We study the Bayes estimation procedure of ${\theta}=P_r$=(Y < X) when the experiment is terminated before all of the items on the test have failed and the failed items are partially replaced. Comparisons with the M.L.E., M.V.U.E. and Bayes estimator are made through Monte Carlo simulation.

In this paper, we obtain some results on the Hyers-Ulam stability for the family of the functional equation f(xоy) = $H(f(x)^{1/t},f(y)^{1/t}$) (x, $y{\in}S$), where H is a homogeneous function of degree t and о is a square-symmetric operation on the set S.

This paper describes two FMS, which were developed by SAEIL Heavy Industries. One is FMS for machining of circular parts, that are automobile's axle shafts. This system consists of 13 units, including 7 CNC machine tools. The other is FMS for machining of non-circular parts namely casted or steel block within size of 1.2 X 1.2 X 1.5m. This FMS consists of 8-machining centers, 1-automated warehouse, 2-unmanned Robo Trailers, and computer control room. All systems are functioning satisfactorily and so help greately towards automation of Korean industries.

In this paper, we show that for any continuous map $f$ of the circle $S^1$ to itself, (1) $x{\in}{\Omega}(f){\backslash}\overline{R(f)}$, then $x$ is not a turning point of $f$ and (2) if $P(f)$ is non-empty, then $R(f)$ is closed if and only if $AP(f)$ is closed.

We study the geometry of the images of 1-dimensional homogeneous submersions for each of the model spaces X of the eight 3-dimensional geometries. In particular, We shall calculate the group of isometries and the curvatures of the base surfaces for each of the model spaces of 3-dimensional geometries, with respect to every closed subgroup of the isometries of X acting freely.

전자우편서비스가 확대됨에 따라 정보 보호 문제가 중요한 현안으로 대두될 것이다. 이러한 필요성에 따라, MHS(Message Handling System) 시스템의 정보보호(Information Security) 서비스에 관련된 표준화(X.400 series)와 보안 서비스에 관련된 키 관리 메카니즘 표준화(X.509)출 분석하려다. 본 연구에서는 여러가지 보안서비스 중, 안전한 메시지 전송을 위해 1차적으로 메시지 비밀보장, 메시지 무결성, 발신처 인증 서비스를 위 한 SMP(Secure Message Protocol ) 프로토콜을 설계하여 UNIX BSD 4.3 시스템환경에서 구현하였다.
