Korea is constructing geospatial information application system for geospatial information utilization, but it is trying to establish a system for joint use of geospatial information system centering on Ministry of Land Transport and Transport due to the problem of sharing. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the geospatial information application system operated by local governments, and to suggest the application of geospatial information application system using unmanned aerial images. As a result of the research, it was found that the functions of existing spatial information application system are concentrated on the public services and it is difficult to share and utilize data between administrative departments. In addition, the utilization of the system using unmanned aerial image has been suggested, and additional functions such as vector display, area calculation, and report generation have been derived to improve the usability of geospatial information application system. If additional functions of spatial information application system are added through further studies in the future, it will be possible to use it as a basic data of field survey and policy decision in related fields. And non-experts will be able to improve the efficiency of work by utilizing highly accurate geospatial information in various fields.
The goal for the improvement of rice culture in our country is to increase the rice yield per unit area, and that thoroughly, to equalize the rice yield per unit are highly by adaptation of high technique, while on the side of the efficiency, to increase the productivity of the labour through the cooperative work. And then, the theory for execution of the cooperative rice culture which is the productive system embodying the goal above and the expected effects as well as the future prospect for the development of the cooperative rice culture must be studied and defined. The results studied up to now are summarized as follows: 1. The cooperative rice culture is one of the most effective ways to execute highly efficient farm management and to supply the technical details on the cultivation for equalized high yield per unit area in the rice cultivating districts. 2. For the most effective accomplishment of the cooperative rice culture, the water control, and soil and variety of rice must be investigated in advance an then the basic technical details for the rice culture must be defined. 3. The rice cultivation calender is drawn up with the main technical details of rice culture by the mutual agreement of all farmers belong to the cooperative farm. All technical details for the rice cultivation in the cooperative farm are standardized by the rice cultivation calendar and the main technical operations should be worked together and the other operations executed individually. 4. The technique for rice cultivation, which was difficult to be introduced in the individual farm management, could be introduced easily to the cooperative rice culture, and the rice yield of the cooperative farm was increased 23.3% compared to that of common farm in 1968. 5. At present, the type of the cooperative rice culture is a primary type of the agreement for farm management, rarely including the associated operation type and the contracted operation type for a part of operation, However, for stabilized high yield through the mechanization of the cultivation system, the cooperative farm must be developed for a course promoting the associated operation type including the technique trust type and the contracted operation type according to the condition of location.

The purpose of this study is to provide successive online community operational model in response to the world wide open access movement which supports the broadest possible access to published research and other scholarly writings. This study is divided into four areas in a large. First, this study reviewed general community, online community and open access movement. Second, wellknown online scholarly community, i.e., KISTI Society, BRIC, DSpace were analyzed precisely focusing on the administrative and functional factors to find key to success. Third, based on the above two studies, major functions of community services were identified. For this work, community service functions and participation will were asked to the researchers registered in Korea Research Foundation. According to the results of the above works, this study presents the important functions of online community services as follows: management function of research results, posting function of issue reports, and provision function of integrated information on research proposal should be provided preferentially to researchers aged 30s and 40s.
This study was examined 718 workers who had consistent blood pressure results in 2001 and 2002 general health examinations that were held at a work places managed by a health care agency in Seoul. Significant results are found as follows by analysing SPSS 11.0 on the result of self-recorded questionnaires investigated from Mar 1, 2003 to April 30, 2003. 1. A sampled healthy group and a sampled unhealthy group had significant differences in four variables out of possible nineteens that are sex, age, marriage and occupation. The unhealthy group had more males than females, more aged (over 50 years old) than youngers (under 50 years old), more married than singles, more manufacturing workers than non-manufacturing workers. In the case of systolic blood pressure, as the healthy group had 16.52mmHg while that of the other group had 149. 58mmHg, 33.06mmHg of difference between those groups were detected. In the case of diastolic blood pressure, 74.93mmHg of the healthy group and 96.53mmHg of the unhealthy group yielded 21.60mmHg of difference between them. This result implies that a guidance of health care is required to be aware of 20-30mmHg volatility in blood pressure rate or to understand and treat properly own blood pressure. as it is difficult to detect hypertension in early stage due to no initial symptom. According to the result. an establishment of management system of workers, companies and health care agencies is required for consist health care. 2. In terms of risky habits to health, the unhealthy group had more proportion of past smokers, over-twice-a-week drinkers, people with higher obesity rate. However, in terms of excercise, the proportion of regularly exercising people is higher in the unhealthy group while that of non-exercising people is higher in the healthy group. On the other hand. the average grade of health practicing behaviour in two groups are not significantly different as the health group had 3.00 out of possible 6.00 while the other had 3.10. This result means that as workers are not interested in health practicing behaviour. health promoting programmes must be developed in such a way of various method of motivations and incentives. Particularly this implies that distortional objectives of exercises should be readjusted through health guidance. 3. Systolic blood pressure in the healthy group can be explained by sex and the obesity rate while that in the unhealthy group can be explained by subjective health awareness and the obesity. Diastolic blood pressure in the healthy group can be explained by sex and the obesity rate like the former. The obesity rate was significant variable affecting the blood pressure of both groups, and particularly the effect to the unhealthy group was remarkably higher than that to the healthy group. Therefore, this research identified that the health care on the blood pressure of workers is not only limited to hypertension patients, but also extended to all workers. In order for consistent care, an establishment of management system of workers, companies and health care agencies is required.

