Processes in the real-time distributed control systems share a network medium to exchange their data. Performance of feedback control loops in the real-time distributed control systems is subject to the network-induced delays from sensor to controller, and from controller to actuator. The network-induced delays are directly dependent upon the data sampling times of control components which share a network medium. In this study, an algorithm of determining data sampling times is developed using the "window concept". where the sampling datafrom the control components dynamically share a limited number of windows. The scheduling algorithm is validated through the aimulation experiments.

Importation of mass production of building elements with standardization are vital way for environment-friendly architectural planning, which it makes the lifespan of a building longer than normal with easier maintenance and remodeling. The advantage might be magnified here in Korea since typical types of apartment house are dominated in our construction market. For the purpose, a series of pre-manufactured window systems is one of the optimal elements to be prototype building modules. In the design process of the system windows, lots of consideration should be involved and they include aesthetics, thermal performance, noise reduction, airtightness, and so forth. A real survey on the ready-made window systems has been performed and its optical issue related to luminous peculiarity is what is of major interest in this study. In addition, technical review on more advanced window products and their adaptable potential for the integration with fundamental architectural design elements were carried out.

A tape feeder of a SMD(Surface Mount Device) mounter is a device that sequentially feeds electronic components on a tape reel to the pick-up system of the mounter. As components are getting much smaller, feeding accuracy of a feeder becomes one of the most important factors for successful component pick-up. Therefore, it is critical to keep the feeding accuracy to a specified level in the assembly and production of tape feeders. This paper describes a tape feeder inspection system that was developed to automatically measure and to inspect feeding accuracy using machine vision. It consists of a feeder base, an image acquisition system, and a personal computer. The image acquisition system is composed of CCD cameras with lens, LED illumination systems, and a frame grabber inside the PC. This system loads up to six feeders at a time and inspects them automatically and sequentially. The inspection software was implemented using Visual C++ on Windows with easily usable GUI. Using this system, we can automatically measure and inspect the quality of ail feeders in production process by analyzing the measurement results statistically.

본 논문에서는 상용화된 음성-인식 디바이스가 다른 임베디드 모듈과 통신하며 스마트홈 중앙처리 서버역할을 수행하려 할 때 제작사에 의해 개발되어지지 않거나 제한된 모듈과 서비스만을 제공한다는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 사용자가 직접 간단한 작업으로 원하는 기능의 모듈을 개발하여 자유롭게 음성인식명령을 추가할 수 있는 플랫폼을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 플랫폼의 개념은 특정 OS에 종속되지 않으므로 다양한 시스템에서 제공될 수 있도록 설계되었으며 실험 플랫폼은 Windows기반으로 제작되었으나 다른 시스템에도 같은 개념을 적용하여 제작할 수 있다.

Geodetic datums define the size and shape of the earth and the origin and orientation of the coordinate systems used to map the earth. A lot of different datums have been developed and each nation uses its own datum as the basis for coordinate systems used to identify positions in geographic information systems. Recently GPS receivers are widely used to find out location and GPS is based on the World Geodetic System 1984(WGS-84) datum. Therefore the diversity of datums in use today requires accurate conversion between coordinates in different datums. In this study a coordinate conversion program on Windows is developed to transform between Tokyo Bessel(1941), which is the reference datum in Korea, and WGS-84. Several examples of coordinate conversion are presented and computed results are tested and proved to be correct.

Recently, due to the advance of computer, network and Internet technology, control/monitoring systems are required to process the massive data, At the same time, the software development environment uses more and more component-based methodology. This paper proposes the services for the control /monitoring domain. Especially we define domain-specific interfaces and categories to acquire compatibility between products, and implement architecture for lightweight event service. As it is very important to support compatibility between heterogeneous systems, the proposed system provides modules for the web service and communication protocols based on the XML. And as proposed architecture consists of cluster of servers and Windows 2000's NLB service, it can guarantee more stable operation,

The multiplicity of operating systems brings about a choice problem to the end-user and a multi-fold intensity to the competing developer. This study intends to provide guidelines solving the problems for both the end-user and the developers of operating systems. For the purpose, we adopt an appropriate evaluation model in terms of user-perceived quality through the applicable criteria and an evaluation method. Briefly, reliability and portability are key factors to contribute to the perceived duality. The empirical study also illustrates a comparative analysis on the dominant products. Since the advance of WWW, internet related fields have been growing very rapidly. Especially, the development of electronic commerce ares have changed even or life style. This paper is about the design and implementation of an internet auction system, which is considered as on of the most attractive internet services. An internet auction system has more complex processes compared with other electronic commerce systems. In auction systems, bids and a successful bid are required in trading all goods. In this paper, I designed and implemented all processes of an internet auction system, in which a bid tracing systems is included for the first time. The bid tracing system is implemented using only HTTP in maintain compatibility in WWW environment. I also used th JAVA blocking concept to simulate two-way communication. The proposed system is implemented on Windows NT environment using JAVA, ASP, and the Oracle database.

본 연구는 윈도우 사용자가 구 버전의 운영체제를 상위 버전으로 업그레이드하는 동기에 대해 논의한다. 본 연구문제를 논의하기 위해 통합기술수용이론(UTAUT)과 합리적 행위이론(TRA)을 바탕으로 연구가설을 구성했다. 대학생을 대상으로 199부의 데이터를 수집해 분석에 이용했다. 분석결과는 두 가지로 요약된다. 첫째, 성과기대와 노력기대는 운영체제 업그레이드 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 영향과 용이한 조건, 그리고 태도는 운영체제 업그레이드 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 사용자의 성과기대, 노력기대, 사회적 영향, 그리고 용이한 조건 인식이 높을수록 상위 버전으로 업그레이드하고자 하는 의도는 더욱 긍정적으로 평가한다고 볼 수 있다.

Nowadays, people perform their tasks anywhere anytime using their mobile devices. For this reason, data synchronization (DS) between mobile devices and a central server has become one of the most essential technologies in mobile environments. Currently, several mobile DS protocols are proposed and used. However, the existing DS protocols cannot guarantee interoperability between them. To solve the problem, an embedded DS gateway has been developed in our previous study. The gateway runs on a Windows Mobile-based emulator. It converts data on a mobile device into common data specified by OMA DS standard protocol and vice versa. The embedded gateway has been built to support the OMA DS standard protocol. In order to verify that the embedded gateway conforms to the OMA DS standard protocol, two kinds of OMA conformance tests have to be conducted - interoperability test with an OMA DS-based server and conformance test with SCTS (SyncML Conformance Test Suit). In this paper, some parts of the gateway previously built are modified and the modified gateway is installed on a Windows Mobile-based smart phone. And the interoperability test and the conformance test with the SCTS are conducted. The results of the tests show that the embedded DS gateway operates properly on the Windows Mobile-based smart phone and that the gateway passes the tests, verifying its conformity to the OMA DS standard protocol. In addition, DS performance tests show that DS delay times between a real smart phone and a DS server increase gently as the number of DS data increases. In other words, the embedded DS gateway built in this paper can be used for a real smart phone at a reasonable performance cost.
