75 kW 이상 농용트랙터 작업실태 분석 (Analysis of Operation Status for Agricultural Tractors Over 75 kW)

  • In this study, surveys on operation status of the 73 tractors with rated power of over 75 kW from six provinces in Korea were performed to obtain basic data required for development and efficient use of the high-power and high-performance tractors. And types of tractors and implements, operation crops, types of operations, annual operation areas, annual operation days, annual operation hours, operation speeds and widths, and problems and improvements in use were investigated. Most (91.7%) of the tractor surveyed were operated for forage and silage crops such as rice straw, whole barley, rye grass, reed canary grass, sudan grass, and the remains were operated for upland crops such as ginseng, sweet potato, potato, chinese cabbage, radish. Main operations of the tractors were cutting, baling, and wrapping for forage crops, plow tillage, rotary tillage, and manure spreading. About half (47.9%) of the tractors were used exclusively for forage crop harvesting such as forage crop cutting, forage baling, and bale wrapping, 24.5% of the tractors were used exclusively for plow or rotary tillage, and 27.4% of the tractors were used for both forage crop harvesting, and plow or rotary tillage. For the tractors with power ranges of 75~83, 89~94, 98~101, 113, 124 kW, average annual operation areas per tractor for plow tillage, rotary tillage, forage crop harvesting (cutting, baling, wrapping), and manure spreading operations were analyzed as 112.6. 144.8, 158.9. 390.0. 215.6 ha, respectively. and total average annual operation area per tractor was 171.3 ha. Average annual operation days per tractor for those operations were analyzed as 24.1, 28.9, 38.3, 55.4, 33.4, respectively, and total average annual operation days per tractor was 33.6. Average annual operation hours per tractor for them were analyzed as 260.0, 321.6, 408.1, 664.8, 413.8, respectively, and total average annual operation hours per tractor for the all tractors was 377.1. Ranges of operation widths of plow tillage, rotary tillage, forage crop cutting, forage baling, bale wrapping, and manure spreading operations were shown as 1.5~2.6, 2.3~3.0, 1.8~3.2, 1.8~2.0, 1.8~2.3, 3.1~6.6 m, respectively. Ranges of operation speed of plow tillage, rotary tillage, forage crop cutting, forage baling, bale wrapping, and manure spreading were shown as 6~9, 4~11, 9~16, 8~15, 8~17, 12~16 km/h, respectively.

Flexural strengthening of RC Beams with low-strength concrete using GFRP and CFRP

  • The Turkish Earthquake Code was revised in 1998 and 2007. Before these Codes, especially 1998, reinforced concrete (RC) beams with low flexural and shear strength were widely used in the building. In this study, the RC specimens have been produced by taking into consideration the RC beams with insufficient shear and tensile reinforcement having been manufactured with the use of concrete with low strength. The performance of the RC specimens strengthened with different wrapping methods by using of Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) and Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) composites have been examined in terms of flexural strength, ductility and energy absorption capacity. In the strengthening of the RC elements, the use of GFRP composites instead of CFRP composites has also been examined. For this purpose, the experimental results of the RC specimens strengthened by wrapping with CFRP and GFRP are presented and discussed. It has been concluded that although the flexural and shear strengths of the RC beams strengthened with GFRP composites are lower than those of beams reinforced with CFRP, their ductility and energy absorption capacities are very high. Moreover, the RC beams strengthened with CFRP fracture are more brittle when compared to GFRP.

폴리에틸렌 필름에서의 수용성 미끄럼 방지 접착제의 내습 특성 개선 (Improvement of Moisture Resistance of Aqueous Slip-Resistant Adhesive on the Polyethylene Film)

  • 현재 포장 공정에서 사용되고 있는 stretch wrapping 공정은 초기 포장기의 장치 구비 등의 가격문제와 사용 후 폐기되는 포장재의 처리문제가 심각하다. 이에 대해 미끄럼 방지 접착제(Slip-resistant adhesive)를 사용하여 물류를 고정하여 운반하는 방식은 간단한 접착제의 도입으로 폐기물 발생이 없고 공정이 간단하며 비용이 매우 낮은 장점을 지닌다. 본 연구에서는 다습한 환경에서 polyethylene 필름 상에 미끄럼 방지 접착제를 적용했을 경우 접착력이 저하되는 것을 peel test를 통해 확인하고 적절한 첨가제의 선정 및 도입을 통해 접착력을 개선하는 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 통해서 maltodextrin의 첨가 시에 내습성에 대한 개선으로 인해 미끄럼 방지 접착력의 저하가 억제되었으며 10 wt% 도입 시에 최적의 성능을 나타내었다.

