  • The glass used for Mobile Camera Window is required to have high strength. Cell type manufacturing by means of CNC is widely used for camera window. Individual loading and unloading is needed for each process, such as painting and PVD, in cell type manufacturing. The purpose of this study is to search the enhanced manufacturing process with sheet type throughout bulk unit production in painting and PVD. This study includes sheet type manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, wet etching, 2nd tempering, printing, and AF/AR coating.

  • This paper introduces a method that can detect obstacles and corridor environments from the images captured by a CCD camera in an automobile or mobile robot is proposed. Processing the input dynamic images in real time requires high performance hardware as well as efficient software. In order to relieve these requirements for detecting the useful information from the images in real time, a "Moving Window" scheme is proposed. Therefore, detecting the useful information, it becomes possible to search the obstacles within the driving corridor of an automobile or mobile robot. The feasibility of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated through the simulated experiments of the corridor driving.

A Modified Expansion-Contraction Method for Mobile Object Tracking in Video Surveillance: Indoor Environment

  • Recent years have witnessed a growing interest in the fields of video surveillance and mobile object tracking. This paper proposes a mobile object tracking algorithm. First, several parameters such as object window, object area, and expansion-contraction (E-C) parameter are defined. Then, a modified E-C algorithm for multiple-object tracking is presented. The proposed algorithm tracks moving objects by expansion and contraction of the object window. In addition, it includes methods for updating the background image and avoiding occlusion of the target image. The validity of the proposed algorithm is verified experimentally. For example, the first scenario traces the path of two people walking in opposite directions in a hallway, whereas the second one is conducted to track three people in a group of four walkers.

수정된 전역 DWA에 의한 자율이동로봇의 경로계획 (Path Planning for Autonomous Mobile Robots by Modified Global DWA)

  • The global dynamic window approach (DWA) is widely used to generate the shortest path of mobile robots considering obstacles and kinematic constraints. However, the dynamic constraints of robots should be considered to generate the minimum-time path. We propose a modified global DWA considering the dynamic constraints of robots. The reference path is generated using A* algorithm and smoothed by cardinal spline function. The trajectory is then generated to follows the reference path in the minimum time considering the robot dynamics. Finally, the local path is generated using the dynamic window which includes additional terms of speed and orientation. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the performance of the proposed method.

  • 본 연구는 산업현장에서 사용되는 이동로봇이 익숙하지 못한 환경에서 목적지에 도착할 수 있는 항법 알고리즘을 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위해 동적창 접근(DWA)과 Dijkstra 경로설정 알고리즘을 결합하여 항법 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이를 성능 비교하기 위해 로컬 동적창 접근(LDWA), 글로벌 동적창 접근(GDWA), 고속 탐색 랜덤 트리 (RRT) 알고리즘을 비교 분석한다. LDWA과 GDWA을 적용한 Dijkstra 알고리즘을 활용한 항법 알고리즘을 구현하여 제한된 정보를 이용하여 이동로봇이 목적지에 도달할 수 있도록 한다. 이 알고리즘들의 목적지에 도착할 때까지 걸리는 시간, 장애물 회피와 계산복잡도에 대한 비교 분석한다. 위 알고리즘의 한계를 극복하기 위한 새로운 항법 알고리즘을 제안하고 제시된 최적화된 항법 알고리즘의 산업현장에서의 활용 방안을 모색한다.

동적 환경에서 불완전한 지도를 이용한 이동로봇의 강인한 위치인식 알고리즘의 개발 (Robust Localization Algorithm for Mobile Robots in a Dynamic Environment with an Incomplete Map)

  • We present a robust localization algorithm using particle filter for mobile robots in a dynamic environment. It is difficult to describe moving obstacles like people or other robots on the map and the environment is changed after mapping. A mobile robot cannot estimate its pose robustly with this incomplete map because sensor observations are corrupted by un-modeled obstacles. The proposed algorithms provide robustness in such a dynamic environment by suppressing the effect of corrupted sensor observations with a selective update or a sampling from non-corrupted window. A selective update method makes some particles keep track of the robot, not affected by the corrupted observation. In a sampling from non-corrupted window method, particles are always sampled from several particle sets which use only non-corrupted observation. The robustness of proposed algorithm is validated with experiments and simulations.

