Teachers are facing various job demands with psychosocial aspects being fundamental due to the nature of the occupation. Although teachers' work is associated with different psychosocial health risks, little is known on how to identify and tackle those. Thus, a systematic literature search as per the PRISMA statement was conducted via MEDLINE (PubMed), PSYNDEX (PubPsych), and ScienceDirect. Two reviewers independently screened 2261 titles and abstracts and 169 full-texts. According to the inclusion criteria established a priori, articles from peer-reviewed journals (English or German) on psychosocial risk management in teachers were incorporated. Despite a comprehensive and sensitive search, only four publications could be identified, outlining a process to implement risk management and different assessment tools. Taken together, data presented in the articles were scarce. Recommendations for process steps and the assessment of psychosocial risks can be derived from the findings. To implement effective psychosocial risk management in the teaching profession, further research is needed, though. Effective and practicable approaches, which are accepted by the target group, should be further developed and investigated. Relevant causes of occupational strain in the teaching profession must be identified and assessed reliably. Low-threshold interventions should be implemented, and the outcome must be evaluated afterward.
The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction of dental hygiene students receiving dental hygiene education with their major, their view of profession and the correlation between their satisfaction with major and view of profession in an attempt to provide some information on how to teach students to accept the occupation of dental hygienist as a profession. 1. As for satisfaction with major, the dental hygiene students were most satisfied with awareness of dental hygienist, and they were least satisfied with courses. 2. The major satisfaction score was 3.51. The students whose academic standing was higher and who wanted to work in a general hospital or university hospital expressed more satisfaction with their major(p<0.01, p<0.05). 3. Concerning view of profession, they placed the most significance on the independence of dental hygiene, and put the least value on social awareness. 4. The view of profession score was 3.48. The students whose academic standing was higher regarded the job of dental hygienist as a profession(p<0.05). 5. As to the relationship between satisfaction with major and view of profession, those who were more satisfied with their major gave more weight to the job of dental hygienist as a profession(p<0.001).

Emerged integrated factors were: Sharing values of the profession in education, Striving to overcome the peripheral perception, Lack of understanding about the profession, Inadequate conditions, Shared work values, Social changes, Perception about users, Organizational culture of library, Human relations in organization, Continuing education and exchange, Seeking the professional, Strategies for work, Strategies for human relations, Strategies for surviving slump and crisis, Strategies for enhancing oneself, Coping strategies for lack of understanding, Self congruence with the profession, Non-self congruence with the profession.
This study was conducted to examine the relationship between pre-service early childhood teacher's motivations of choosing a teaching profession, educational belief, and self-directed learning readiness. The sample included 308 early childhood education major students, and the data were collected using the Modified Orientation to Teach Survey (MOTS), Teaching-belief type scale, and self-directed learning readiness scale. A statistical analysis included correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows: 1) analysis of the relationship between pre-service early childhood teacher's motivations of choosing a teaching profession, educational belief, and self-directed learning readiness conveys that intellectual stimulation and self-directed learning had the strongest relationships while nature of work had the weakest. For educational belief and self-directed learning readiness, maturationism and interactionism showed significantly positive correlations while behaviorism displayed a negative correlation. Behaviorism had a significantly negative correlation with openness for challenge, a sub-factor of self-directed learning. 2) Analysis of the effect of pre-service early childhood teacher's motivations of choosing a teaching profession and educational belief on self-directed learning readiness indicates that pre-service early childhood teacher's motivations of choosing a teaching profession had a stronger effect on self-directed learning. These results suggest the following: successful performance as an early childhood teacher not only requires receiving institutionalized education but also self-directed learning while working as an early childhood teacher.

This descriptive survey was conducted to explore the effects of work engagement and its associated factors among general hospital nurses. Nurses working in general hospitals were recruited in D city and K region. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlations, and stepwise multiple regression using IBM SPSS 25. The mean score of work engagement of the subjects was 3.08. The mean scores of emotional modulation effects in profession, patient focused emotional suppression, and emotional pretense by norms which are subgroups of emotional labor by norms were 3.82, 3.28, and 3.22, respectively, while that of the nursing work environment was 2.59. Work engagement was significantly positively correlated with emotional modulation effects in profession (r=0.30, p=0.001), patient-focused emotional suppression (r=0.20, p=0.030), and nursing work environment (r=0.21, p=0.024). The results showed that the factors that affect the work engagement were age, current position, and emotional modulation effects in profession, which explained 20% of the variance in work engagement (F=10.37, p<0.001). Therefore, to establish strategies for improving the level of work engagement, it is necessary to consider age and current positions of nurses and to develop a nursing intervention program to strengthen emotional modulation effects among general hospital nurses.

The subjects included employees at 426 school foodservices in Busan. The mean job engagement was significantly different in the reason that cooks chose this profession(p<0.05), and readiness to quit(p<0.001). The mean job stress was significantly different in different age groups(p<0.01), cooking certification(p<0.01), reason that cooks chose this profession(p<0.01), and readiness to quit(p<0.05). The mean job stress was significantly different in the reason cooks chose this profession(p<0.01), and readiness to quit(p<0.05). In terms of the level of satisfaction of coworkers, the subfactor of job burnout, 'self-confidence' and 'achievement' had positive influences (p<0.01) and for the level of satisfaction of the work, it had positive influences on 'achievement'(p<0.01) and negative influences on 'exhaustion' (p<0.01). In terms of the level of satisfaction of co-workers and work, the subfactor of job engagement, 'absorption' had positive influences(p<0.01). Among the level of job satisfaction, for the level of satisfaction of pay, the subfactor of job stress, 'unstable job' had negative influences(p<0.01) and 'role conflict' had positive influences(p<0.05). For the level of satisfaction of co-workers, the subfactor of job stress, 'role conflict' had negative influences(p<0.01), and for the level of satisfaction of work, 'inappropriate circumstance' and 'unstable job' had negative influences (p<0.01).
Purpose : This study aims to assess the extent of work value, psychological ownership, the nursing work environment, and retention intention, examine the correlation between these variables, and identify the factors that influence retention intention. The goal is to provide foundational data to enhance retention intention. Method : The study involved 159 nurses employed at a tertiary general hospital and a general hospital. Data were gathered through structured questionnaires and analyzed using an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis with a simultaneous stepwise method, all conducted using the SPSS 26.0 software. Results : The intention to remain in the profession was found to have a positive correlation with work value (r = .45, p < .001), psychological ownership (r = .37, p < .001), and the nursing work environment (r = .27, p = .001). Significant factors influencing the intention to stay included total clinical career (𝛽 = .17, p = .016), work value (𝛽 = .38, p < .001), and psychological ownership (𝛽 = .19, p = .020). These variables accounted for 24.1% of the variance in the intention to remain in the profession (F = 17.71, p < .001). Conclusion: To enhance the intention of hospital staff to remain in their positions, it is crucial to identify and bolster positive psychological competencies, such as a sense of work value and psychological ownership.