This study aims to provide policy suggestions on how to implement the process of empowerment, by investigating the conditions that hinder the process and the attitude of the KBS employees. For the cross-sectional study, this thesis examined the domestic and international references, conducted a survey of KBS employees, personal interviews and made direct observations. Approximately 1,200 copies of the questionnaire were distributed and 474 were completed and returned. The analysis used SPSS 12.0 software to process the data collected from 460 respondents. The survey findings showed a decrease of 24.2%p in the number of responses expressing negative views of the team structure and a decrease of 1.29%p in the number of positive responses. The findings indicated a positive transformation illustrating employees' improved understanding and approval of the team structure. However, KBS must address the issue on an ongoing basis. It has been proven that the employee empowerment increases the productivity of the individual and the group. In order to boost the level of empowerment, the management must exercise new, innovative leadership and build trust between the managers and the employees first. Additional workload as a result of shirking at work places was prevalent throughout all divisions and ranks, according to the survey data. This outcome leads to the conclusion that the workload is not evenly distributed or shared. And the data also showed the employees do not trust the assessment and rewards system. More attention and consideration must be paid to the team size and job allocation in order to address this matter; the present assessment and rewards system need to be complemented. The type of leadership varies depending on the characteristics of the organization's structure and employees' disposition. KBS must develop and reform its own management, leadership style to suit the characteristics of individual teams. Finally, for a soft-landing of KBS team structure, in-house training and education are necessary.
Many organizations have been recognizing the necessity of workflow automation technologies according to the rapid expansion of business process oriented applications, such as enterprise resource pianning, customer relationship management, electronic approval management, and so on, Thus, they have started adopting workflow management systems as an essential technological solution for their workflow processes, However, we need some technological extensions and improvements on them in order to accommodate a new type of workflow processes, which is called cross-organizational global workflow processes that require a certain level of collaborations between the organizations engaged in the global workflow processes, Fragment-driven workflow modeling methodology is a Bottom-Up methodology composing a global workflow by defining each organization's own activities, which is called a fragment through a realtime cooperative system. The approach is able to not only simplify the modeling work but also keep each organization's independence in modeling a global workflow, In this paper, we describe the fragment-driven workflow modeling methodology and realize the methodology through the implementation of a cooperative swimlane workflow modeling system.
The purpose of this study was to test the structural relationships among the related variables of university students' satisfaction. This study utilized nation-wide survey data previously collected from 1400 students distributed across 32 universities in Korea. NCSI model was used as a theoretical framework. Using the AMOS 17.0, the structural relationships among six variables were tested, including students' expectancy level, perceived quality, perceived value, satisfaction, complaint rate, and loyalty. The major findings of the study are as follows: First, students' expectancy level had a positive effect on perceived quality; but had no significant effect either on perceived value or on satisfaction. Second, perceived quality had positive effects on perceived value and satisfaction; and perceived value also had a positive effect on satisfaction. Third, students' satisfaction had a negative effect on complaint rate; but had a positive effect on loyalty. Fourth, students' complaint rate had a negative effect on loyalty. The study results imply that among the related variables of students' satisfaction, perceived quality and value of the products work as critical variables, and complaint rate and loyalty directly relate to students' satisfaction. The study suggested that in order to enhance students' satisfaction, universities employ the total quality system and the students' complaints resolution system.