Triple-gate Tunnel FETs Encapsulated with an Epitaxial Layer for High Current Drivability

  • The triple-gate tunnel FETs encapsulated with an epitaxial layer (EL TFETs) is proposed to lower the subthreshold swing of the TFETs. Furthermore, the band-to-band tunneling based on the maximum electric-field can occur thanks to the epitaxial layer wrapping the Si fin. The performance and mechanism of the EL TFETs are compared with the previously proposed TFET based on simulation.

  • This paper presents experimental studies on investigating the seismic retrofit performance of reinforced concrete rectangular columns with poor lap-splice details using GFRP wrapping. Six columns have been tested. The GFRP retrofitted columns with same 7.5 mm thickness have two section shapes, i.e., rectangular and elliptical sections. The GFRP height was changed from 450 mm to 900 mm. The performance of GFRP retrofitted columns which have different shapes and height are verified.

시판 한국 전통음료제품의 품질에 대한 기대치와 만족도 비교(IPA) (Comparison of the Importance and Performance(IPA) of the Quality of Korean Traditional Commercial Beverages)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide useful information for establishing efficient marketing direction by investigating the performance (satisfaction) and importance for the quality of Korean traditional commercial beverages. The subjects were 320 participants (130 males and 190 females) in Daegu and Kyungpook. The importance and satisfaction score of Korean traditional commercial beverages were measured on a five-point Likert scale. The results are summarized as follows. The overall satisfaction score on Korean traditional commercial beverages was 2.96 points. The beverages with the highest satisfaction scores were 'green tea' (3.48 points) 'shickhae' (3.35 points) and 'rice tea' (3.34 points) whereas 'ppongip tea' (2.58 points) 'gugija tea' (2.63 points) and 'gukhwa tea' (2.64 points) scored lowly. From the analysis of the difference between importance and performance of Korean traditional commercial beverages, importance (3.11 points) was rated much higher than performance (3.66 points). In the IPA result, it was important to continuously maintain 'taste', 'hygiene', 'freshness', 'period of circulation', 'wrapping condition' etc. Some items such as 'nutrition', 'safety', 'health', and 'ingredient' did not need intensive care and operation.

Seismic performance and damage assessment of reinforced concrete bridge piers with lap-spliced longitudinal steels

  • It is known that lap splices in the longitudinal reinforcement of reinforced concrete (RC) bridge columns are not desirable for seismic performance, but it is sometimes unavoidable. Lap splices were practically located in the potential plastic hinge region of most bridge columns that were constructed before the 1992 seismic design provisions of the Korea Bridge Design Specification. The objective of this research is to evaluate the seismic performance of reinforced concrete (RC) bridge piers with lap splicing of longitudinal reinforcement in the plastic hinge region, to develop an enhancement scheme for their seismic capacity by retrofitting with glassfiber sheets, and to assess a damage of bridge columns subjected to seismic loadings for the development of rational seismic design provisions in low or moderate seismicity region. Nine (9) test specimens with an aspect ratio of 4 were made with three confinement ratios and three types of lap splice. Quasi-static tests were conducted in a displacement-controlled way under three different axial loads. A significant reduction of displacement ductility was observed for test columns with lap splices of longitudinal reinforcements, whose displacement ductility could be greatly improved by externally wrapping with glassfiber sheets in the plastic hinge region. A damage of the limited ductile specimen was assessed to be relatively small.

