  • A RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) system Is a kind of Radio Frequency Communication System and a branch of Automatic Data Collection System. The RFID System is composed of RF Tag(or Transponder) and RFID Reader(controller). This paper deal with Wireless communications that acquired RF Tag ID by RFID reader, and then target system will transmit Tag ID to RFID Server through the internet using Wireless LAN. The RFID system of Todays are commonly used by a wired RFID system. In this system uses commonly used Wireless LAN, and then we can connect the internet if we have a AP(Wireless Lan Access Point). Internet connection can make a transmission of RF Tag ID, and can make a reception of returning data that are images or information.

  • The application range of IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN has rapidly expanding from campus, enterprise to the public network of Hot Spot area due to the advantages of easiness of construction, mobility of wireless client station, convenience of usage and so on. However the security of WLAN(Wireless LAN) is vulnerable inherently because of using RF as a medium, and so the dangers of infringement of personal information and inside data of enterprises have increased and wardriving attack searching for security vulnerability in wireless LAN has become more serious especially. In this paper, we find out the overview of various procedures and preparatory stages for wardriving attack against wireless LAN, and propose complementary methods to prevent information infringement accidents from wardriving attack in wireless LAN. For this purpose, we make an equipment which is suitable for wardriving in wireless LAN and show security vulnerability of AP(Access Point) operation in WLAN around Yangjae-Dong in Seoul as a result of using the equipment.

  • Because that the wireless LAN and the Bluetooth which are currently used are operating at the ISM 2.4GHz, we must meet the frequency interference So performance degradation is occurred by frequency interference between the wireless LAN and the Bluetooth In this paper, for decreasing the errors between the communication systems because of the interferences, we analysis the influence of mutual interference between the local communication systems and the specification of frequency interference problem on the Bluetooth, the wireless LAN and home electronic products

그런데, new AP와 STA 사이의 보안협상이 완료될 때까지, old AP에서 손실될 데이터 프레임을 old AP의 보안 정보를 적용하여 new AP를 통해서 STA로 전달함으로써 이러한 데이터 손실을 막을 수 있다.

  • In wireless environment such as wireless LAN, proper location of wireless LAN AP allows us to take an effective coverage to provide good wireless communication service. To simulate wireless environment, FDTD formulation is introduced and Gaussian pulse injection in grid space is considered to be replaced wireless LAN AP. So structural effect corresponding to location of arbitrary obstacle must be considered, and its received gain is estimated. An obstacle in scattering field should be modeled to be conductor and concrete wall and its diffraction effect for some cross wall is evaluated between transmitter and receiver point.

  • This research proposed that development of wireless condition monitoring system using WLAN network. It offers the prospect of improved performance that removed a current a coaxial cable and reduced overall cost of condition monitoring. Recently, there is an interesting concern for wireless system as an infrastructure technology construct ubiquitous computing environment in the future. High performance computing board makes minimization with integrate of a various functions which support wireless LAN network. Instead of wired coaxial cable using measurement system in industry, wireless LAN network assists industry automation and engineer's convenience. Developed system adapted wireless LAN network on shipboard with engine room and deck house, it also executes wireless measurement test on 8500TEU containership.

  • In this paper, a serial wireless LAN virtual communication module that allows microprocessors to communicate wirelessly with other peripheral devices is developed as part of a study to build an online virtual experiment system that allows them to practice virtually anytime, anywhere in microprocessor application education in electrical and electronic control engineering. The developed module is connected to the microprocessor in the virtual experiment system through serial interface. The serial data is sent to and received from peripheral devices through the wireless LAN interface of the host computer where the virtual experiment software is being performed. In order to verify the function of the developed serial wireless LAN virtual communication module, experiments were conducted in which a microprocessor in the virtual experiment system exchanged data with an Android smartphone through a wireless LAN interface of a host computer. The developed serial wireless LAN communication module is expected to enable virtual microprocessors to communicate with surrounding real devices through wireless LAN, which can be efficiently used in microprocessor application education.

  • A medical environment in which patient information can be accessed anytime / anywhere is called a "ubiquitous environment". To realize such an environment, the installation of wireless LAN is quite effective. Because the maximum radio wave output (antenna power) is set low in Japan, it has been easy to safely introduce wireless LAN into hospitals, to date mainly into large hospitals. However, if the placement of access points is not done properly, problems will occur, such as signals not reaching the desired area. A solution to these types of problems is to do an electromagnetic-field propagation simulation, which should be performed before construction of the hospital. It is also necessary to protect against security problems, such as signal interception or illegal access. We herein show our procedures for the safe introduction of wireless LAN.

  • In this experiment, we developed a ubiquitous computing platform that can analyze vibration and noise in wireless environment by wireless LAN and sensors. In order to utilize the COTS(Commercial Off The Shell) concept, we used a PDA that supports wireless LAN and serial communication as a main board. Following platform is used to measure the noise level of heavy construction equipments in a remote area.
