With advancement of computer and network, world wide web(WWW) as a medium of information communication is generalized in many fields. In educational aspect, applications of WWW as alternative media for class teachings or printed matters are increasing. In this article, we demonstrate a web-based electronic text on the 'probability and statistics' which is one of six fields of mathematics in the 7th curriculum. This text places importance on comprehension of concepts of probability and statistics as an applied science.

대기오염의 현황을 인지하고 현실적인 관리를 하기 위해서는 대기오염 물질의 배출량을 산정하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 이를 통해 대기오염 모델의 입력자료, 주요 배출원의 파악 및 기여정도를 평가할 수 있으며, 대기관리정책의 수립 및 평가의 기초자료로 사용될 수 있다. 미국 Aerometric Information Retrieval System(AIRS)과 유럽 CORINAIR(EU 내에서 data 호환을 위한 규약)의 경우에는 대기오염물질 배출량 정보를 WWW(World Wide Web：이하 WWW) 상에서 공개함으로써 배출량 연구의 공유와 표준화가 이루어져 있다. As use of internet generalized laying stress on WWW(World Wide Web) service of multimedia based recently, we could acquire many informations that exist to all over the world's computer network. It is risen to important problem that use of internet acquires correct information rapidly on modem society which is generalized. This paper designed internet search engine and understand structure of that drawing URL which is optimized, and secure embodiment technology using OOPL(Object-Oriented Programming Language). Also, compare with existent domestic manufacture search engines and system that propose showed that the bad link rate is improved in this paper.

WWW(World Wide Web)이 인터넷 사용영역의 대부분을 차지하면서 웹을 이용한 전자상거래가 인터넷의 새로운 활동영역으로 등장하였다. 이와 함께 마케팅 차원에서 웹 사용자들에 대한 신상정보와 개인성향에 대한 정보를 요구하는 사이트가 증가하고 있고, 이로 인해 점차 웹 사용에 대한 개인 프라이버시 보호와 익명성 제공에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 하지만 현재의 HTTP 혹은 WWW의 구조는 부가적인 메커니즘이 없이 개인의 프라이버시 보호나 익명성 같은 서비스를 거의 제공해주지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 WWW에서 프라이버시 보호와 익명성을 제공하기 위한 기법들을 살펴본다.

World Wide Web(WWW) 데이터가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있는 시점에서, WWW의 데이터로부터 유용한 정보를 찾아내고 분석하는 일이 필요해졌다. 또한 WWW의 데이터만으로는 얻을 수 없는 기업의 의사결정을 위한 정보를 얻기 위해, 웹 페이지 접근 기록에서 얻어진 웹 로그기록들과 기업의 판매 트랜잭션 데이터베이스, 광고 데이터베이스 그리고 고객 정보를 통합하여 데이터 웨어하우스를 구축한다. 이러한 과정은 기업활동의 결과로 축적된 데이터 자원과 WWW의 데이터를 통합하여 체계적인 정보기반을 구축하고, 이러한 자원을 전략적으로 재활용하는 것이 목적이다. 본 논문에서는 WWW의 데이터와 기업의 데이터베이스를 통합하여 웨어하우스를 설계하고 여기에 데이터마이닝, OLAP을 적용하여 CRM에 활용하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

The usability of the Internet including WWW (World Wide Web) is dramatically growing in current business environment. These allow decision makers to enhance the productivity of decision making by referring valuable information in the remote sites, This paper presents the possibilities how WWW can be applied to build distributed and collaborative DSS, especially model management subsystem. A framework of Internet-based DSS is delineated, and then an idea of representing and managing models in the Internet-based DSS is suggested.

WWW(World Wide Web)의 비약적인 성장과 더불어 각종 인터넷 서비스 공급자(ISP, Internet Service Provider)의 기능과 역학이 크게 부각되고 있다. WWW을 인터페이스로 사용하는 대화형 지능시스템은 사용자와 대화를 통하여 보다 정확히 사용자의 요구를 인식할 수 있으며, 특히 전문가시스템은 사용자에게 일선의 전문기와 같은 양질의 정보를 공급할 수 있다. 본 연구는 WWW를 사용자 인터페이스로 사용하는 기존의 지능시스템이 가지고 있는 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 개발 환경에 독립되고, 클라이언트의 부담을 최소로 하며, 텍스트 기반의 통신을 지원하는 대화형 지능시스템 사용자 인터페이스를 제안한다.

In this paper, we implement a content based image retrieval system for image searching by visual features from the image databases on WWW (world wide web). The image retrieval system finds the images that contain the most similar color regions after the system automatically extracts color features from the input image. We can select one of two query methods which use a full image of $4{\times}4$ 16 sketched color region. The image similarity is calculated on the histogram intersection distance and the histogram Euclidean distance. As the experimental results show that the two different query types provide the precision/recall 0.84/0.92 and 0.85/0.93 respectively, this retrieval system has been able to obtain high performance and validity.

In this paper, we describe a new trademark retrieval system based upon the content or the shape of trademark. The system has an on-line graphical user interface for the World Wide Web (WWW) that allows user to provide a query in forms of a sketch or a visual image to search for similar trademarks from database. User interfaces for the WWW were implemented by utilizing HTML and Java applets. The query can occur in arbitrary size and orientation. A shape representation scheme invariant to scale and rotation was developed to measure the similarity between two trademarks using the magnitude of Zernike moments as a feature set. Performance evaluation has been carried out with a database of 3,000 trademarks. It takes only about 0.6 second for the retrieval on a 200 MHz Pentium PC. The average recall of the original one among top 30 candidates queried by noisy or deformed images was 100%.
