XML architecture is important to wireless or wired presentation. It is also important for data exchange between businesses. XML forces the separation of content from style and gives wired or wireless devices flexibility for interpretation. Separation of content, style, and logic is key to advanced architecture. XML can be exchanged among databases on multiple systems with presentation on wired or wireless devices. An XML schema might need to be defined, or an established DTD might need to be transformed to access a relational database on the server. The purpose of this study is to generate XML documents such as DTD, XML schema, RDB mapping using Tagfree's XML developer tools in order to experience whole processes mentioned above. Overall understanding of data structures of and database processing with XML documents, which is essential to XML programming and database processing, can be accomplished with this study without much endeavor to learn complex XML syntax. The future study can be extended on the subject of web programming with DOM or SAX API.

Recent business environments require a company to communicate frequently with other companies. This makes it essential to use XML (eXtensible Markup Language) documents for integration of information systems. Especially in e-Business environments, change management of documents is important to record and trace the history of the documents. In this paper, we propose a new method of storing a document by detecting changes automatically and reconstructing the document version when a user requests. In addition, based on the method, we also propose a model to recover a document into previous state even when system errors occur. A prototype system is implemented on top of a workflow system and an experiment is carried out to present efficiency of our method. Our approach provides efficiency of storage space and convenient management of documents.

Electronic Navigational Chart is a sophisticated digital chart which contains navigational information such as coastline, depth of water, and nautical mark. It contains high levels of textual, spatial and graphical data, and rapidly replaces traditional paper charts. Although Electronic Navigational Chart has been successfully applied to the navigation of ships, the specific data format, S-57, requires some specialized systems. Furthermore its usage may be limited to specific domains and experts with restrictions. To overcome these limitations resulting from the specific data format, S-57, of Electronic Navigational Chart, more general data format such as XML will be preferred. If Electronic Navigational Chart is transformed into the form of XML, it can be easily accessed and exchanged on the internet. Therefore it may be used for more users and applications. In this paper, we propose an XML. Schema to equivalently represent XML for the S-57 format of Electronic Navigational Chart and develop a program translating the S-57 Electronic Navigational chart to XML document according to the proposed XML schema.

학술지 데이터 베이스 구축에 있어서 가장 주요한 문제점온 기존 문헌의 디지털화이다. 기존 문헌을 디지털화함에 있어서 택할 수 있는 방법은 문서 인식기(OCR)를 통한 자동인식과 수작업을 통해서 컴퓨터로 입력하는 방법이 있다. 전자의 방법은 현재의 한글 문서 인식기술로 볼 때 인식률이 저조하고, 인식기를 통한 자동인식에서 발생된 오류를 수정하는 비용이 수작업으로 입력하는 비용에 비해 더 크다고 판단된다. 따라서 자료의 입력은 수작업으로 하는 것이 효율적이다 학술지 데이터 베이스들 구축하고 이를 서비스하기 위해 서는 입력된 텍스트 데이터를 표준화하여 구조적으로 변환/편집해야 한다. 이는 구조문서 표준이라 할 수 있는 XML의 이용이 필요하다는 말이기도 할 것이다. 또한 디지털화 된 문서를 효율적으로 활용하고 관리하기 위해서는 비쥬얼한 구조문서 저장 관리기가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 디지털화 된 텍스트를 구조적인 XML문서로 변환하여 효과적으로 저장 관리 할 수 있는 저장관리기를 설계하고 개발하였다.

The ESES system has been developed to supply a digital signature function, an encryption function, and a library of cryptographic primitives and algorithm for securing an XML document and the existing non-XML documents that are exchanged in the electronic commerce. In this paper, we will introduce the overview of ESES system and explain how the ESES processes to offer security services Finally we\`ll conclude our talk by presenting the summary and further works.

정보통신 기술의 비약적인 발전은 시간적 공간적 제약이 존재하지 않는 방대한 양의 정보와 지식의 교환의 장인 가상시장 전자적 시장이라는 용어로 대변되는 전자상거래 시스템에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 또한 기존의 인터넷에 많이 사용하던 HTML의 한계와 SGML의 복잡함을 해결한 XML을 차세대 문서형식으로 이용하려는 추세이다 본 논문에서는 인터넷을 이용한 전자상거래가 보편화 되는 시점에서 XML을 적용하는 방법에 대해서 고찰하고자 한다.

In this paper, XML form generator is designed and implemented on the basis of e-business's DTD (Document Type Definition) document. Rapid evolving for internet services and information infrastructure give many impacts on the e-business, it need to make a new kinds of web-based or electronic-based document formats for e-business transaction trading. In current situations, there are many kinds of document formats on conventional business documents for each companies. And, it has many problems on the aspects of the document reusability and cost to support interoperability between documents for the trading partners. To solve this interoperability of documents, the constructed XML form generator is changing XML form document into HTML (HyperText Markup Language) based web document by XSLT. And it also generates XML business message validating for e-Business DTD by user Inputs.

In terms of B2B, business partners require works that define 1h13ir ability to operate business collaboration. The document outlining collaboration is the basis of improving the system of business partner and its interoperability. In addition, the definition of business interaction that is based on the documents demonstrating inter-cooperation of business companies is needed to function interoperability properly, and business trading is performed depending on the documents that define reciprocal action of collaboration. In ebXML, CPP(Collaboration-Protocol Profile) defines one business partner's technical capabilities to engage in electronic business collaborations with other partners by exchanging electronic messages. A CPA(Collaboration-Protocol Agreement) documents the technical agreement between two partners to engage in electronic business collaboration. In this paper, I draw up a plan for a composer system that deals with business collaboration document to ameliorate the interoperability of B2B companies.

This study describes the XML-based digitalization of structural design sheets for RC buildings to exchange on the web. For this purpose, first, the data structure of XML document that represents the structural design skeets, including mathematical expressions and graphics that cannot be easily exchanged on the web, is defined. Then, the presentation of the XML documents on the web is discussed. The prototype that facilitates the web-based exchange of the XML documents we developed and the feasibility of the results of this study is discussed.

XML은 표준화와 운영체제 중립적이라는 특성 때문에 전자상거래에서 중요한 위치를 차지하며, 이미 많은 전자상거래 시스템에서 이용하고 있다. B2B 전자상거래분야를 위해서는 기업간 비즈니스에 대한 업무 규칙과 절차가 표준화되어야 한다. 그러나 기업들이 표준화 된 XML 문서를 사용하는 것이 아니라 기업의 실정에 맞게 시스템을 구축하여 기업간 XML 문서 전달을 하고 있어, 이에 따라 많은 문제점이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 요구를 기반으로 많은 조직과 기업에서는 XML을 기반으로 하는 전자상거래 표준화 작업을 프레임 워크 형태로 진행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 TCP/IP 기반의 메시징 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였으며, 시스템을 모듈별로 설계를 하였기 때문에 시스템의 확장성이 용이하다. 본 메시징 시스템을 전자상거래 시스템에 적용하여 효율적으로 이용할 수 있을 것이다.