Conceptual cost estimates for domestic highway projects have generally been conducted using governmental unit-price references. Inaccuracies in governmental unit-price data has repeatedly addressed in the Korean construction industry which often lead to poor decision making and cost management practices. Thus, needs for developing a better way of conceptual cost estimating has been widely recognized. This research is considered as the first step in developing such model using real-world cost data based on actual construction activities. The data analyzed in this paper includes 41 P.S.C (Prestressed Concrete) Box bridges which broke into 4 categories based on construction methods such as I.L.M(Incremental Launching Method), M.S.S(Movable Scaffolding System), F.S.M(Full Staging Method), and F.C.M(Free Cantilever Method). Actual design documents; including actual cost estimating documents, drawings and specifications were carefully reviewed to effectively break down cost structures for PSC girder bridges. Among more than 40 cost categories for each P.S.C girder bridge type, 7 of them were identified which accounted for more than 95% of total construction cost (ILM: 99.47%, MSS: 99.22%, FSM: 98.18%, and FCM: 98.12%). In order to validate the clustering of cost categories, the variation of each cost category has been investigated which resulted in between -1.16 % and 0.59%.

The construction phase of the construction project needs a large scale of manpower, materials and equipment. Among them, manpower is a core part for project construction. These manpower are divided into two groups. The first is the management group that manages the construction, and the second is the site technician manpower for construction work. Recently, construction company has suffering due to the insufficient supply of technician labor. Accordingly, this study will perform an empirical analysis about the construction technician. To do this, we surveyed related research trends and conducted surveys on the satisfaction of the construction technician. The result, satisfaction with pay and insurance was relatively low compared to other items. Therefore, this study were conducted in-depth interviews with technician managers in order to analyze the cause. In addition, case analysis was conducted to analyze actual working conditions. As a result, it was analyzed that the wage level and insurance system of construction technician were considerably stable compared to the manufacturing industry. The result of this study is expected to contribute to the activation of excellent technician cultivation through the change of recognition about construction technician.

The purpose of this study is to suggest successful strategies through which the effect of the information system of a hospital can be forecasted at the nursing department. In order to set up successful strategies, in the first place, both the methods of CSF(Critical Success Factor: Rockart, 1979) and ULD(User-Led Development) method and the method suggested by the Korea Productivity Center were applied. In order to measure the improvement of nursing productivity, the Dissonance theory was used. The data were collected from 100 employees serving at the clinic department of Kwangju Patriots' and Veterans' Hospital from July 4 to July 25, 1998 with reference to all 222 cases, for sampling work; then the part of the efficiency of the treatment or management of hospital business - simplification of the process of the treatment of hospital business and reduction of the time of the treatment of hospital business were measured; and in order to forecast organizational behavior, 100 cases of organization behavior were analysed, based on the well structured, questionnaires. In order to forecast the user's organizational behavior, a tool(Ronald. 1988; Stephen, 1982: Senn, 1992: Olsen, 1980: Anderson, 1988: Kim. 1992: Cho. 1994) to measure the extent or degree of the user's recognition or understanding whose reliability coefficient is 0.63 was used: and regarding the items expected by the users concerning the convenience of the system, a tool created by Bernadett, Szajna and Richard W. Scamell(1993) whose reliability coefficient is 0.88 was used. And finally, those data were analysed, utilizing the statistical package of SPSS/PC 6.0. successful strategies are suggested as follows: 1. In order that the Kwangju Patriots' and Veterans' Hospital's purpose can be successful through its strategic, information system, the quality of its services should be elevated. and for elevating the quality of medical services, elevation of the quality of medical expertism or specialty is an important factor in determining such quality. 2. In order to make the hospital information system to be successful, the hospital's top manager should participate in the effort making it successful with helping hands of the members or personnel of the hospital. 3. In order to make users participate in the hospital information system, it is prerequisite that all nurses in a hospital should voluntarily participate in the system 4. In order to reduce the expense, the time in coping with business per duty should be reduced by 10${\sim}$33.23%. The time of the direct nursing care which added value is relatively high should be elongated in order to elevate the quality of hospital services. 5. Since the introduction and spread of the hospital information system are influenced by the duration in the experience of computer use, the user of the hospital information system should have a plan to receive well-planned computer education. Finally it is suggested that the forecast of long-term productivity through a review of the user's expectation of the system should be inspected and tested through continuous studies of its effectiveness.
