  • In this study, we propose characteristics improvement methods according to via hole plating method for FBAR Duplexer with US PCS($T_x$:1850MHz~1910MHz, $R_x$:1930MHz~1990MHz) bandwidth which is used for wireless systems. Also, we designed and fabricated 3.8*3.8*1.8mm size microminiature FBAR Duplexer based on this proposal. First of all, in this study, we fabricated pentagon shape resonators by different size to make filter combination, and their quality factor(Q) are 687 with 6.6% of $k_{eff}^2$. Using this resonators, designed 3*2Type $T_x$ filter and 3*4Type $R_x$ filter. The transmission line, which works as phase shifter, is designed with $210{\mu}m$ in width and 18mm in length Stripline type. Inductor, which is used for matching component, is designed with width of $75{\mu}m$, a technically achievable minimum width. And adopted plating method of filling via hole with conductive epoxy for improved grounding and thermal conductivity. Using these configuration with all of the matching component values, we found Duplexer characteristics of -1.57dB ~ -1.73dB in insertion loss, -56dB in attenuation at 1850MHz~1910MHz of $T_x$ band. Also, found -2.71 dB ~ -3.23dB in insertion loss, -58dB in attenuation at 1930MHz~1990MHz of $R_x$ band.

  • We present a novel method for 3D microfabrication with LIGA process that utilizes a deep X-ray mask in which a micro-actuator is integrated. The integrated micro-actuator oscillates the X-ray absorber, which is formed on the shuttle mass of the micro-actuator, during X-ray exposures to modify the absorbed dose profile in X-ray resist, typically PMMA. 3D PMMA microstructures according to the modulated dose contour are revealed after GG development. An X-ray mask with integrated comb drive actuator is fabricated using deep reactive ion etching, absorber electroplating, and bulk micromachining with silicon-on-insulator (SOI) wafer. 1mm $\times$ 1 mm, 20 $\mu$m thick silicon shuttle mass as a mask blank is supported by four 1 mm long suspension beams and is driven by the comb electrodes. A 10 $\mu$m thick, 50 $\mu$m line and spaced gold absorber pattern is electroplated on the shuttle mass before the release step. The fundamental frequency and amplitude are around 3.6 kHz and 20 $\mu$m, respectively, for a do bias of 100 V and an ac bias of 20 $V_{p-p}$ (peak-peak). Fabricated PMMA microstructure shows 15.4 $\mu$m deep, S-shaped cross section in the case of 1.6 kJ $cm^{-3}$ surface dose and GG development at 35$^{\circ}C$ for 40 minutes.

  • Since the stereoscopic 3-dimensional (3D) video that provides users with a realistic multimedia service requires twice as much data as 2-dimensional (2D) video, it is difficult to construct the fast system. In this paper, we propose a fast stereoscopic 3D broadcasting system based on the depth information. Before the transmission, we encode the input 2D+depth video using x264, an open source H.264/AVC fast encoder to reduce the size of the data. At the receiver, we decode the transmitted bitstream in real time using a compute unified device architecture (CUDA) video decoder API on NVIDIA graphics processing unit (GPU). Then, we apply a fast view synthesis method that generates the virtual view using GPU. The proposed system can display the output video in both 2DTV and 3DTV. From the experiment, we verified that the proposed system can service the stereoscopic 3D contents in 24 frames per second at most.

