인터넷 기반의 World Wide Web(WWW)은 여러 가지 측면에서 유용한 특성을 가지고 있다. 사용의 편리함, 멀티미디어 데이터 지원, Interactive한 사용자 인터페이스 등이 그 대표적인 예이다. 이러한 이유로 WWW은 급속한 성장을 이루었고 거의 모든 분야에 적용될 정도로 확산되어 있는 실정이다. 그러나 WWW은 위와 같은 장점들에도 불구하고 인터넷이 지니고 있는 보안상의 취약점을 그대로 포함하고 있다는 단점을 지니고 있다. 이는 WWW 상에서 전송되는 데이터가 불법적인 접근에 쉽게 노출될 수 있는 형태 그대로 전송되기 때문이다. 이러한 문제점을 근본적으로 해결 할 수 있는 방법은 전송되는 데이터의 암호화로써 불법적인 데이터 접근을 시도하려는 사용자로부터 데이터를 보호 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 공개 키 암호 방식에 기초하고 있는 PGP(Pretty Good Privacy) 툴을 이용하여 WWW 상으로 전송되는 데이터의 암호화 및 인증 메커니즘을 제공하고자 한다. PGP보안 툴의 삽입을 위해 Plug-in 이라는 Web 브라우저 확장 기법을 사용한다.

This paper reviews how to access the ergonomic information through internet-the world-wide computer networks. Recently, with the growth of hypertext type Internet-the WWW (World-Wide Web), it becomes much easier to access to the Internet and we can retrieve information very effeciently. In order to search the ergonomic information, this paper also reviews the famous Web search engines like Lycos, Web Crawler, and meta-indices like YAHOO. Also, useful Web-sites of ergonomics/human factors such as ErgoWeb are summarised.

As the use of world wide web is increasing, the number of connections to servers is increasing also. These interactions increase the load of networks and servers. therefore efficient caching strategies for web documents are needed to reduce server load and network traffics by migrating copies of server files closer to the clients that use those files. As One idea of caching policy, we propose a Weighted Disk Cache Replacement Policy(WDCRP) which analyses user's interaction to WWW and adds weight value to each web document. Especially the WDCRP takes account of the history data of cache log, the characteristics of Web requests and the importance of user interactive-actions.

최근 들어 WWW(World Wide Web) 환경을 이용한 각종 Entertainment 산업이 활성화되어 있다. WWW상의 실시간 아바타 애니메이션의 구현은 WWW를 이용한 Entertainment 산업 및 가상현실을 위한 중요한 원천기술 역할을 하리라 기대된다. 특히, 모션캡쳐를 통해 얻어진 모션데이터로 아바타의 애니메이션을 구현함으로써 보다 자연스러운 동작을 기대할 수 있다. 한편 일반적인 모션데이터로 Euler Angle로 나타나는데 반하여 VRML 환경하의 아바타에는 Euler Angle을 적용할 수 없다. 이는 VRML의 특성상 현재의 상태(State)를 저장할 수 없기 때문이다. VRML 환경하의 아바타에 적용 가능한 유일한 모션데이터 방식은 특정 축(Axis)과 이 축을 중심으로 한 회전각(Axis Angle)을 이용하는 것이다. 본 연구진은 이를 위하여 일반적인 모션데이터에 나타나는 Euler Angle을 특정 Axis와 Axis Angle로 변환해 주는 이론 및 모션데이터를 실시간으로 공급해주기 위한 JAVA Streaming Server를 직접 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 이 시스템의 전체적인 구조를 설명하고자 한다.

The cost of simulation modeling, the expertise required, and the pains of starting a new each time are impediments to more wide spread adoption of simulation technology. In addition, one of the most critical problems in the field of computer simulation today is the lack of published models and physical objects within the World Wide Web (WWW) allowing such distribution. From the viewpoint of WWW as distributed model repositories, it can be assumed that very many simulation models exist on the web. This paper is based on the premise that WWW is a distributed repository. Design Pattern, web-oriented technology like Java and CORBA, which are especially to cope with distributed objects, are introduced and discussed in detail for integration of simulation model. In this paper an architecture of model integration is proposed, which presents the whole procedure of model integration and how the Internet technologies are connected in. The central focus of this research is on the technical realization of integrating simulation models as distributed objects

We developed a Part Information Brokering System, namely PIBS, that can inter-link part suppliers and buyers using WWW(World Wide Web). The major contribution of this paper is that the system provides a 3D collaboration environment that enables multiple users to share the same workspace where they cooperatively manipulate part features in real time. PIBS carries out two major functions: one to maintain part data in a part library, and the other to provide the means for the clients to cooperate. An object-oriented database is used for the part library which stores apart information registered by part suppliers. VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language) the ISO standard for 3D visualization on WWW, is used to represent 3D part models. Several Java programs have been implemented to support synchronous and a synchronous communication of the 3D models. Once the users are interconnected through the system, a user's manipulation of part objects is transparently and instantaneously transmitted to the others. This means that all the participants can are the same view and movement of the 3D part models. Since the system is developed using a Java applet-server architecture, it requires no additional software other than standard web browser. The prototype system has been successfully implemented, and demonstrated its applicability to virtual 3D part information sharing.

In this paper, we develope a intelligent monitoring system of Coastal Ocean Environment based on WWW(World Wide Web) and PCS(Personal Communication System). This system have capability of real time processing of enviromental variable from various sensors. The system is composed of three part. The first part is mathematical modeling of real ocean. The second is construction server for real time web page. And the third is developing the measurement system which has wireless(PCS) interface to server.

인쇄물의 색인과 초록은 통제어나 시소러스를 이용하여 합의된 방식으로 작성되지만, 웹 정보자원의 색인과 초록은 인간의 작업을 거치지 않고 자동으로 작성된다. 웹 환경에서의 색인과 초록은 인쇄물의 색인${\cdot}$초록과 비교하여 어떠한 과정을 거치며, 어떠한 요소들을 포함하는가에 대한 연구는 매우 의미 있는 일이라고 본다. 본 연구에서는 휑 정보자원의 수집, 색인 저장, 검색의 과정을 살펴보았고, 6개의 웹 검색 엔진을 통하여 색인과 초록작성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 17개의 색인 요소와 11개의 초록 요소 그리고 2개의 메타 요소를 조사하였다. 전반적인 웹 정보자원의 색인과 초록에 대한 경향과 전망에 대해서도 살펴보았다.
