에어컨에서 직렬아크검출 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Detection Algorithm of Series Arc Signals in Air Conditioners)

  • This paper describes a series arc detection algorithm in a low-voltage wiring system. We designed and fabricated an arc detection circuit which consists of a high-pass filter with the low cut-off frequency of 170 kHz to attenuate power frequency. The series arcing phenomena was simulated by an arc generator specified in UL1699. In the experiment, various loads such as resistive loads, resistive loads controlled by a dimmer, and vacuum cleaners were used. Whether the signal is arc or noise is discriminated by pulse counts and periodicity of the detected signal.

  • To meet the demand increasing passengers in railway vehicles, railway transportation service companies are increasing the numbers of cars per train-set. Two solutions, Variable train-set formations and Multiple train-set operation, are common way to increase the transportation capability. These kind of long distance train-set can effect train-set command and control system, and sometimes the digital signals using train line from master cabin can not reach to the systems located the other extremity slave car. This is so called Voltage Drop. This phenomenon is originated from the electrical power consumption and electrical cable resistance, and cause to the equipments or cars located end of the electrical cable way, malfunction or abnormal operations. This voltage drop happens not only in train lines but also Battery Power Lines. The purpose of this investigation is to design high reliability railway vehicles by clarifying the possibility of happening these events case by case, by analyzing the reasons, and finally by finding the best solutions.

  • The train control and monitoring system(TCMS) is an on board computer system in railway vehicles performing the control, supervisory and diagnostic functions of the complete train. This system replaces a lot of hardwired relays and minimizes the necessaries vehicle wiring thus increasing the reliability of the train. In this paper, we proposed a software design technique of TCMS using CASE tool (SAO+). The TCMS functions are implemented in software easily programmed, using a functional block, graphic programming language. We applied the compressor air module to a case study.

  • A level of integration will increase, if the number of elements of the circuit can be reduced. We aim to design the circuit of the new system for any further integration by using Neuron MOS Transistor. In this paper, we consider to introduce Soft-Hardware Logic and multiple-valued logic to the design methods for reducing the number of elements and inner wiring. We have designed 4-valued add-subtracter circuit using above logic. We discuss the design methods, features, and characteristics of this circuit by SPICE simulation.

  • Three-phase four-wire electrical distribution systems are widely employed in manufacturing plants, commercial and residential buildings Due to the nonlinear loads connected to the distribution system, the neutral conductor carries excessive harmonic currents even under balanced loading since the triplen harmonics in phase currents do not cancel each other This may result in wiring failure of the neutral conductor and overloading of the distribution transformer In response to these concerns, a cost-effective neutral current harmonic suppressor system has been proposed. This paper proposes an improved control method for the harmonic suppressor system under unbalanced load conditions The proposed control method compensates for only the harmonic components in the neutral conductor, and the zero-sequence fundamental component due to unbalanced loading is prevented from flowing through the harmonic suppressor system This remedies overloading and power loss of the system The experimental results on a prototype validate the proposed control approach.

  • This paper proposes an open-phase fault control system using 3-phase neutral voltage. The proposed control system is designed as a new topology which uses the potential difference between neutral point and ground(G) of three phase. And the open-phase detection system is configured to three resistance devices(Y-wiring) of the same capacity to each line of three phase power source R,S,T. This paper also designs a mobile phone application for remote alarm of open-phase fault.

  • In this paper, CAN(Controller Area Network)is used to solve the wire harness problem in the outside mirror of automobile which has a lot of functions in narrow space. If the number of wires is reduced, it has benefits of lower product cost and maintenance. CAN was originally developed by the German company Robert Bosch for use in the car industry to provide a cost-effective communications bus for in car electronics and as alternative to expensive and cumbersome wiring looms. CAN controller is a serial communication protocol which efficiently supports distributed real-time control with a very high level of security. The communication between master CAN controller and slave CAN controller is realized and controller's performance is tested by experiment.

  • 차량 전장품 중 와이어링 하네스에서 큰 전류가 흐르는 회로의 연결 단자가 가지는 전기적 내구 성능 및 기계적 성능을 확보하기 위하여 단자 압착부의 압축율 최적화 기법을 개발하였다. 우선 단자 제작 과정을 표준화한 후 압착부의 주요 인자인 기계적 인장강도와 내부 부식 정도에 의한 전기적 저항 중대로 화재가 발생 가능성 관점에서 접근하였다. 여러 가지 실험을 통하여 얻어진 DATA를 분석한 결과 회귀 2차 모형을 사용하여 대전류 단자 압착부의 전기적/기계적 내구 성능 최적화 구간을 설정 하였으며, 이의 과정을 제시 하였다.

  • As a way to build more efficient and intelligent container cranes for todays hub ports, communication networks are used to interconnect numerous sensors, actuators, controllers, and operator switches and consoles that are spatially distributed over a crane. Various signals such as sensor values and operator's commands are digitized and broadcast on the network instead of using separate wiring cables. This not only makes the design and manufacturing of a crane more efficient, but also easier implementation of intelligent control algorithms. This paper presents the performance evaluation of CAN(Controller Area Network), TTP(Time Triggered Protocol) and Byteflight that can be used for cranes. Through discrete event simulation, several important quantitative performance factors such as the probability of a transmission failure, average system delay (data latency) and maximum system delay have been evaluated.

  • This paper proposes a new planar robotic manipulator using stackable 4-BAR mechanisms for various applications. The proposed manipulator has an advantage that we can separate the driving actuators from a robotic manipulator. By separating actuators from the manipulator, we are able to separate the electrical component such as electrical wiring from the mechanical linkage/joint components in the robotic manipulator. Also, we suggest the kinematic analysis of the proposed manipulator which is composed of input mechanisms, multiple 4-BAR mechanisms and output mechanisms. Finally, we suggest numerical simulations to show the effectiveness of the proposed manipulator.