모노펄스 정확도를 위한 능동배열위상레이다의 근접전계 수신시험 표본 주파수 채널 선택에 대한 연구 (A Study on Sample Frequency Channel Selection of Near-Field Receiving Measurement for the Active Phased Array Antenna for Mono-Pulse Accuracy)

  • 능동위상배열안테나는 정밀한 빔의 형성과 성능 확인을 위해 근접전계 수신시험이 요구된다. 그에 따른 근접전계 수신시험을 통해 모노펄스 기능을 활용하기 위한 보상값을 획득하게 된다. 하지만, 많은 주파수 채널을 사용하는 레이다의 경우 많은 시간과 노력이 요구된다. 효율적인 레이다 개발과 생산을 위해서는 선택적으로 주파수 채널을 선정하고, 그 측정값을 기준으로 측정하지 않은 주파수 채널의 보상값을 보간법을 통해 예측하여 획득할 수 있다. 이와 같은 방법으로 보상값의 위상각 정보를 획득할 경우, 합, 차 채널간의 위상변화량을 확인할 필요성이 있다. 위상의 측정은 랩핑으로 인하여 비선형 현상이 나타날 수 있기 때문이다. 일반적인 레이다의 경우, 합, 차 채널의 전기적 길이가 유사하게 설계되지만, 특정 목적으로 전기적 길이 차이가 발생할 경우, 랩핑 현상으로 인해 보간법의 오류를 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 전기적 길이 차이에 의해 발생되는 보간법의 오류를 확인하고, 하나의 주파수 선택 방안을 제시한다.

복합재/AISI4340 이중구조 후육실린더의 구조적 거동 및 최적화 (Behavior and Optimization of Cylinder Applied by Composite Tape Wrapping Method)

  • 높은 내압을 받는 장축후육실린더의 성능향상을 위해 최근 그 길이가 길어짐에 따라 무게 또한 무시할 수 없는 변수로 떠오르게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문은 이러한 현상에 대처하기위한 대안으로 장축후육실린더의 무게를 줄이고 대신 복합재 테이프를 감아 무게감소와 더불어 벤딩 (bending)현상을 줄이기 위한 목적으로 복합재가 AISI4340 후육실린더에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 우선 크기가 감소된 AISI4340 후육실린더에 높은 내압을 받는 압력용기 등에 주로 사용되는 자긴가공(autofrettage) 공법을 모사한 후 T300/S208, IM7/PETI5, IM7/8552 테이프를 적용하여 각각의 복합재가 AISI4340 후육실린더에 감을 때 발생되는 응력분포를 살펴봄으로써 탄성계수 및 적층각에 따른 영향을 고찰하였다. 또한 복합재IAISI4340 이중구조 후육실린더의 적층각 도출을 위한 다양한 적층각 조합용 통해 적층각 도출을 위한 전초를 마련하였다. 본 논문을 위한 해석에는 MSC.Nastran/Patran v.2005가 사용되었다.

Experimental investigation of a frame retrofitted with carbon textile reinforced mortar

  • The research investigates experimentally the effect of confinement on structural behavior at the ends of beam-column in reinforced concrete (RC) frames. In the experimental study, five specimens consisting of 1/3-scaled RC frames having single-bay, representing the traditional deficiencies of existing buildings constructed without receiving proper engineering service is investigated. The RC frame specimens were produced to represent most of the existing buildings in Turkey that have damage potential. To decrease the probable damage to the existing buildings exposed to earthquakes, the carbon Textile Reinforced Mortar (TRM) strengthening technique (fully wrapping) was used on the ends of the RC frame elements to increase the energy dissipation and deformation capacity. The specimens were tested under reversed cyclic lateral loading with constant axial loads. They were constructed satisfying the weak column-strong beam condition and consisting of low-strength concrete, such as compressive strength of 15 MPa. The test results were compared and evaluated considering stiffness, strength, energy dissipation capacity, structural damping, ductility, and damage propagation in detail. Comprehensive investigations of these experimental results reveal that the strengthening of a brittle frame with fully-TRM wrapping with non-anchored was effective in increasing the stiffness, ductility, and energy dissipation capacities of RC bare frames. It was also observed that the frame-only-retrofitting with an infill wall is not enough to increase the ductility capacity. In this case, both the frame and infill wall must be retrofitted with TRM composite to increase the stiffness, lateral load carrying, ductility and energy dissipation capacities of RC frames. The presented strengthening method can be an alternative strengthening technique to enhance the seismic performance of existing or moderately damaged RC buildings.
