML, information exchange within existing information systems such as ERP and SCM or between different companies, and interoperability between different WFMS can be easily achieved. In addition, by matching form, a formalized document, with existing database schema, WFMS can be directly applied to existing information system, thus enabling continuity of data management and business activity.

기존의 종이문서 형태로 관리되는 재해관리 문서체계는 책자 형태로 관리되고 있어 정보의 원활한 공유 및 관리가 곤란하고, 문서정보의 상이한 포맷으로 유사업무에 대한 정보 공유의 효율성이 저하되고 있으며, 단순한 텍스트 매뉴얼을 통한 정보의 열람으로 그 활용 범위에 한계성을 갖고 있다. 재해관리 업무의 특성상 방대한 업무지침서, 영상정보 등은 재해관리의 신속성을 확보하기 위해 전자문서화가 필수적으로 요구된다. 또한 현재 전자문서 표준이 점차 DTD에서 XML 스키마로 대체될 것이므로 전자문서 구성시에는 XML체계로 적용됨이 바람직하다. 본 연구에서는 재해 취약시설물의 사전예방과 복구 대처방안 등의 관련 업무 매뉴얼과 각종 정보들을 전자적으로 제공하여 재해관리 업무의 정보화 및 간소화가 가능하도록 XML기반 재해 전자문서체계의 절차적 구성방법을 제시한다. 연구에서는 제시된 방법론에 근거하여 가상 운용 시나리오를 구성하여 활용성을 검증하고 있다.

XML은 W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)에서 제안한, 인터넷 환경에서의 데이터 표현과 교환을 위한 표준 마크업 언어이다. 최근에는 XML 문서의 사용과 XML 문서의 양이 급속하게 증가하여 언제 어디서나 쉽게 필요한 XML 문서에 액세스할 수 있어야 한다. 이에 따라 분산 환경에서의 XML 문서의 처리가 요구되면서 분산 XML 저장 시스템(Distributed XML Repository System)이 개발되고 있다. 이를 위해 분산 XML 저장 시스템에서의 시스템 카탈로그 관리 기법에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 분산 XML 저장시스템에서 CPU 비용, I/O 비용, 동시성 제어, 이단계 완료 프로토콜, 큐잉 지연 등을 모두 고려하고, 합리적으로 매개변수를 설정하고 시뮬레이션을 수행함으로써 중앙 집중식 카탈로그, 완전 중복식 카탈로그, 분할식 카탈로그 관리 기법의 성능을 평가하였다.

모바일 환경의 제한된 자원하에서 MPEG-7 데이터의 관리를 위해 내장형 데이터베이스 기술을 사용할 수 있다. 이 때 XML 문서 클러스터링 방법들을 이용할 수 있겠으나 보다 효율성을 높이기 위해 MPEG-7 문서를 효율적으로 저장하기 위한 클러스터링 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 PDA와 같은 모바일 단말기에서 MPEG-7 문서를 효율적으로 저장할 수 있는 MPEG-7 문서 관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 MPEG-7 데이터 클러스터링 방법을 기반으로 전용 내장형 XML 데이터베이스 시스템인 버클리 DB XML을 이용하였다.

New trends such as electronic commerce, virtual organizations, e-business applications, etc. increase the dependence of production management on information software systems and contribute to the needs for global, distributed object systems. This paper presents a component based approach for production management systems under the multi-tier distributed information system architecture using UML(Unified Modeling Language), CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture) and XML(eXtensible Markup Language) technologies, and propose rules for mapping a UML class diagram to a XML DTD (Document Type Definition). And we adapt it to the prototype system implementation. The components are implemented by CORBA and we use XML messages for the information exchange between components.

One of the important applications for business-to-business electronic commerce is in procurement and inventory management using electronic data interchange(EDI). Using online catalogs and approved supplier lists, firms can easily create requisitions and purchasing documents. The emerging trend in EDI technology is changed from VAN(Value Added Network) based EDI to XML based EDI. This paper intends to suggest a component-based XML/EDI system using Unified Modeling Language(UML), as an application system for automobile part industry. Applying component based XML/EDI systems designed with UML methodology, we analyzed the workflow and the document on procurement process between trading partners and implemented a prototype of efficient XML/EDI system, as a surrogate of existing VAN/EDI. The result of applying object-oriented CBD(Component Based Development) technique is to minimize the risk of life cycle and facilitate the reuse of software as mentioned to limitation of information engineering methodology. It enables the interoperability with corporate legacy systems such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning), SCM(Supply Chain Management). This system proposes a solution to apply analysis phase and design phase in implementation of XML/EDI system. The implementation of XML/EDI system using CBD shows the ease of use in software reuse and the interoperability with corporate internal information system. The purchasing department with XML/EDI system can electronically communicate purchase orders, delivery schedules to external suppliers and interoperate with other application systems.

관계형 데이타베이스에 저장되어 있는 데이타를 XML 문서로 추출하기 위해서는 데이블에 저장된 데이타를 XML 문서 형식에 맞는 계층적인 관계를 가지도록 구조화하는 과정이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 관계형 데이타베이스를 사용하는 XML 저장 및 검색 시스템인 eXDM(embedded XML Database Management System)의 내부에서 구현한 XML 문서 추출 서브시스템에 대하여 기술한다. 이 시스템은 XML 문서에 대한 질의(XQuery)의 RETURN 절과 SORTBY 절을 분석하여, 관계형 데이타베이스에 저장되어 있는 데이타를 구조화하여 계층적인 구조를 가지는 XML 문서 형태로 추출한다.
