In this letter, we propose a novel algorithm to predict MPEG-coded real-time variable bit rate (VBR) video traffic. From the frame size measurement, the algorithm extracts the statistical property of video traffic and utilizes it for the prediction of the next frame for I-, P-, and B- frames. The simulation results conducted with real-world MPEG-4 VBR video traces show that the proposed algorithm is capable of providing more accurate prediction than those in the research literature.

This study focuses on the criteria for lessons that develop secondary students' creativity and character in mathematics classes. Literature used in this study is related to the future direction of education (e.g., Core competencies, Information and Communication Technology, Constructivism education) and intent of the revised mathematics curriculum. Lesson criteria for developing students' creativity and character include educational content associated with the real-world contexts, use of tools and resources, active participation and interaction, problem-solving skills, teachers' attitudes, and the classroom environment. This study suggests ways to implement mathematics lessons that build students' creativity and character.

Purpose: The purpose of this article was to describe feminism and to propose the integration of a feminist method into qualitative nursing methodology in order to expand the body of nursing knowledge. Method: The world view of feminism including philosophy, epistemology and methodology was outlined, and a feminist grounded theory and feminist ethnography were suggested as a way of strengthening nursing research methodology using literature review. Results: Four different philosophical perspectives of feminism, that is, liberal feminism, radical feminism, Marxist feminism, and social feminism were described. Also epistemological perspectives including feminist empiricism, feminist standpoint, and postmodem feminism, were explained and were related to the methodology and methods of feminism. To enhance the strengths of nursing research within the feminist perspectives, feminist grounded theory and feminist ethnography were exemplified in the paradigm of qualitative nursing research. Conclusion: This paper suggested that incorporation of feminist approaches within nursing is a valuable attempt to expand the body of nursing knowledge and to enhance the quality of nursing care services by rectifying male-oriented knowledge and by empowering women in the care of other people as well as themselves.

EDI is fast becoming the standard way of exchanging business documents, not only in this country but throughout the world. The purpose of EDI is currently being used for all the most common business transactions such as purchase orders, invoice, quotes, bill of lading, status reports, receiving advices; and also for some very specific transaction. Thus, the purpose of this study, by way of literature survey and survey research are to find the effectiveness in EDI Service of Clearance Physical. The model of the Trust Dimension and EDI Provider Loyalty in EDI Service of Clearance Physical is tested here using data from 163 samples. Based on the research model, a comprehensive set of hypotheses is formulated and a methodology for testing them is outlined. some of the hypotheses are tested empirically to demonstrate the applicability of the theoretical model. In examining the relationships of the Clearance EDI determinants factors, Trust and e-loyalty show in significantly by customs practice trust, clearance EDI, EDI provider trust and clearance EDI loyalty. but that show in not significantly by a list of names, EDI benevolence.

This paper is to study the tendency of the development of the urban comprehensive park in the modern history of China, and take the urban comprehensive park of Wuhan as an example to study the local research through the literature.. A marginal zone B-cell lymphoma is a type of B-cell lymphoma which is normally located at the margins of the secondary lymph node follicles. According to 2008 World Health Organization (WHO) classification, there are three main types classified according to the location of invasion: nodal lymphoma in the lymph nodes, splenic lymphoma in the spleen, and extranodal lymphoma in other locations. Recently, we have experienced a rare case of primary nodal marginal zone lymphoma that arose in the lower eyelid. Therefore, we report this case with a review of literature.

Today, interest in soundscape idea is growing according to recognize the surrounding sounds as design target and to introduce them into environmental spaces positively. The word "soundscape" proposed by Canadian composer R. Murray Schafer is now very popular in the world. So various soundscape designs based on soundscape idea are carried on worldwide for acoustic ecology. Also in Korea, several researchers are carrying on studies about the soundscape, but basic concepts behind soundscape design are insufficiently defined and studied. In that sense, this study aims to review and to arrange the concept of soundscape Idea and soundscape desgn systematically. Through investigation of literature concerning soundscape study, the backgrounds and characteristics about soundscape idea were reviewed and concepts of soundscape design were arranged.

The taxonomic research based on extensive investigations and specimen collections throughout all varieties of freshwater and marine habitats of Chinese waters, including mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, which involved accounting the vast number of collected specimens, data and literature (both within and outside China) were carried out over the last 40 years. There are totally 361 recorded species of gobioid fishes belonging to 113 genera, 5 subfamilies, and 9 families. This gobioid fauna of China comprises 16.2% of 2211 known living gobioid species of the world. This report represents a summary of previous researches on the suborder Gobioidei. A recently diagnosed subfamily, Polyspondylogobiinae, were assigned from the type genus and type species: Polyspondylogobius sinensis Kimura & Wu, 1994 which collected around the Pearl River Delta with high extremity of vertebral count up to 52-54. The undated comprehensive checklist of gobioid fishes in China will be provided in this paper.

In face examinations, gender classification (GC) is one of several fundamental tasks. Recent literature on GC primarily utilizes datasets containing high-resolution images of faces captured in uncontrolled real-world settings. In contrast, there have been few efforts that focus on utilizing low-resolution images of faces in GC. We propose a GC method based on a pixel classifier boosting with modified census transform features. Experiments are conducted using large datasets, such as Labeled Faces in the Wild and The Images of Groups, and standard protocols of GC communities. Experimental results show that, despite using low-resolution facial images that have a 15-pixel inter-ocular distance, the proposed method records a higher classification rate compared to current state-of-the-art GC algorithms.

This study discusses the traditional main life culture of Korea and the relations with the traditional manners of Korean culture. According to studies of literature and an analysis, it shows the traditional courtesy can be linked to the housing structure of the Cho-sun dynasty which can be termed as a representation of traditional Korean society. Housing culture of Cho-sun dynasty led to a most characteristic living culture. To be specific sit-down culture use norms, hierarchy and fittings can be sited. The sit-down culture in turn led to the main courtesies of greeting, table manners, etiquette for entrance and exit, the carefulness shown to elders, the self-restraint of speech and action and the manners between men and women, But in today's world there are realistic difficulties that make the application of these norms in everyday life difficult. But at the same time we must realize that there are traditional norms which overcome time and which affect today's norms.