  • We present a novel 3D fabrication method with single X-ray process utilizing an X-ray mask in which a micro-actuator is integrated. An X-ray absorber is electroplated on the shuttle mass driven by the integrated micro-actuator during deep X-ray exposures. 3D microstructures are revealed by development kinetics and modulated in-depth dose distribution in resist, usually PMMA. Fabrication of X-ray masks with integrated electrothermal xy-stage and electrostatic actuator is presented along with discussions on PMMA development characteristics. Both devices use $20-\mu\textrm{m}$-thick overhanging single crystal Si as a structural material and fabricated using deep reactive ion etching of silicon-on-insulator wafer, phosphorous diffusion, gold electroplating, and bulk micromachining process. In electrostatic devices, $10-\mu\textrm{m}-thick$ gold absorber on $1mm{\times}1mm$ Si shuttle mass is supported by $10-\mu\textrm{m}-wide$, 1-mm-long suspension beams and oscillated by comb electrodes during X-ray exposures. In electrothermal devices, gold absorber on 1.42 mm diameter shuttle mass is oscillated in x and y directions sequentially by thermal expansion caused by joule heating of the corresponding bent beam actuators. The fundamental frequency and amplitude of the electrostatic devices are around 3.6 kHz and $20\mu\textrm{m}$, respectively, for a dc bias of 100 V and an ac bias of 20 VP-P (peak-peak). Displacements in x and y directions of the electrothermal devices are both around $20{\;}\mu\textrm{m}$at 742 mW input power. S-shaped and conical shaped PMMA microstructures are demonstrated through X-ray experiments with the fabricated devices.

  • The new layered perovskite manganites $La_{0.5}Sr_{1.5}Mn_{0.5}Cr_{0.5-x}Fe_xO_4$ (x=0.15, 0.3) have been prepared by standard ceramic method. The powder X-ray diffraction studies show that the phases crystallize with tetragonal unit cell in the space group I4/mmm. The electrical transport properties suggest that the phases show insulating behaviour and the electrical conduction in the phases occurs by a 3D variable range hopping mechanism. The magnetic properties suggest that both the phases are antiferromagnetic.

  • The purpose of this paper is to prove that the noncommutative version of the Singer-Wermer Conjecture is affirmative under certain conditions. Let A be a noncommutative Banach algebra. We show that if there exists a continuous linear Jordan derivation D : A ${\rightarrow}$ A such that [D(x), x]$D(x)^3{\in}$ rad(A) for all $x{\in}A$, then D(A) ${\subseteq}$ rad(A).

  • For a nondegenerate projective irreducible variety $X{\subset}{\mathbb{P}}^r$, it is a natural problem to find an upper bound for the value of $${\ell}_{\beta}(X)=max\{length(X{\cap}L){\mid}L={\mathbb{P}}^{\beta}{\subset}{\mathbb{P}}^r,\;{\dim}(X{\cap}L)=0\}$$ for each $1{\leq}{\beta}{\leq}e$. When X is locally Cohen-Macaulay, A. Noma in [10] proves that ${\ell}_{\beta}(X)$ is at most $d-e+{\beta}$ where d and e are respectively the degree and the codimension of X. In this paper, we construct some surfaces $S{\subset}{\mathbb{P}}^5$ of degree $d{\in}\{7,{\ldots},12\}$ which satisfies the inequality $${\ell}_2(S){\geq}d-3+{\lfloor}{\frac{d}{2}}{\rfloor}$$. This shows that Noma's bound is no more valid for locally non-Cohen-Macaulay varieties.

  • Let {$X,\;X_n;n{\geq}1$} be a sequence of i.i.d. random variables. Set $S_n=X_1+X_2+{\cdots}+X_n,\;M_n=\max_{k{\leq}n}|S_k|,\;n{\geq}1$. Then we obtain that for any -1$\lim\limits_{{\varepsilon}{\searrow}0}\;{\varepsilon}^{2b+2}\sum\limits_{n=1}^\infty\;{\frac {(log\;n)^b}{n^{3/2}}\;E\{M_n-{\varepsilon}{\sigma}\sqrt{n\;log\;n\}+=\frac{2\sigma}{(b+1)(2b+3)}\;E|N|^{2b+3}\sum\limits_{k=0}^\infty\;{\frac{(-1)^k}{(2k+1)^{2b+3}$ if and only if EX=0 and $EX^2={\sigma}^2<{\infty}$.