Deep learning-based scalable and robust channel estimator for wireless cellular networks

  • In this paper, we present a two-stage scalable channel estimator (TSCE), a deep learning (DL)-based scalable, and robust channel estimator for wireless cellular networks, which is made up of two DL networks to efficiently support different resource allocation sizes and reference signal configurations. Both networks use the transformer, one of cutting-edge neural network architecture, as a backbone for accurate estimation. For computation-efficient global feature extractions, we propose using window and window averaging-based self-attentions. Our results show that TSCE learns wireless propagation channels correctly and outperforms both traditional estimators and baseline DL-based estimators. Additionally, scalability and robustness evaluations are performed, revealing that TSCE is more robust in various environments than the baseline DL-based estimators.

  • 최근 각종 스마트 폰이 출시됨에 따라 스마트 폰이 대중화되어 가고 있다. 이에 따라 모바일에 관한 관심이 급증하면서 각종 안내서비스, 광고서비스 등이 모바일 환경으로 시선이 집중되고 있다. 이러한 서비스는 모바일의 Wi-Fi는 물론 3G망에 접속할 수 없는 상황에서도 원활하게 서비스가 이루어져야 하며, 그 목적에 부합되는 특수성을 가져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 Microsoft Window Mobile(이하 WinMobile)과 Android 운영체제의 모바일 장치에 Packing R-tree를 이용한 GIS 엔진을 탑재하여 3G, Wi-Fi 등의 통신 장치가 없거나 동작하지 않는 상황에서도 지도 서비스가 가능하며, 특정 목적에 특화된 위치기반 지도 서비스의 기반이 되는 모듈을 구현하였다.

0.11-2.5 GHz All-digital DLL for Mobile Memory Interface with Phase Sampling Window Adaptation to Reduce Jitter Accumulation

  • An all-digital delay-locked loop (DLL) for a mobile memory interface, which runs at 0.11-2.5 GHz with a phase-shift capability of $180^{\circ}$, has two internal DLLs: a global DLL which uses a time-to-digital converter to assist fast locking, and shuts down after locking to save power; and a local DLL which uses a phase detector with an adaptive phase sampling window (WPD) to reduce jitter accumulation. The WPD in the local DLL adjusts the width of its sampling window adaptively to control the loop bandwidth, thus reducing jitter induced by UP/DN dithering, input clock jitter, and supply/ground noise. Implemented in a 65 nm CMOS process, the DLL operates over 0.11-2.5 GHz. It locks within 6 clock cycles at 0.11 GHz, and within 17 clock cycles at 2.5 GHz. At 2.5 GHz, the integrated jitter is $954fs_{rms}$, and the long-term jitter is $2.33ps_{rms}/23.10ps_{pp}$. The ratio of the RMS jitter at the output to that at the input is about 1.17 at 2.5 GHz, when the sampling window of the WPD is being adjusted adaptively. The DLL consumes 1.77 mW/GHz and occupies $0.075mm^2$.

DEA 및 DEA-Window를 통한 국내 게임산업의 정태적/동태적 효율성 분석: 온라인 및 모바일 게임 기업을 중심으로 (Measuring Relative Static/Dynamic Efficiency of Korean Game Companies Using DEA and DEA-Window: Focusing on Online and Mobile Game Company)

  • 본 연구는 최근 엔터테인먼트 산업의 핵심 분야로 각광받으며 향후 국가 경제의 새로운 성장 동력으로 주목을 받고 있는 게임산업 중 온라인 및 모바일 게임 기업 25곳을 대상으로 2014년부터 2018년까지 5년간의 효율성 분석을 진행하였다. 정태적 효율성 분석을 위해 DEA를, 동태적 효율성 분석을 위해 DEA-Window를 사용하였다. 투입 변수로 자산, 종업원 수, 비용을 선정하였으며 산출 변수로 영업이익과 매출을 선정하였다. 연구의 주요 결과로는 규모 효율성은 2014년을 제외하고 전체 평균이 0.85를 넘는 준수한 결과를 보였으나, 기술 효율성은 전체 기간 중 0.80을 넘은 연도가 없었다. 또한 기업 규모의 관점에서 상위 기업과 하위 기업의 효율성 차이가 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 효율성 평균의 추이는 2014년부터 2016년까지 상승하다가 2017년부터 하락하는 결과를 나타냈다.
